I don't think that's possible, just like you said, all projects must have development over time, if there is no development then investors will leave the project, I remember the top 10 cmc list at that time, and LTC entered there then there was a project named Waltonchain, Aeternity, now these 2 projects have disappeared, while LTC is still there at 19.
This indicates that if there is no progress, the project will die.

the case with SEC and XRP winning, the effect should be taking place right now, I don't think such news could truly make the coin itself reach all time high because there are certainly many factors, I remember back then when XRP was reaching ATH it'd go as far as overtaking ethereum position and right now it seemed table have turned and I doubt XRP could even repeat that same feat again considering ethereum domination is too immense these days despite just being an altcoin but this coin is being used primarily for L2 as the coin for paying gas fee and many more, heck even right now the fee are starting to climb up again meaning that there are simply just more and more people starting to use this coin again, can't lie with the utility presented.

indeed investing in XRP prove to be good at bullrun but right now should also remember that its already up 70% for last year, maybe it could grow more but definitely there are other coin thats better getting released. but i doubt those new coin could even beat XRP market capitalization though, they just have the potentials.

Since the SEC news, we have not heard much from Xrp. There are no paths, updates, technical development or anything. Therefore, other than the large market capacity due to the large quantity offered, there is no compelling reason to use Xrp, and therefore the price will not rise, or at least if it does rise, there are other options that will rise significantly larger.

Since the SEC news, we have not heard much from Xrp. There are no paths, updates, technical development or anything. One reason is to be utilized it as one of the payment methods as btc right now is having high transaction fees.
However, it depends on how active is the team in promoting this alt into this purpose.
If the team will not be visible with their plans and all, it won't rise up on its own.
But if you are on the side of investment, I guess, this one is much better over most meme projects.
At least with xrp, you know it won't easily disappear from the market, it would take time before it will lose its value.

Good for them winning SEC, but XRP isn't worth it. Not as speculative investment or a banking system of a future. It might have made you rich if you bought their ico and holded. I mean, let's be real, this isn't going to be adopted by governments. Pilot programs don't really mean a thing and that's the one thing that xrp army trying to sell us as their break trough. They already needed to start to fix it and build privacy layer which won't be enough for regulators or companies either. If they totally won't decentralize it somehow and build it from the ground up it doesn't really serve any purpose.

It used to have a purpose as a tool to transfer value between exchanges, and that was a weak one. Now it doesn't have even that.

Doubt it, the only 'big' thing that happened to XRP recently is their case, and it's not all good. Their current price is $0.6 to surpass $3.4 meaning their price should be 6x of current price And XRP are currently in a down trend, it happened when bitcoin is having an uptrend. So, it's not good for XRP, it might get better when Bitcoin finally have significant bullish movement next time, but to get to $3.4 is still very difficult even in that situation.

XRP is long term project and investing in this rate could bring a good result in the future. SEC has sues many token but the XRP price is more important. I remember when the case initiated all big exchanges delisted the XRP token. The price fells below 0.2$. These days was tough for XRP team but the way they manage to devolp is rated highly. Team working to win the full case which is not easy but maybe they success in future. I am expecting more than 5$ price in the future.

I just keep avoiding xrp since 2017 cause i think xrp won't up again cause in my observation,i haven't found any real perpose that will inspire people to by it more in Future. Not bringing any update technology like others topcoin but keep doing manipulation from by development team. That's why 2021 bull run, I couldn't even pump 50% in compared to 2017. XRP should have created a new all-time high. After its success with the SEC and the development they have done we can see mass adoption of XRP's technology just like chainlink. They have institution-grade services that they are offering that can be used to develop a new payment network which i think will be lucrative in the upcoming cycle. Also XRP community is massive and a large portion of the XRP token is controlled by the team. They also have a massive treasury.

It all depends on bitcoins price.  If bitcoin goes to $1million would xrp breaking its previous all time high be considered a success.  Since most altcoins are paired against bitcoin for trading then given the same supply and demand their fiat value inherently goes up.  I don't understand why people talk fiat value on altcoins and never mention the opportunity costs of not being in on bitcoin during that same time.

Give me one good reason to believe this, XRP couldn't break it's previous ATH even during the last bull run so what's so special this time? Don't see much from development fronts and the biggest drawback is it's unlimited supply and even if it crosses the previous ATH it would take only few mins for the dev team to dump more tokens into market and bring the price down. I think we need to move on from this coin as there are lot better alternatives available in the market.

I did not noticed that skyrocket thing ,but what I see that time is Ripple climbed 30% and then dumped back to the original price before the case winning so in that part you are not correct,  so hitting ATH for XRP seems to be far from happening any time soon  and actually I was thinking if that price will be taken back forever as ripple is facing too much Issue from SEC and this will hinder any significant increase like that.

What kind of victory are you talking about if the SEC lawsuit against Ripple continues? And I think the SEC will not lose this case and will be able to convince the court to pay a fine that exceeds $700 million. We will be able to see the pump of the XRP coin only if the judge refuses to satisfy the SEC claims.
