News board

The importance of news and information cannot be over emphasized especially in the crypto space. With the fast growing network of Bitcoin alot of things happen which as Bitcoin supporters we would like to know from time to time.
Over time threads of many kinds have been created on this forum which served as a form of news  to forum members in general. Here is a couple of them I could  find on just the first page of the discussion board;

• El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻
• Largest crypto exchange CEO arrested! Anyone getting deja vu?
• The recent arrest of the CEO of the largest cryptocurrency exchange . . .
  

A news subboard would increase the rate at which more news updates on Bitcoin are shared in the forum.it would also organize the  forum better.
What do you think?

Inasmuch as bitcointalk is concerned, I believe that each news and information has their basic boards where it can be buttressed so creating more sub-boards again in respect of the pre-existing ones might not really be obtainable. And it it understood that any information as regards to anything that's happening around the crypto space can be achieved here unless they're information that isn't related to crytocurrencies especially bitcoin but moreover every other information that may not be bitcoin related are still covered in off-topic forum so almost everything we seek within the crypto space have been made available on this forum

There is a child board for News and you just did not know about that board.

I only see people less actively join topics in News board but they are more actively in Bitcoin Discussion main board.

The press child board is not quite active like the main discussion board although it contains some elements of news.

It is not quite active like threads in the main Bitcoin Discussion board but it is less spam.

I see many threads in Bitcoin discussion board are mega spam threads and people keep writing there without any new information, constructive ideas for the thread. They join those threads to spam and get posts for their campaigns.

Do I want to have another News board that is more spamming than the current News child board?
I don't want to have it.

I understand you're trying to make a useful impact but this forum have lasted for a decade and more and updates and/or news have been taking place if it was so important for news of such as mentioned above to have a sub-board it would have been done, because it's not too relevant or it has been covered by offtopics and other board that is why it has not been included as a sub-board of it's own.

I have been complaining about this too but it seems to be normal for most of them so I just ignored most of those post.
They don't really care about the forum but care only about their campaigns and post count, whereas contributing to this spams.
It's so unfortunate that people that feel like senior colleagues are not mature enough to speak up for what they claim to be.

I don't understand what you're want to say? do you ask a new board, do you blame people who post in an appropriate section? or do you blame the moderator for less moderation?

That means you need to use report to moderator button, so those thread which posted in an appropriate section will be moved.

They don't really care about the forum but care only about their campaigns and post count, whereas contributing to this spams.

I repeat, use report to moderator when you see an off topic or low value post.

Bitcoin Discussion is suitable for such topics, since during the day there will be one or two major events, and all the news sites transmit this news, as 99.9999% is repeated and all of them are based on one source, and even the style of writing the news is the same, so that even for large news sites, if they publish false news, all of these sites will transmit it.
