Assuming WIlfred won the governship election of Cross Rivers State, he would have been enjoying full immunity by now and would have used money to kill this case.

This Patricia hack was so painful, because Patricia was a promising company that have gained so much popularity after their sponsorship of the BBNaija. This made their use base to grow exponentially,  bringing in many celebrities and influential people into Bitcoin. Unfortunately,  this ugly incident happened and brought a bad image to cryptocurrency, confirming the fears of many critics.

Although it's not about apprehending him, can the law really take it course? To me all these dubious politicians that have always been involved in frauds and money laundry should be brought to book and face the penalty of their crimes. While I am happy with this news that this crypto organisation startup has been vindicated I am however perplexed by the prime suspect that has been arrested. Who ever the hacker was, the person is both smart and dumb at the same time. Smart because he or they were able to notice the security loophole in Patricia infrastructure and took advantage of it, dumb because they used someone who is a public figure to launder the money.

Talking about Patricia easy invest and trade, I think this is a lesson to everyone mostly the people who store their coins in this Patricia platform. Is Patricia a Nigeria exchange company? wow!!! this information is telling me that Nigerian Politicians are fully aware of cryptocurrency and they are just hiden themselves. This is very bad of him. What will they do to him after knowing that he's also a prominent citizens among themselves, this thing that happened with Patricia exchange is not what should be taken on a levity level, but the government cannot hold them alot to that because it's not against the law to operate a crypto exchange or use cryptocurrency in Nigeria, only the crime for the fraud with the exchange is what beeds a legal action for, there are many other politicians uncovered yet being into crypto, at last they will use the political powers to die down the entire case.

This Patricia matter just dey unfold every day. I saw the tweet few days ago from Patricia CEO and e no really convince me. It turns out a lot of people believed and collaborated their story of being hacked and hacked funds getting laundered by politicians forgetting that the company was excessively spending customers funds on ads and luxurious lifestyle.

Crypto is widely adopted in Nigeria. Most Nigerians are not even using exchanges that are in Nigeria, most Nigerians make use of foreign exchanges.

Secondly, if the license of the exchanges that are hacked should be revoked, most known exchanges like Binance, OKX, Kucoin and most other exchanges licences should have been revoked because most exchanges have been hacked.

Recently Poloniex and HTX (formerly known as Huobi global) were hacked. HTX was hack two times this year. Most well known exchanges that were hacked since 2020 were able to reopen after short period of time and refund their customers. I can blame Patricia because it has been long before the exchange open withdraw, and not yet to all his customers.

But I know that if truly Patricia has paid all his customers, it would be declared in the public.

I guess you missed the part of the Police report on Patricia and the said link to the politician. Why would the Nigerian Police cleared Patricia from their Investigation book for only recovering 50m? That's not even 20% of the total lost fund.

I have friends that this happened to in other platforms. No one have the evidence that a site stole their gift card. As a Nigerian, I know what I am talking about. There are people that the gift card code is sent to them by someone else, not that they buy the card directly. Did you buy the card directly and sold it, or you were sent the card?

As I read the whole news, I did not see any investigation carried out against Patricia. You can point to it in a quote.

I’m not trying to take sides but speaking from my experience as a gift card trader over some time now, I’ve noticed that most of the third party cards bought from the stores are mostly corrupted especially the steam cards and if in any case, your card gets marked as used without anyone using it, then it shouldn’t be a course for alarm as it must have been corrupted after activation without anyone actually using it and most times there are the google informative cards which can’t be redeemed by a third party and if maybe you aren’t satisfied with the response from Patricia, you can maybe track were your card was redeemed from the card providers official website.

It has already taken Patricia so long to refund their customers funds to them and I thought they were supposed to refund every penny of their customers funds to them before been cleared of any charges
