This is the strangest and stupidest scam I have ever seen. Is it possible that there are people so gullible to fall into the trap of this scam? The price of Bitcoin is known to everyone, however, greed can be the reason for some fools to fall into the trap.

As other members pointed out, there is not much that can be done about these scammers other than a tag on his profile. This mark is enough for people who are a little busy with their minds. Although I had hoped that such scammers would be banned and the forum cleaned of all of them, but this is also useless because they always come back with new names.

Newbies that don't know anything about bitcoin might fall for this especially when they are eager to invest and they don't have anyone to direct them. I don't know why the OP didn't join this forum to learn and grow his account so that he can join a signature campaign to earn something in return for his contributions, but to think that he can scam people with his cheap scam that is for dummies. This is the most foolish scam that i have come across this year.

if you are thinking about his scam threads being deleted, sad to say that will most likely not happen. looking at his trust profile, it looks like the user is a known scammer and has been tagged by users and there is also an active flag against him. let's just hope people will be smart enough to now deal with accounts that have a blaring red warning on their account.

I can't believe these type of threads aren't going to be taken down. I find that mind blowing. Hopefully no one falls for his stupid and obvious scheme.

...I have found that some users have left negative tags on profile of that scammer but still he posted that update on 30th of November which lead me to think that do people still get scammed by such scammers? If yes then how could we better guide them to be aware of such scammers? I know that awareness and education will work but it's going to be a hard thing to educate everyone.

Everything that could have been done to warn other forum participants about fraud has been done. I think everyone can read the negative reviews about this participant and draw the appropriate conclusions. Well, anyone who is too lazy to conduct an appropriate study risks losing their money.

Well, the sad thing is that this guy doesn't target us who are aware of what's the market price and value of Bitcoin. But he targets those greedy people that are new to the market and thinks that this is possible to happen that someone would just sell a lot of Bitcoin for a cheap price.
An obvious scam but whoever bites on this scam literally don't do their research diligently. So, I just hope that whoever searches on google with the keywords of cheap Bitcoin won't fall on that thread and registers an account here just to get scammed.

well, the forum does not moderate scams and it is up to the forum community to warn other poeple/members to not make any kind of transaction with scammers, but sadly there are still people falling for scams in the forum despite how obvious the scam is and the account that they are dealing with being is of negative tags from forum members.

What a complete clown. Also, I've done some digging and it seems more than obvious that he is using fresh alternate accounts to oppose his anti trust flag.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=980573

If you click ANY of the accounts that oppose him they're all beginner accounts with no posts.

I hope everyone here lives a great life.
