For the sake of the Americans, I think it would have been better you specify the type of football you are referring to because football mean different things for an American and a Briton.
Well, soccer is the biggest sport in the world and has a unique way of entertaining spectators.  It's unifying feature might be the reason it is so popular and loved by many.

Yes, and just like any other sports, there are crazy "fans" around it, fans that really supported their teams because it's part of their culture already. And the game is so simple and yet it is a very competitive sports.

Definitely some young people aim to be a football player and idolizes stars and the potential to make some huge money if you are really that great is there.

And since this game is ingrain on some nation's culture, they are going to take it personal and so it developed to be one of the most competitive sports, not just not physical, but mental as well as there are huge pressure if you represent your country and beat your rival.

I think he is referring to football (soccer in United States). I do not like sport generally again too because the odds are low but some bettors prefer it saying they can analyze it more than casinos games but I prefer casinos now because of the better odds to chances of winning or losing.

If you are referring to American football, then I am outta here. I try to understand the game but it is too complicated unlike basketball that is without much complications. I may watch it but I do not bet on it because what I do not understand, I do not bet on.

I will answer according to my version. why most people in the world like or love football. The answer is simple, because this type of sport can be played by all levels of society. does not recognize castes such as golf and other types of sports. neither rich nor poor, we can play this game. Also, football is played as a team and we can have fun with it and keep our bodies healthy at the same time.

This question is too simple, you can even do it via internet search. However, not all countries dominate this type of sport. For example, in America there are many types of sports that are more popular than football. Well, let me share a little experience. In Asia football is the number one sport, especially in my country and almost all levels of society like it. I used to attend a sports school, even at an early age. that's why, I prefer betting on football.

If you mean Soccer, then I'll say different people has different reason from different perspectives why they enjoy soccer, but there are also general reason why people enjoy soccer.
For some people, it's just a game that requires 22 men running around the field chasing and kicking balls for 90 minutes, and it would sound kinda boring when you explain it that way but there's really more to soccer many people don't see, I mean there's the strategy and teamwork, the excitement and emotions it stirs up amongst the fans.

 Soccer is a very simple game that can be played anywhere, and again, it doesn't really require much equipment to set the pitch, which makes it very easy and quite fun too if you ask me. Like a few person have already stated, I'll agree that soccer is the most populous game around the world with millions of audience who watch from around the world. I personally enjoy the teamwork as the athletic skills required to play the game, it's just so exciting to watch, especially when your team is playing. I've never seen people being so passionate about any other sport than they're with soccer, I see people taking it really personal when their team losses a game, and you can feel the outburst of joy when their team wins.

Football is the most cosmopolitan game in the world. The reason for is it's ease of understanding the motive and rules and easy setup for play and practice.
Football doesn't need much gear, just a ball and upto 22 people would be contended. It doesn't have a strict requirement for the field on unofficial games like futsal.
The game of football is fast paced and the gameplay are mostly around one and half hours. i.e. it ends quick. It's easier for viewers to find and follow the action.
Even a person who have never seen a game would know and start enjoying the game in a few minutes.

For me, if I must be honest, i will confess that I've never had any love for football in general until I started betting. Supposed sports I used to have great love for was wrestling, but this was before I discovered that 100 percent of the outcome in every wrestling match is already pre-determined, this realization automatically made me hate wresting.

Another type of sports which I have good natural love for is car and bike race, I love this sports possibly because I love driving and also love speed.
