What picture, do you miss the road to your gallery? lol. Just kidding.You are just JNr-member, you can't add a picture.
 
Once you rank up to Full member, you can start adding custom pictures to your profile, which is called Avatar. Just a little patient and you will get there.

Firstly op it's called avatar and signatures
Secondly your rank is not enough to apply one on your profile.you would have to be at least a full member or a copper member to upload a signature

Yeah it does, but blame it on the old era newbies that spammed the forum with garbage posts that made theymos place some restrictions on several ranks. But if you keep learning here in the forum you should be able to earn 100 merits to rank up to full member so that you can finally wear the avatar that you’re looking for.

Wrong, copper membership does not make you eligible to wear an avatar. Just look at copper membership the same way you’ll look at a member rank both of them can’t wear avatar and also can’t add color to their signature the only difference with Jnr member is the fact that they can add links and also the number of characters that’s allowed.

Op. This isn't Facebook or twitter, and it's called an avatar not your profile picture. why exactly are you so eager to wear an Avatar? your rank isn't yet eligible to put one on, so be patient and rank up to full member so you can put an avatar on your account.

Just as@ cantsay has said, the cooper membership doesn't give you eligibility to wear an Avatar. You are only going to have same advantage as a member account, since you will be able to post images upon purchasing

There's a process here in the forum, as you're increasing in merit and activity, so you'll be ranking up too and being eligible for certain benefits and privileges. So first thing first focus on ranking up to full member rank, then you'll get into a campaign, and wear there avatar, or picture as you want. You'll have to try and do quality posts, so members can merit you to reach full member.

But your account is a Jr.member which is not eligible to wear an avatar. You need at least to be a full member to have that privilege.

It really sucks but for those who are eager to test everything out, because when I was new here I never give a thought to wearing a picture or avatar. Actually, I don't even give a thought to Avatar. And search section doesn't work like that, I am not a regular user of the search tab.

But whenever I have to find a topic I simply go on a browser search engine i.e. Google and there I write the topic I want to find out and then right bitcoin talk in front of my question. And hit enter (don't forget to hit enter because it is the basic function hehe).

You will be given relevant topics according to your keywords.

This is not a social media platform mate where you can set your profile picture; it is a forum where users stay anonymous for security reasons that’s why I think it is not possible for everyone to reveal his/her identity.

I don’t think newbie can set any picture (Avatar). You need to become at least full member in the forum before you will be grant the opportunity to set a picture in form of avatar.

Mate, Don't faster than your shadow. I think it is too early to add a picture to your profile, and once again point of clarification: this is not what'sup that you may set a profile picture, and it's called an avatar not a picture, and before engaging in that stage, you must first accumulate some merits and activities in order to rank up to full member.

Nevertheless, Just keep learning and exercising patience, and more experience will arrive after you rank up to full member. Not that I'm a senior or full member; I'm still a single member like you, so bear with me. Everything in life is a gradual process, we can also achieve the privilege as well.

You have to get ranked first, it is in the rules of this forum that to wear an avatar you have to become a full member first, and to become one you have to get around 100 merits and I think 120 activities. I checked other replies and it seems that many members had already replied the same thing and you also confirmed that you know the answer now. So it would be better for you to lock this thread because if this thread served the purpose for which it was made then the best practice is to lock the thread.

while it's true that theymos implemented restrictions on lower ranks because of excessive spam, the reason for Avatar to be restricted for lower ranks was because of a hack that happened in the past, If I remember correctly, hackers found a way to hack the forum when uploading avatar.

The Op is a new member, so I won’t blame him for that. I am sure with time, the Op will get used to the terms that are being used on the forum here. Op is using the terms that is been used on social media in forums, but this is not a social media. I hope the OP is not trying to post his picture on the forum here, the forum is not a place where you should post your picture. Let’s make everything anonymous, you don’t have to reveal your identity. Most of the avatars people are wearing are promoting a company, a few of them decide to design their own avatar and upload it, they do decide to make any design of their choice and upload it, but not their real picture.

No Mia, I don't think you're right about this.
Copper Membership doesn't allow you to use an avatar, it only allows you to post images on the forum and wear a text signature, nothing else.
At least a Full Member rank above allows them to use an avatar on their profile.

OP you may not know that profile picture can't be kept unless you are a minimum full member. If you are a full member, you can set your picture on your profile. Right now I see you can try junior member you can become full member. Once you get full membership you can set picture, on your profile thanks.

The reason is that, you are still a Jr member in the forum which is not allow for such categories of members in the forum to wear any picture on their profile until they get to full member before they can begin to wear any kind of picture on their profile. Don't allow profile picture to make you feel you are not doing the right thing in the forum, because profile picture will not increase your quality post and it will not increase you from Jr member to legendary member which you need to understand so that you will focus to some things that will make you to start developing some quality post in the forum. I will advice you to concentrate on your crypto study so that it will be easy for you to wear picture on your profile when you rank up to full member.

this is just another way of saying you are new to the forum without actually using ye word literally.

Just like the normal goggle search, the search button here only shows you post that have already been created in the forum that relate to what you are searching for. If you're searching for how to upload a profile picture, you would not see it because you used the wrong word, that's profile picture instead of avatar or signature.

Also note that the context of profile picture in the normal social media world doesn't really apply that much in this forum. While you can use your normal picture on the social media platforms you should have been used to, that is not what is obtainable here. In this place, you are required to use an avatar or signature which is more like being a brand ambassador to the brand you are putting on.

From the status of your question, I understand that you are quite new to this forum. Which is why you are so ignorant on this topic, and maybe you have no idea about bitcoin forums. If you want to add picture on your profile then you must go to full member only then you can add picture. So if you continue to qualify for photo editing and go up to full membership, your profile picture will be visible.

I don't think this forum has a profile picture; the only things I know about it are the avatar and signature. If this were the case, I believe everyone would use their own image on the forum, but in terms of avatars and signatures, those with full member rank and the ability to participate in forum campaigns would use them. You are still a junior member, buddy, and you still have a ways to go before you can wear an avatar and signature. Additionally, the way you speak gives the impression that you are only here to promote your signature because many new users frequently ask questions about how to learn about bitcoin, and you are asking about avatars. 

Although attending a campaign in a forum is common, I don't think it's something you should focus on right now as a newbie. You can't participate in any campaign if you don't know anything about forums, and you can't participate in any campaign if you don't know anything about bitcoin. As you can see, you have to learn before you start anything in life. If you can relax and take things one step at a time, you will find it easier to understand everything in the forum.

Be patient friend, you are still a Junior member, your current rank does not meet the requirements to put an Avatar on your profile. Continue collecting the number of merits until reach 100, when your number of activities is sufficient and other requirements such as the number of merits have been achieved, you will be promoted to Full member rank. Well, that's when you can decorate profile with the special image you choose. Keep enjoying the process, sooner or later you will be able to decorate your profile with an avatar.

Lolz you are very far from what you are requesting. Just like a baby of 6 months trying to start walking. It's a gradual process even we the members can't even do that. Even if we try to update the avater it wouldn't still appear, because we are not up to full member yet. so just be patient.

I just checked your profile and the account was registered since 2022 which is over a year now. The point is, judging from the time you have spent so far on this forum, you should have known a little bit about the forum rules and requirements to perform some actions. Forget the fact that you are still newbie, you don't have enough merits yet but you are not longer a newbie as far as you have spent over a year in this platform. You shouldn't be asking this if you dedicate time to read around in the forum. The qoute below has already recommended some thread for you that'll clear your doubt. If you are so eager to put on an avatar, then you should also be more active on the forum, and you can rank up more quickly to be able to get to the required rank (full member position) before you can put on an avatar. Just like a few members have said, lower ranks were once allowed to set their desired avatar, but many of them misused the opportunity, which led to newbies, junior members, and members being disabled from setting up profile pictures. It's assumed that before you grow to the full member position, you should have become more familiar with the forum rules.

Newbies, jr. members and member ranks cannot set an avatar. If you want to be able to set or upload an avatar then you should increase your rank to full member. You just need to be active on the forum and contribute then  you'll surely earn lots of merits which is one of the requirements needed to rank up.  By posting here in the forum will increase your activity points and post count. Don't worry about the post count as it is not required to rank up your account.

Maybe the Op sees people with different avatars, and the Op doesn't like the way his space is empty, so the Op is interested in uploading avatar also, but the Op doesn't know that junior members are not allowed to upload avatars on the forum here. The minimum rank that can upload avatars is full member, but if the Op has any signatures that he will want to display, then junior members are allowed to upload signatures.

And the OP should know that the majority of the people uploading Avatar are participating in signature campaigns, some of them that are not in any signature campaigns are always leaving it empty. Since you are not in any signature campaign, why planing to upload any Avatar? If you have anything unique that you will try to post, then it's better to rank up your account to full member, and before you can rank up your account, you have to be active on the forum and make a positive impact on the forum.

Smile, you already show that you are new in the forum, and you can see that many people are correcting you with what you said, well is not a profile picture, it’s called avatar and signature, and this is not the time you are going to wear it, presently now you are in the member level and until you get to the level of the full member you can wear and you can’t just wear it without not participating in any campaigns you have to be approved by a campaign you applied for before you can wear because if you wear it without not being approved it means you are wasting your time. Don’t worry mate, gradually you will reach the level but what you need to do now is settle down and focus on somethings you need to learn and rank up to a level you want.
