I don't know how many of them stick to the resolution taken for the year. In my view people who have the mind to stick to it were successful. A resolution is something that needs self control as well as makes us to be dedicated on something else. Every year gambling is included to the resolution, but the outcome of the resolution used to be the same every year. Mind says just wager few dollars that has been provided as bonus or for some reason. Further it might get lost and the gambling for the year continues.

There is always a plan to be able to start a new page better. but related to gambling at first I did not have a plan related to gambling activities that I had done so far with the reason because the gambling I did was just for fun. But thanks to the OP's post, it became a warning to me that although this activity is for fun, if it is not done "organized" and not in good self-control then it will still cause a loss. And a wise person is someone who can evaluate what they have experienced. And in 2023 related to gambling activities, my gambling activities this year are quite bad because I still often behave carelessly when gambling, causing significant losses. and my next plan, I will try that I will only play gambling only 4 times a month or 1 time every week. And every month I will try to reduce my spending on gambling even less.

I never thought about including gambling in my New Year resolution, in fact, I never made any resolution, its just that I always promised myself to be a better person every year and I also never had any problems with gambling, so I thought there was no need to make one new resolution just for my gambling in the next year.

I don't make resolutions because they make things even harder for me. Also, I've always found these resolutions to be a feat of slackers and people who don't really want to change anything because this allows them to wait a whole year before they do anything. They keep telling people that they'll change but it's going to be their new year's resolution.... but it's June! Then when the day finally comes they do rounds telling everyone how they're going to do this or that this year. If you want to do it just do it! Today is as good of a day as any.

Gambling or not or speaking about other things, i dont really also make out some resolution because there are things which are really that would be hardly be stopped or doesnt really need for some changes and in the fact
that year by year, there would really be some activities or hobbies which you might really be adding up on next year unexpectedly. This is why just like on what you had said that making some resolutions is something that not necessary for me but if ever i do see something which did make out some bad effects in my life for this year like hobbies, behavior then i might really be changing it up but it is really that unlikely.

For those typical gamblers who are really that making resolutions that they wont really be doing gambling again, then i doubt that they would really be able to do so specially if this thing had become that
your hobby or activity then quitting on point is never been that simple. For some other things then we might be able to quit up easily but for those things that we've been

A good gamblers have a budget and I believe that they gamble with ideas and in every of the year they have to be accountable to themselves to know how much they have gain through gambling and how much they have lose through gambling and those people is the people who is dependable with gambling so they always have a budget in gambling, so therefore I believe that gamblers who budget for next year gambling when it has not entered next year is a gambling beneficiary, at least we have to be beneficiary of gambling before we can make a budget of next year in gambling

And definitely, gambling should not be a constrain to anyone, we've seen people losing big money and then some winning big with huge parlay and lottery. So as long as you are gambling responsibly, you will be fine without writing it as a practice that we have known for.

Uhmm I think gambling is a natural human behaviour since living in this planet is nothing like gambling. Even those who does not go to the casinos or play in an online casinos has made a purchase to a lottery ticket. Some may have placed a bet over something they expect or never expected, sometimes the bet was not in a monetary form. So, as long as you are not a compulsive gambler, gambling isn't really a big problem that you need to get rid of. However, those compulsive ones will most probably not going to include gambling as part of his new year's resolution because he have considered it normal.

People that are battling with gambling addiction will remain and nothing will change, it's just like a regular day of a an alcoholic person, they don't have any plans about the new year or any resolution, they will go there like nothing happened and will gamble the hell out of their life, if they win they are happy and if they lose, they are probably sad for that moment but will go back the next day to play again without any plan or strategy on how to win that match, it's part of them.

With or without new resolutions of gambling, as gambler it's good to have a new winning mentality and maybe a change in the wager so that you will not be conne in one way of winning. There could be other wonderful opportunities you are not looking into and you don't even know if may be they are the type that will give you a jackpot. Wonderful opportunities might be there that we are not looking into until we give them a try.

Resolutions for the new year are usually positive things. So, I don't know whether gambling is included in it or not. because actually gambling will tend to be negative for some people. Personally, this might not be so bad. But at least, as much as possible in the new year, if it is related to gambling, I think I will be able to learn gambling game skills more calmly, so that at least, I will be better at getting profits, not continuing to lose. At least, of course every customer wants bigger profits than this and also smaller losses. But all of that actually won't happen without effort, hard work and careful consideration on our part. However, there is nothing specific that I hope for and aim for in gambling in next year's resolution. just hope to be more self-controlled when gambling, and not depend on gambling which causes addiction.

Personally I don't remember doing such things, but would advise the addicts to add responsible gambling under the lists of their new year resolution. it'll be sad to continue experiencing hard times as a gambler in another year. Saving more money still covers for money management in gambling. Although, before the months gets to march, most people already forget about what they've written about the new year. Life is more like gambling. Nobody predicts how it'll play out. We plan, but situations, conditions, and activities changes our plans. I include it but I say it in a all encompassing manner so that it can be generalize.

For example, I phrase my new year's resolution that I will manage my expenses responsibly and discipline myself regarding my life choices. These statements can be applied to gambling habits as they involve discipline and responsibility of expenses.

For everyone's new year's resolution, I do recommend that people should not wait until new year to start. They can definitely start their resolution as early as today. It should not be perfect but it should start as soon as possible!

It just so hilarious how people will put gambling to their new year plan, I think some people still don't understand what it means to gamble they keep see it as one way of getting financial support from and it is just a game for fun that if you win you make money out of it, and if you place gambling that way you won't have any problem even with addiction. And new year plans are suppose to be like a yearly budget of things you want archive mostly in term of finance so because every end of the year their should be a plan map drawn of how you want to execute your plans. People that annoy me the most are does people that are addicted, they are so consistent that they just want to make billions out of gambling with always a very hope of winning and at the end of the day they start selling their property.

Actually, it's not funny because it depends on each person's plans for spending next year and maybe they already have the necessary preparations. However, they should not focus on gambling and include it in their future plans because it can have an impact on their finances and also their mental health. If they don't realize that including gambling in their plans for the next year could endanger their finances, they could suffer a lot of losses. They should start changing their mindset to not think of gambling as a way to make money but only as entertainment and getting pleasure. Me too although I have a more no New Year's resolution approach rather than only just about gambling, I feel like those resolutions are bound to be unfulfilled or broken at the first month or two of the New Year so I just stopped doing it altogether and just go for what I want to do, no more promising myself that I would do this, I just do it. Gambling would still probably a thing for me but as soon as my career improves and I make more money and can't afford to spend more time for leisure, I'll probably get less and less plays gambling but who cares? I might've subconsciously created a resolution that I would limit if not stop my gambling altogether and I just don't know it yet.

Yes, it's better if we replace it with a resolution approach that is more likely to enable us to achieve it next year. We can only use gambling as a way to get fun and entertainment so we must be able to look for other activities that provide more benefits. Maybe we can focus more attention on making money from other places so that we can achieve our life goals. Gambling is and will remain an entertainment and not a place to make money so we must remember that we should not gamble for too long, especially if we want to reduce our gambling activities in the next year. And at least we must be able to exercise better self-control so that we don't experience gambling addiction. Maybe this year we have gambled more and have spent quite a lot of money so next year, we should reduce our gambling activities.

Yeah, that's right. Some don't write it but they do have something in mind. I do. I will change something but it's not about gambling. The lazy part of me is what I want to change the most. But it doesn't need to be written, it's all up to each individual if they want to change something theirself. As long as they have the will to try it then I think it can be done.
Last year, I thought of myself as lazier than now. I want to take it to another level and stop the laziness. Work my ass out and see to it that the future of my kids will be bright. Gambling actually is the culprit of me being lazy, damn Plinko is so satisfying to watch and sometimes I forget my work because of it. Maybe what I want to change now is less gambling in casino games, and focus on sports because you don't really need to watch your bet, just the game and while doing it I can still work.

Many people have New Year resolution plans so that in the future when they start new year they can become better person in all things such as attitude, behavior, economy, work or even career.
Of course, each person planning will be different and cannot possibly be the same because each person has their own goals and thinks about what is best for them.

Personally, in every New Year resolution, the ones that must be included are the economy, financial management and also sources of income, so gambling has never been on my planning list.
But regarding the economy and financial management, of course it will be related to gambling because I will definitely put more pressure on possibly smaller budget so that I can stay on the safe path as expected.

I think that what the addicted people are doing, (over doing an activity) is not what you call a goal, even though they will say that this is what they like because at the end, it still looks inappropriate and I think a goal should only be positive.

Yes, gambling is always included in my New Year resolution. I perceive gambling as an investment hence I always hope for my investment to yield good returns. I have never gambled for the fun of it as most writers have opined because I don't see anything fun in losing money. Each year I set up a target on what level of winning I desire and so far this year I am yet to clock the target but interestingly as at last year, I surpassed my target.

No, because I feel it's not necessary to make any resolutions next year, but at least I can cut less of my spending on gambling next year and not think too much that everything has to be in accordance with the arrangements that I have to note down and follow, the point is to just play When do I want to play and stop? Playing gambling as usual is controlled with a certain budget limit. That's correct. Personally, New Year's Resolution is just another day in the calendar; making such promises to myself for the upcoming year feels like beating a dead horse. We humans, myself included, rarely keep up with those. I personally cannot recall honoring a promise I made at the end of the year, and it's merely simple ones like starting an activity or taking better care of myself. Usually, the New Year's Resolution effect wears off after a few days, and we're too unmotivated to keep up with it.

The summary towards the end of the year usually goes like this:

Thus, why should I include something like gambling? I'm neither addicted nor an often-used user; I don't see any reason to be concerned about occasional use.

If you are a gambling addict you can work towards stopping that in the coming new year but I don't have this problem, some will even pray for luck in this coming new year, who knows what will await them? Nothing beats getting lucky in a new year, but I don't want such though, gambling is just the last thing I do to waste away some time.

My expectations from gambling doesn't exceed turning two figures in dollars into three figures and if the best happens I don't mind it, I am going to remain a good gambler who don't have too high expectations for gambling.

My new year resolution is going to be about having good health and a more blessed home, and lastly a wonderful result from my Bitcoin and crypto portfolio combined, I want the next bull market to be the best one yet, it may happen since the ETFs is already for sale now and only awaiting approval, gambling isn't one of them, it's something I have lower expectations from.
