Did anyone even noticed that the Global Super League 2026 has started? I didn't found any mention of the tournament in this thread. BCCI has refused to send any of the IPL franchises to this tournament, so the media interest is quite dull. Also, the Perth Scorchers are not sending their regular squad. This time they are sending their reserves. The first match was between Lahore Qalandars and the Perth Scorchers XI, which was won by the former. Shayan Jahangir made 65, well supported by 50 from Farhan Yousaf. Jhye Richardson and Brody Couch shared 5 wickets between them. In return, Scorchers fell short as Mohammad Imran and Usama Mir ran through their batting order.

I also agree with you that Galle Titans performed quite well because they are the number 1 and strong team of Lincoln Premier League but in today's match Dambulla Thunder shattered the illusion of Galle Titans and proved that Dambulla Thunder can give Galle Titans a tough time in the upcoming matches.We can guess from this match that Galle Titans collected these runs in the entire 20 overs while Dambulla Thunder achieved the target of 178 in only the first ball of 16 overs.That exactly it.Galle Titans bowling action was not tough at all.Dambulla Thunder kept hitting sixes and fours easily and in the blink of an eye Dambulla Thunder won.Although everyone feared that this match would be very competitive Dambulla Thunder performance made the match look one sided.Dambulla Thunder batsmen and bowlers deserve to win.

Dambulla Sixers cricket team know that pitch is very flat and Galle Gallants made a good target which was looking fighting match but pitch was of 220 and Galle Gallants team made only 178 runs in this match which gave confidence to opponent team and they chased the target very easily as that was possible for them and players of that team are in good form and Reeza played excellent knock for the team And he attracted many fans after that and he will get more league contracts because his performance is at top and he gave good batting to his team in pressure situation. Naib also came in good form when opponent batter was on fire and was playing excellent with not out inning and this made match one sided at the end. Shanaka captaincy was not good in this match because he should try to attack in first overs and should take wickets early in this match if they want to win this match but they gave more runs in the power play which gave confidence to opponent team to win this match.

But Qalandar's bowlers turn this easy game into difficult task. Except Andries Gous other players were failed to hit more runs. So Desert Vipers loss the game by the margin of 38 runs. Desert Viper's players need to put much attention to learn how to tackle the pressure of opponents bowling. Otherwise upcoming series would be more challenging for them.

That was a  well deserved victory for team Lahore Qalandars. They showed brilliant result in both batting & balling area. As a consequence, they secured win against Desert Vipers. LQ won last two match in a row & standing top on the qualifying table. Parvez emon and Michael Bracewell contributed a lot by their batting performance. When it comes to bowling side, i really agree with you that, Usama Mir was the key player in that match who changed the game by his bowling skill and hunted four wickets alone when Lahore Qalandars needed him most. Apart from that, Desert Vipers also tired well & keep fighting until the end but unfortunately they lost. Another match will start soon between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Desert Vipers. Lahore Qalandars cricket team gave 4 wickets in the powerful which was very bad situation for that team as they made 56 runs in the powerplay which was excellent performance by that team but from  wickets point of view, Guyana Amazon Warriors cricket team was in the strong position as they took 4 big wickets in the early overs and that was turning point as target was not big in this match and they have to all team out of Lahore Qalandars to win this match as LQ team has depth in batting.

Absolutely right you said that the pitch condition was tough for them and favourable for bowlers. But the question is that where was the partnership in difficult condition ?
This is not fair when they lost 2 or 3 wickets then they should observed the pitch condition or they could communicate with wicket loser batsman and then create plan for best performance. But they did not do this and from the senior players no one played responsible inning and lost back to back wickets. So Guyana Amazon Warriors team scored 85 runs very hardly. San Francisco Unicorns team took complete advantage of opponent team weak points and dismissed all team at lowest total. Since it was lowest total and this was not tough for them to chasing but during chasing they also showed some poor blunders and lost some wickets early. Anyway they chased this total in 18.3 overs and won the match.
