Today was the first match of this league which was between Ghana and Nigeria.Ghana lost the match due to many reasons, low target , struggling batting or lacking in bowling performance. But batting was the major cause of defeat, only two players were able to convert the scores in double digits, Nigeria fielding was totally impressive and appreciatable . Mostly players were dismissed because of catches, even bowlers of Nigeria missed not a single chance,Ghana's batsman were confused , or they failed to deal with bowlers or fielders. Last four overs were highly tensed because of continuous loss of wickets. Top to lower orders all players were fumbled, Whereas otherside Nigeria were performed too good, they began strongly and lost only 2 players while chasing the scores. Nigeria win the game because of their players strong performance.

Nigeria were much more settled all day long throughout the game, particularly when they began their pursuit. But it was never Ghana's intention to establish a partnership capable of applying pressure on the opposition and they kept falling all over themselves while playing. A thing that struck my mind was the discipline of Nigeria in the field. They didn't give the batters in Ghana chances and kept them on their toes. Ghana also had to bite their nails down whenever something began to take shape between the two, and it was only more so during the last over. The pursuit was done in a controlled manner for Nigeria. Loss of just two wickets proved they could get better value from their batters and avoid needless risks. Ghana will have to work on some of their batting combinations and keep cool in the face of wickets coming.

This can be a better and nice fight between these two teams because both have collected their points on the table. If we have to believe the most and blindly trust the NGA team for me. These opening games tell us how powerful NGA is and what they can do in this game.

Ghana played a dramatic inning, they could not well inning. In starting they lost back to back wickets. I felt that they were making a joke to cricket. At least they should went to built partnership when they lost some wickets early but unfortunately they could not perform well. But Nigeria A team showed mind blowing performance in both sides they gave lowest runs and dismissed all team. Since the total was easily chase-able then they played for reaching at destination and won the match with a brilliant performance.

Vincent was a person who took 5 wickets in this match and played match inning in this match and he was highest wicket taker in this match.

To be honest, I was not connected with this competition at all and had no idea about it. I just checked info about this competition online. There were total 4 squads and each squad played 6 matches, making 12 match in total. After all these matches, NGA a squad is leading squad with 10 point. They lost just 1 match out of 6. NGA squad is in 2nd place with 9 point. They also lost just 1 match while 1 of their match was abandoned which gave them 1 point.

I reviewed all match of SLE squad and GHA squad and I found their bat performance quite weak. In their 6 matches, neither squad managed to cross 100 scores even once. Whenever any of other squad collected more than 100 scores they went on to win that match. Same happened in last match, where NGA squad collected 136 scores after playing their full 20 over inning while SLE squad were bowled out for just 65 scores. Only one of their wicket managed to collect more than 20 scores. Abdullahi Ismail crucial bowl played significant role in this match and he picked up 4 wickets. In NGA inning, 3 batters collected more than 20 scores and NGA squad won match by big margin of 71 scores.

In this T20, NGA will have 5 games and at least 4 of them will have win. If they think about NGA nice performing and struggling, then the name of the team will be higher which is super for their benefit.

In the African sub-regional qualifier, the strongest and most skilled team right now is Nigeria because its batting and bowling lineup meets international standards. Nigeria is also showing its quality by winning the Sub-Regional tournament of 2024. So currently five African teams are in the race for an ICC qualifier for 2028 and among all five teams, the strongest and most deserving teams must be selected. So the games are starting and Nigeria is now going to play its third game against The Gambia on 20 October.

 If we compare both teams, Nigeria is stronger than it is the strongest candidate for an ICC qualifier because it's superior to all the group teams. Some experts predict that this team is capable enough to pull off an upset in the ICC tournament, and maybe Nigeria will do that, as the Netherlands did against South Africa in the 2022 WC.

Feeling kept changing after almost every over. Sometimes it felt like VAA squad would win match and sometimes it looked like TSS squad would take title.

Whole competition was played in 10 overs format, with 6 squad and 15 match in total. In final, VAA squad started with bat. After losing their first 3 top order wickets early, match started to look in TSS squad favour. Then came entry of batter Obus Pienaar, who played incredible inning of 82 scores at strike rate of 390 and collecting those scores from just 21 deliveries.

Total of 164 scores in 10 overs was not small target but VAA squad still could not defend it. On last delivery, TSS squad chased down total and won Canada Super60 title.

Nicholas Pooran also played very important role in making this victory possible. He played brilliant inning of 67 scores from just 23 deliveries and gave TSS support they needed during chase.

Really the final match was interesting. Both teams played outstanding inning. VAA team gave total of 164 runs in 10 overs. The total was not bad but the main thing was that how they defend this total in bowling line. If seen, the front team was also not weak who could not do this. So this was challenging for VAA team. But TSS team showed great confidence and played fearless inning. No doubt every moment created curiosity but at the end TSS team lifted the trophy. Pollard, Sams and Poran inning was incredible. Their runs declared the reason to won the match. Anyway both team played outstanding inning but winner deserved this trophy and they won the trophy.
