Hampshire Women vs Durham Women

In this 9 squad competition, 4 matches were successfully completed today and I am talking about match among Durham Women against Hampshire Women. Durham Women squad was started this today match first with batting but their batters displayed quite bad performance and collected 118 scores as a target. With 6 wickets and 153 deliveries, Hampshire Women squad succeeded to defeat Durham Women squad. Lauren Bell bowler played major role in getting victory and he managed to pick up 5 significant wickets and restricted them at bad scores. Maia Bouchier was top scorer of this match and played superb batting inning inning with collecting 47 scores.

It was interesting match between these two teams. Hampshire got the lead by 3 runs successfully got the victory in just 24 overs. Durham Women were failed to built high target for the opponents. Bowler Lauren Bell was the real threat for Durham, she picked up 5 major wickets that truly helped to broke the momentum of the team. Eventually all team was out on 181 runs in 36th overs. Hampshire were really confident for the victory. Maia Bouchier impressively played a knock of 47 runs. As they were mentally relaxed , so played all game in easy mood and wrapped the match in just 24 overs on the loss of 4 wickets. Durham team needed to pay more focus on team preparation for upcoming innings.

Hyderabad Kingsmen losing four back to back matches in a row but after they made a great comeback, they have changed their batting and bowling and qualified for the playoffs. In the 14th over, when Muhammad Amir got out, that was a totally easy wicket. Muhammad Amir tried to play in the gap, but he just tried to tip the ball and played an irregular shot, leading to the loss of his wicket. Yes, the way they played poorly in the beginning and failed in the match and played well in the last matches and got points and improved their strength. That is why now they will play the semi-final matches but I hope they will not be able to make their success in the final. Hyderabad has made a good effort by bringing changes within themselves due to which they have succeeded by keeping themselves at par with other teams on points. Peshawar Zalmi has worked hard and strong in every match but they could not keep themselves strong in every match but still they are strong enough at the first place and their hard work should not be wasted so they will have to play successfully and work hard till the final. In the fourteenth game USA women and Vanuatu women faced each other in which USA women lost the first wicket as soon as it came.It was USA first mistake.After that USA women built a partnership of 110 runs. The opening players handled the entire game and did a better job and Vanuatu women bowlers could not do anything.USA women were hitting back to back sixes and fours on every ball of Vanuatu women and each bowler from Vanuatu women gave away more than 30 runs and in the second innings the highest score from Vanuatu women was 25 runs which was too low to achieve the aim If the team had established discipline and worked hard they would have winning the game but the difference in runs was so big that even if they played quickly they would have lost.

Today 16 th game of ICC Women's T20I Challenge Trophy series was played btw Vanuatu-W and Italy-W. Italy-W team won toss and they elected field first and gave batting lineup to Vanuatu-W team. In this game, Vanuatu batsmen performed very well and gave 153 runs target in 20 overs by 2 wickets. Susan made half century and scored 51 runs in 42 balls and hitted eight 4s but her runs and effort was useless and Italy-W team beated Vanuatu-W team by 8 runs. Emilia got player of game award because her contribution in batting side was so helpful and she scored 54 runs in 33 balls and hitted eleven 4s. Methnara batsmen also helped team to win this game and she batted well with Emilia batsmen and made 33 runs in 23 balls and hitted four 4s and one 6s. Vanuatu-W team lost only 2 wickets and these two wickets were took by Ilenia bowler. Congratulations Italy-W team won 16 th game.

Batting first, Vanuatu managed to put up a total of 153/2, with Susan Stephen hitting a half century and Valenta Langiatu and Rachel Andrew providing the backup. But Italy chased down the target, and their captain Emilia Bartram scored a half century as well.

Mentally relaxed and easily wrapped it on just 16th overs losing 1 wicket. Overall by looking performance of Italy it was totally below the standard. They have to be prepared themselves and  improved their strategy to get win in upcoming matches.

USA-W vs Italy-W, 17 th game of ICC Women's T20I Challenge Trophy series was played yesterday at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium. In start of game, Italy-W team got chance to take first bat or bowl by winning toss and they decided to batting first. Italy-W batsmen batted poor and made 99 runs target in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Sainavi bowler bowled out 2 wickets in 4 overs and gave 12 runs and she got player of game award at end of game. USA-W batsmen chased down target easily and they lost only 1 wickets. Opener batsmen Sainavi and Chetna helped a lot team to win this game and Sainavi batsmen scored 52 runs in 51 balls and Chetna lost wickets at 36 runs. USA-W team rank is 1 st and they won 6 games out of 7.
