Not only you and me, most people have this thought and are very wary of what's happening in the market. But one thing I see is that bitcoin has increased in price and continues to increase in our doubts. This scenario is entirely possible because bitcoin always tends to go against the crowd's thinking. While people wait for the correction to accumulate more bitcoin, bitcoin will not decrease but continue to increase, making everyone regretful. I wouldn't rule out this scenario.

Recently the price of Bitcoin has risen very drastically and it seems that this positive trend tends to be stronger considering that 2024 is getting closer and most people believe that 2024 is a bullish year. Even though recently there have been frequent small-scale price declines, this is not a big problem because price corrections are a normal matter. and I'm sure in December we will see a higher price spike and in this month $45k will be reached.

$40k is very close to breaking this week. Getting straight to the point, Bitcoin's December closing price was $43k. The correction will not be too deep. I mean, if there is a price correction in December, it won't go below $37k.

No matter what the price of bitcoin would be by the end of this year, one thing is for sure bitcoin touched 39K for the very first time this year in the month of December, so we can say that December was the peak month for the bitcoin price. It may retrace a bit not because of any bad fundamentals but due to the holiday season and year end.

It seems like we have been pumping for the last three months and the reason could be the Bitcoin halving coming up or it can be the Bitcoin ETP spot probable approval news being spread in the market. Whatever the case, 2024 & 2025 will be the bullish years before we see the next bear market.

We are going to start another fun of bitcoin price guess by next year. I hope people will choose all-time-high next year.

Most people chose $30000 to $40000 this year to be the highest price of bitcoin. Let us see if bitcoin will break $40000 before the end of this year.

If I should predict this month price, honestly I do not know.

Not yet ending mate , as the month of December is only getting started. This thread is also just posted yesterday, so it's too early to say that people should re-visit it . For now, we are already here visiting this thread, to see if what is in store here and for us because the OP and others here are once again on, with their predictions, even though the possibility of the price to go against it is always there.

BTC price guess are always there and we don't need to wait for another chapter of our lives (e.g after a new day, week, etc..) before we do it. And it's not surprising anymore that almost all are always aiming for a new ATH because this can also mean that they will earn huge, once it is achieved.

Though I don't say that the price wouldn't go any higher after this point, I strongly feel that there is going to be a correction, and if the price manages to go over $40k first, then it will most likely correct itself back somewhere below $35k before the end of the year, and then we might see it recovering again after the new year starts. The numbers are out, there are more members seeing that the price will still continue to go up and so, majority are bullish.

I really thought that the correction would happen sooner, $38,000 could be the resistance and then we go back to $32,000. Unfortunately, my prediction didn't happen, and we continue to go and shoot up to $39,000++ and so if we touch that round number of $40,000, I don't know, it's a mental barrier to break, but if we are successful, for me, there will be no correction in the horizon as everyone is very bullish this December.

Investors or holders wouldn't sell their bitcoins just for the holidays - that's a crazy idea. But following the holiday season at the end of the year - bitcoin could be slightly corrected due to increased selling among traders who need money. I'm not projecting a huge drop - but it's still possible to see $38K or $37K this December.

Bitcoin's positive trend has basically been going on since December last year until now – not just now. Look back and make a judgment based on facts - it's a good idea to make good assumptions about current market conditions. $40K to $45K is the predicted price for the end of the year - and right now it's just too close to be true.

if the news about ETF approval is out then there will be no correction its simple, should also remember back then bitcoin was also experiencing many rally without correction, its always any scenario possible with the rally in cryptocurrency.
im quite optimistic though this time around since the news that was about to come out is not some measly news but ETF approval being pushed by big investment company i would think it will have higher chance of success but then again anything can happen.
correction as to my knowledge isn't necessarily always need to appear in every rally, it could be rally all day long and not have any corrections.

Buy the rumor sell the truth, there is no guarantee the ETFs approval news will help bitcoin fly higher and we will enter the bull season earlier than expected. What is happening is the impact of the ETF news, so I think that if the ETF news is accepted, the market will adjust more than continue to increase in price.

Every situation is possible and we should always have a backup plan instead of focusing on just one thought. Bitcoin has increased quite a lot and I also feel worried but no one knows what will happen. Many people predict it will be correct but what if it doesn't correct and continues to increase?

There are 2 voters that seems to be not trusting the market of does not understand what is the question or what is happening and status of the market.
Correction may happen but will never bring bad effect to that sentiment and yes this will maintain the momentum at least whole month of December .
lets just trust the market and our coins , as Bitcoin will continue increase its price as we are approaching the halving .

So BTC looks like it's really starting to pick up steam and at this rate, it could reach 45k - 46k resistance in a week or so...  Here's what I'm looking at.  I know it wouldn't be the same as what some of you guys are looking at but I think it'll be somewhat similar.

BTC hasn't gone above the red bar since March last year.  Going over that and staying above it would be a big boost for the market.  But that goes without saying.  Lol.

I honestly don't know what to ask for the poll but I have a gut feeling some of you guys might be starting to think that a correction here is healthy which I agree with...  But who knows, it could go on with another leg up as BTC usually does when it has the momentum.

I am prepared for what will be the trend this year or even the next one , and yes the waiting will happen in 2024 whole year  so lets watch out and lets enjoy the movement that we have done this whole year .

Added vote for this December poll , so we are now having  26 against 2 votes and hope that those
2 will change their mind in the next coming months or will continues feel regret when the market hit the top once again sooner.

The last time I wrote on this thread, I anticipated 40k and Bitcoin has successfully done it and we are expecting that it should form a strong support at 40k to proceed from there.

This has already accomplished and it has been heavily anticipated for a very long time and it has happened now. I do not think that bitcoin will exceed 45k this year.

This is happening and based on the long term plan when bitcoin was at 15k this year. Bitcoin is wonderful.

December used to have a red phase. People tend to withdraw bitcoin for festivals, it will not be all green throughout.

The start of this month is looking great and everyone thinking of a more positive trend ahead but for me, I expect short corrections (still on the positive side). We can't ignore the volatility of the market and I was sure that we were aware of the situation when the pumps came, it followed with corrections. A lot of factors that could affect the market trend,
 - some will take advantage of the situation and sell their Bitcoin, FUDs, etc.


We can hope that the price will remain $40k but at least staying above $35,000 if there are corrections is still overwhelming.

We can all imagine different scenarios to adapt to the market, all speculation is considered baseless because only the price line shows it all, and now that bitcoin's price increases continue, it will cause fear for those who are waiting for the right time to accumulate more. For me, investing should not be too dependent on things happening outside, because I understand that the current period of volatility will not be comparable to the period when bitcoin was in a bull cycle, when it was entirely possible to see bitcoin reach a new ATH. And if we compare current prices, it is always worth talking about profits, it's just that each person's patience is enough to withstand its fluctuations.

I voted on another positive trend for the month. However, the contrarian in me wants to vote that we might have a correction for this month. Also, we cannot be quite certain how much more speculators will enter bitcoin because it is the end of the year. Institional funds and investment firms usually sell assets to put the profit on record and they can receive their bonuses.

Unless Blockrock is buying in preparation for another pump after the approval of their ETF, I would not be shocked if bitcoin dumps under $40k.

Did the voting like you said out of sentiment and I will continue to stick to that, as always remaining positive, even if the market undergoes any form of correction let it go on and happen I still feel that the market is gonna be green again in due time. It can be that the correction won't last as it is there to gear up the bull run. It is still in between may be or may not so if a person wants to invest do you think it is advisable to wait for the correction as most believe that there will be a correction soon?
Can be of a truth that most people will sell of their Bitcoin in order to facilitate their spending in this festive season but sincerely it is the wrong way of doing things and only those who understands verily will continue to hold till we finally move to a new ATH

Looks like the majority is right and we are up for the month as soon as the month started. That's an awesome thing, the month basically showed the world that unless something major happens, we are going to end up with a lot of issue in the end and should be careful about it one way or another. I get that it may not be all that easy to handle, but it is definitely an issue for one way or another, it should be an important thing. I get that it may not be simple, but it is getting to a point where it is going to just keep on going higher and higher all this month.

Some people doubt that and I can understand why they do doubt it, but I feel like it is going to be quite fine, it should be something that will be expected. The feeling of "it is going to keep going up" is something that seeds doubt into peoples minds, you worry if you are wrong and if it goes down or not, but the reality is that I believe that we are going to end up being decent eventually for sure.
