What a fantastic win of SL19 against strong team of India 19. Means 12 balls in hand and they dominate the match is truly appreciated. Indian early players were fumbled lost two wickets. However Arjun Rajput and Anvy David both played brisk innings. And helped their team to raise the target. But if their top and lower order provide support with handsome runs target could be set more than this. 285 runs not big challenging in 50 overs match. Moreover Indian teams bowling pressure was weak. They just got two wickets in whole match. Dimantha Mahavithana innings filled energy into the game. He scored 155 runs , not single bowler could get this important wicket. This single player released the tension of his team. So SL19 clinched the win by 8 wickets and celebrated their well deserved victory.

It was a very intense game between under 19s teams today and this close game was played between SL U19s team and India U19s team. This game was took place at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium. SL U19s team won toss and they selected field first and gave batting line to India U19s team. India U19s team set 290 runs target in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets. Vineeth batsmen batted so great from India u19s team and made century 131 runs in 136 balls but unfortunately they lost this game closely. SL under 19s won this game by close margin and they had to overcome many challenges to win this game or with this win, they also won this series. Sethmika bowler bowled out 4 wickets in 10 overs and gave 41 runs. In batting, Chamika batsmen batted strongly and scored 84 runs in 68 balls and hitted seven 4s and two 6s and remained not out. By playing first India Under 19s team made 290 runs and lost 8 wickets in 50 overs. This total was not bad. In starting they lost 2 wickets early but after some time they secured wickets for long time and went to build a partnership and they did it. Especially middle order players took responsibility and they played responsible inning. On the other hand Sri Lanka Under-19s team bowled outstanding bowling and they gave low runs and gave tough time in some areas. Also in batting side they showed average performance because they won the match very closely and with difficulty. If they missed one ball then opponent team won the match.
