Today, Zora unveiled on mirror that you can post on their platform without having any eth whatsoever. I consider it a big deal cause requiring money to enter kinda gatekeeps the platform.

We have learned from so many old cases that if the platform like zora might put bridge to the its platform as one of main requirement to be eligible for airdrop.
You're right if anyone may be able to post it without bridged their ethereum but will it also affect our eligibility? I meant the user who bridged ethereum may have a greater chance to be qualified for airdrop from zora in the future.

This is a good once but i kinda feel that bridging to the zora is a must make sure our wallet address to be whitelisted once snapshoot will happen but thanks for this post.

Certainly right, but if one doesn't have funds, posting something on Zora I recommend bare minimum.

Ah! I don't heed that statement. Because, many projects say so to avoid being farmed and eventually launch a token.

I think if they issue an airdrop on average, it can be seen from their network interactions, doing tasks and trying out features on their network, basically everything related to the project, because all airdrops like that use that method.

For those who want to go extra mile, can also choose to run a node for Zora, here is step by step guide [1] (I found it through one of telegram channels I'm subscribed to).

This will cost some, but potential for hefty money is huge in case they reward node runners like Celestia did.

Zora is also not under airdrop farmer's radar like others are.

Oh I didn't mean to mint mirror post, it was linked there to read Zora's latest update, that you can interact with their platform without having ETH, and I speculated that since you don't need any funds, you may want to interact with platform as its free and may make you eligible for airdrop.

You may also want run their node if you want (check prior comment) — if decentralization is on cards, governance should also be on cards.

more precisely it is possible for participants running zora nodes, if on the other hand without having to perform bridge interactions. Indeed, most people have to make a transaction to detect the wallet address. Or maybe there is another way for Zora to be the wallet chosen for the airdrop, such as connecting to Discord or social media. like aptos airdrop

Yes, this is explorer - https://explorer.zora.energy/ I tried to do this on a new address that did not have ETH and I really succeeded. Obviously, files were simply uploaded to the Zora platform, without interaction in the blockchain. But since the transaction is not displayed in explorer, it will not have any value for qualifying for airdrop, unlike the one I wrote about above.

For those wanting to run node, use ssh clients to connect and not vnc, for some reason commands were getting changed upon pasting and wasted two days trying to look for solution (I tried manual writing too, didn't work either, writing these commands was mind boggling to say the least).

Meanwhile, through ssh client, it was all smooth as butter.
