Pitch considered to be good for them, although they have lost 6 players even though they succeed to up lift the scores. WhileGalle Titans gave tough time on their turn. In first ten overs almost they collected 5 wickets in their hands. Major contribution was made from Eshan Malinga , he claimed with 4 major wickets. While JK team was overwhelmed by their strict planning. They lost the game by the margin of 36 runs.
The first match of the Lincoln Premium League was played between Galle Titans and Jaffna Kings in which Jaffna Kings won the toss and invited Galle Titans to bat first. Fortunately Galle Titans also won the game because Galle Titans had set a target of 213 in T20 matches as well.Jaffna Kings failed to achieve this target and defeated Jaffna Kings by a huge margin of 36 runs.Galle Titans captain Dasun Shanaka played an incredible innings and scored 31 runs off 9 balls which was the highest strike rate they could have scored and also took a wicket in bowling.If the opening batsmen of Jaffna Kings had played well this 36 run gap could have been easily covered.
The way this league has started well and strongly, I hope that all the teams will play its final match and all the matches till the end with a lot of hard work and effort because everyone will work hard to victory the match and succeed in their future. This target was set enough strong for their success and they also paid a lot of attention to it and also bowled very hard due to which the Jaffna King batsmen could not play the full 20 overs and could only score 177 runs. Along with this, the second match of this league was also played with a lot of effort and strength due to which it seems like a league full of interest. Which I saw and the batsmen and bowlers involved in them seem to be working hard and prepared. The Jaffna King batsmen could have achieved this target, they were only poor in losing their careless wickets.
