Hi all!

Ive noticed recently that more and more crypto sites are requesting KYC, and more and more restricted jurisdictions are being added to said sites Ts and Cs. This is a problem for a lot of people on this forum who like to gamble anonymously, and, perhaps use sites that are "blocked" in their home countries.

My question then is, which are the best countries that can access these sites without issues, and pass all KYC checks? I'd love to hear your opinions!

You're conflating the requirement of asking for KYC documentation with whether that is a good country to live in, which is a bit silly. It's irrelevant where you live when it comes to KYC, as it is the legal requirement of the business to collect this detail because the financial regulator of their country wants it for financial record keeping and to stop crime. You could live in the most open country in the world and if you try to play a site that has these limitations the laws of your country mean very little. Not only that, KYC is often the only mechanism that gambling sites can use to genuinely identify multiple account abuse - they often put very generous welcome offers out there for new users but that is all calculated for genuine users and not abusers who are otherwise unidentifiable.

The reason for providing kyc verification is that many times various criminal activities such as money laundering and funding of terrorist organizations are organized through gambling websites. And that's why most countries make the KYC verification term mandatory for licensing gambling websites. That's why it can be seen that most of the reputable and big casinos have verification of what happened or ask for verification in case of any big suspicious transaction. That is why you will find best countries that offer different facilities for casinos but it is difficult to avoid KYC terms.

Many online casinos are accepting my country and I have submitted documents to some online casinos and they all accept it so that makes my country one of the countries that are a candidate for your list, the casino will not list a country if they are not going to accept the documents the users from that country, or that casino will have a bad reputation, all countries where casinos accept in their lists will pass their KYC requirement provided that the documents that the user presented are genuine and true and issued from that country.
If you have doubts always read the terms of service if you cannot find the information you need, then ask the support to make sure that all your actions are based on the conditions and requirements they asked for.

Casinos want to avoid taking the risk that there are people who carry out illegal activities and use the casino for illegal activities as well, so casinos implement KYC for their members. But in which country someone can gamble comfortably and carry out KYC and pass it easily will depend on the checks carried out by the casino. And if he never does anything suspicious, he can definitely pass KYC easily, and it won't take long. Casinos can easily find out if there are large suspicious transactions, so they will ask their users to perform KYC before processing their requests. Everyone from various countries can gamble in their respective countries and carry out KYC if requested by the casino.

All these stress for what? Because you want to gamble online? I don't really get the reason for KYC in online crypto casinos, crypto it's is a decentralized currency, so what's the essence of KYC when you're using a decentralized currency on the casino, if it's a normal online casino that doesn't require the use of crypto, then it's cool, but it just don't make any sense making KYC mandatory before you can bet on crypto casinos.

This is the reason gamblers as slowly moving aware from online crypto casinos that requires KYC and very soon I bet we won't be seeing more of them and they'll be forced to change that policy.
Who told you that cryptocurrencies are decentralized? Only Bitcoin and a few others are decentralized while BTC is the only one that is entirely decentralized today. Not having any kind of information about the creator of Bitcoin and their identity makes Bitcoin the one and only true decentralized cryptocurrency. And yeah, to you, it may seem a lot of stress, but those crypto casinos have to face lots of issues. This is the reason they say that it is mandatory for people to verify KYC before they can do anything.

Doesn't matter if you are using a decentralized or centralized crypto for deposit, when you are using a centralized platform, your privacy is already compromised. And day by day they are not going to remove the KYC verification, but rather those other platforms that haven't implemented this yet, they will do it in a matter of time. If you want to bet, you need to follow their rules.

It is important for a company to do such a thing. Maybe you should do a bit more research on this.

OP, I am not an expert on the legalities and the laws behind casinos asking for user verification at all, but rather than being something about the country one connects from, as far as I understand it is more rather about the jurisdiction where the casino itself operates from, also the kind of licensing is using to keep their operations afloat.
For example, a big casino which has a considerable volume of bets and gambling is more likely to catch the attention of regulators and also more likely to need a license to stay online. The license and regulators are what require casinos to comply with the gathering of information about gamblers.
As others have already said, it is part of the effort made by developed countries to halt money laundering attempts in casinos.

So in my opinion/experience, it does not matter where you live, regulated casinos will ask for your information when they believe it is convenient to keep their platform legal.

Doesn't having US passport open up most borders? As well as it gives a huge flexibility or doing anything money related? Just pay taxes regularly and that it is. The United States perhaps have anything one would want. And this applies to gambling perfectly. Not only person can easily travel between different states and search for specific state with gambling laws (not 100% sure, but this applies to taxes), but there is always Las Vegas. There any person can find everything they could want.

I think that as someone already said, the best option is to always look for casinos that comply with the laws of your country, when looking for a crypto casino the options in relation to the type of licenses are very limited, this means that In most cases you will see licenses issued by Curacao, which is why you have to read the casino's TOS carefully in the part about the list of restricted countries to know if your country is also on that list of restricted countries or not. In the case of my country, for example, it has very good laws for gambling, the government of my country encourages the arrival of casinos in my country, a special zone was even created for casinos with tax reduction incentives so that when the casinos come , this according to the government of my country is a measure to encourage tourism and develop my country by creating more jobs and tax revenue

but my country is a third world country and has a shitty and corrupt government and thieves, so I don't even know what someone who owns a casino would see in my country, because if I were someone rich who lived in a first world country, I I would not invest in African countries where there is a dictatorship. That's why I see the measure taken by my country's government to encourage the arrival of casinos as being a very good measure, but it would need to have an honest and democratic government to attract casino owners. If you live in a country with a shitty government that bans casinos, then you shouldn't use casinos

My country can access crypto without being asked upon the completion of the KYC and I can say that our government is slowly supporting crypto, in fact they are already encouraging people to cryptocurrency. If this is the only reason then I can say my country which is the Philippines is one of the best option or country to live in if you want to gamble online plus we also have a good tourist destinations where you can spend your time whole you are playing online.
Most crypto sites and crypto casinos are like that. You can freely access them but the KYC will only surprise you by the time you made a checkout/withdrawal. This was still better though than if we are on a country like the OP have, where we can't even access the crypto sites because they are illegal.

We should only make it a habit to research first, if the crypto site is legit so that we won't lose our money, and especially our KYC because our reputation is at risk there, as someone can use or sold it and those people can use it in their illegal deeds. It's indeed that the Philippines is one of the good countries to travel or to live on. Other than what you said, the cost of living there is also cheap.
