They showed themselves to be very strong, in which Bahir Shah scored the highest score, who completed his half-century. Along with this, other players supported their team and increased their target. This target was achieved through the hard work of all the players. In comparison, they could only score 185, which proves that their performance was a little poor because the target was not so big that they could not achieve it. If they kept their batting strong and played comfortably without any disruption, it could have been achieved, but they failed. Only a few players from their team scored a good score. Zaitullah Shaheen bowler played crucial role in getting victory and restricted them at low scores by picking 3 significant wickets. They gave more extra runs and showed poor bowling. No on could delivered well bowling.  Almost every bowler proved expensive for team. Romania team won toss and they got opportunity to take first bat or bowl and they elected bowling first. Denmark set 162 runs target in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Opening of Denmark was very strong which is why Denmark won Final game. Musa opener batted brilliantly and made 80 runs in 56 balls and hitted seven 4s and three 6s. Hamid batsmen also performed very well with Musa batsmen and scored 48 runs in 42 balls and hitted five 4s and one 6s. Romania batsmen failed to chase target and lost game by closely 6 runs. Saud got player of game award because his bowling effort was helpful and took down 4 wickets in 4 overs and gave 23 runs. Congratulations Denmark team won Final game.

In this game, there was a close loss of 6 runs and it was given to Rom which was owing to some weakness and not playing with better performance. First, they showed weakness on the wicket and could not complete the run. This was a fate-changing game for them but they would lose by the same runs that were in their destiny. The 2026 Men's T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier B has concluded. Danmark defeated Romania in the finals and progressed to the Europe regional finals. It was a close match though. Danmark made 162/7, with openers Musa Shaheen and Hamid Shah scoring most of the runs. In return, Romania managed to get to 156/8. There were one native player each in the playing XI of each team. Nicholas Sonne-Rudd representing Danmark and Adrian Nicholas Lascu for Romania. A decade or so ago, these two teams used to be at least 50% native.   

Final game of ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier B series was concluded between Denmark and Romania team and yes, this was close game between them and held at Svanholm Park. Romania team won toss and they got opportunity to take first bat or bowl and they elected bowling first. Denmark set 162 runs target in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Opening of Denmark was very strong which is why Denmark won Final game. Musa opener batted brilliantly and made 80 runs in 56 balls and hitted seven 4s and three 6s. Hamid batsmen also performed very well with Musa batsmen and scored 48 runs in 42 balls and hitted five 4s and one 6s. Romania batsmen failed to chase target and lost game by closely 6 runs. Saud got player of game award because his bowling effort was helpful and took down 4 wickets in 4 overs and gave 23 runs. Congratulations Denmark team won Final game.

The two team that are playing this final match are ranked first and second in the table which means that both of these teams are very good and strong team but the one that is ranked first in the table did not perform so well in this match.The target they set was 166 runs. Ismat Alam scored 67 runs. Apart from that, no one else showed any special performance, but the team playing against them achieved their target before the completion of the overs. Only 16 overs had passed and the Amo Sharks team scored 170 runs and only three players from their team were out. Imran Mir was the opener for his team and he scored 77 runs. Apart from that another player performed very well which helped them win a lot. The Speen Ghar Tigers team faced failure in this match.

Today is going to be couple of games in LPL, it is double header and the weekend going to be interesting cause it is Dambulla Sixers vs Kandy Royals. So far based on some news, the strongest team for this season is expected to be Kandy Royals after Jaffna Kings. Kandy Royals have big names and overseas players, such as Moeen Ali and Brandon McMullen, while Kusal Perera is also here. That's why today will be their exam day, let's see how they impress us.

Lanka Premier League

As today was the first match of the Lanka Premiere League, some hours before the start of the game, a big controversy happened, which was that the Sri Lankan police arrested the Jaffna Kings franchise for a special investigation, which was about sports corruption but later Sri Lankan cricket board said nothing happened against the winner, and he is free now. The case is finished now, but the question is why only the Lanka league, because before in 2024,  we saw twice with different team owners.

Galle Titans batted first and posted 213 runs as a target that's really a big target. Their batsman were relaxed because they found no hard fielding and bowling from the opponents side. Pitch considered to be good for them, although they have lost 6 players even though they succeed to up lift the scores. WhileGalle Titans gave tough time on their turn. In first ten overs almost they collected 5 wickets in their hands. Major contribution was made from Eshan Malinga , he claimed with 4 major wickets. While JK team was overwhelmed by their strict planning. They lost the game by the margin of 36 runs.

It is also very interesting to watch such matches in which the target is enough strong and hard work is done and success is achieved. Their batsmen did not play carelessly due to which their target became so big and strong and due to this their bowler also worked hard due to which their success became good and due to this strength they victory this first match. This Jaffna king bowler should have played hard and tried to stop the runs which would have been a target for them and they would have succeeded by achieving the target with their batting. Jaffna kings' batsmen did not even achieve the target and lost all the wickets in 19 overs due to which they were defeated by a big margin. Jaffna kings should have played well in the first match so that they would not have been defeated due to this flaw.

Yesterday was the match of Washington Freedom vs San Francisco Unicorns. Washington Freedom scored a huge target of around 230 to 240 runs, which is really massive in T20.  Especially their batters, the way they played includes Andries Gous 73 runs and Steven Smith  43 runs off 20 balls and how could we forget the most iconic and much needed innings of Matthew Short, who scored 121 off 56 balls, which consists of 11 fours, 8 sixes, but still the opponent gave good competition, the difference was just of 7 runs. Of course, bowlers always struggle on these kinds of flat pitches.
