Is Gala still worth it?

I have been buying Gala since early 2022 - was one of my first buys.

There has been a lot of FUD around it last few months with the founders being against each other which saw the price fall all the way down to $0.013 in October.

I bought a bit at the bottom but feel I missed an opportunity not buying more as it has now gone up over 100% in the last month.

Many sold due to the FUD but I have carried on holding and bought a bit at the bottom which helped reduce my average at least.

I am just wondering what we can expect from Gala in the next few years. The current price is $0.03 and I am hoping it can get back to $0.50 in the bull run is that realistic?

This is little difficult to say what will happen with Gala token. But how it performed in the last month it is showing that it has made a good comeback and it can grow itself more. Like we have some bad news regarding Gala token.

But it's team is trying much to improve the token and they are struggling to make it more perfect for the users. I think you should hold. Or you can even book profit now and can wait for a dip again. By the way this is you personal decision which you will make but I will suggest that you should hold more till the Bitcoin ETF if Bitcoin will grow so Gala will also go up. So you can wait for it. To be frank when there is any disagreements between founders then you need to be very mindful with your holdings especially when the price is starting to dump on holders, that is one thing about altcoin i don't always like them due to disagreement between founders/team members and to whatever news that may possibly surface one of them may decides to back off from the project by dumping his holding and for the projects to be revived back it would take only the grace of Bull run otherwise those projects that faces similar difficulties never rise again that was their ends. Main while altcoin you to be vigilant since falling inevitable.

despite it seeing some hard times, it is now continuously increasing in value but despite the increase in value it can still not go back to its initial high prices which allows us to think that it might have a hard time reaching its ath there’s a solid possibility that it might reach 0.5 considering its history but i don’t think it will happen in the next year or so

This is just my personal opinion but after I looked at the market and it is currently at -96% of ATH, and as far as I know coins with minus 90% more will find it difficult to come back, but the possibility is still there, because Solana at the time of the FTX collapse fell to 8 $, and if you look at ATH 259$ at that time it was -95%, but now Solana is rising and people are starting to buy it and have managed to recover from the ftx problem.
if the gala is a good project then it will survive.

It's bit risky to go with an Altcoin when their founders are in loggerheads with each other's, But there were various news and blogs predicting the new ATH for Gala ad Cosmos but all these news made to ma let post their sudden pump. I don't think I would take the risk of being associated with any project when it's founders don't get along as there is always a risk of one of them fleeing or dumping the tokens and pull another FTX like scenario. I would suggest to be extra cautious and have a stop loss placed at 20% dump.

It is still quite realistic if you expect the GALA token to rise to $0.5 because the previous ATH price was $0.7 but that is not a conclusion because for altcoins it is still very difficult to predict whether the token can ATH again or not.

Regarding some FUD that happens in the project does happen, sometimes with differences in views on developing the project it will always hinder in the process of them doing the task, because one of their founders has left maybe it will be their solution to do new innovations again, but I'm not sure about the GALA token about future increases unless the altcoin season suddenly comes then it will go up.

Yes, I was about to point that out for the ops, because at that point anything can happen to the project and as long as the crisis lasts it will keep affecting the value and usability of that token,  if I were to be an investor in this project,  I will look out for an exit opportunities to secure my capital instead of buying more.

Alot of time,  most of these tokens are just gambling and at that, we should not take them too seriously and if there is any crack in the management,  it may lead to the collapse of the project eventually.

Let expect Assume that the 100% price recovery was as a result of some positive progress in settling the team issues,  or a trap just to pump the price and dump it on the investor's face,  holding a token since 2022 is a long enough time.

Despite the internal clashes between two team members, the project is still holding its price very well. Though i am not that confident right now that i was about it a few months ago, if the issue is resolved and investors come back, it can still do very well for being one of the top gaming projects throughout the crypto industry. If someone is asking about the possibility of it touching its previous ATH then I want to say i am not too sure about it because it has already lost its value significantly from its ATH.

Personally not confident enough this coin gonna gain its value back, even this months around it can only raise not that much, I guess some coin are just that difficult to increase where the other are gaining so much value increase these days, GALA, ICP and some others coin that haven't gained any rally, i don't know why, despite the fact that they have losing their value more than 90% at some point but hardly increase, maybe its just means that they are abandoned coin, even with all the updates and events it didn't even leave any fluctuation towards the value.
I just think that at this point investing in these coins seemed like waste so much time honestly and better to switch over into other coin at this point.
I guess i also needs to change around my portfolio for better coin thats more promising so not too much wasting time around these coins.

This Gala was most of the games right? and if you're seeing them doing good then only you can figure that out if it's still worth it to hold or keep on buying them.

So a quick check on its chart, if you anticipate that there's going to be another rise on it for the upcoming bull run and altcoin season, that will be your call.

As long as Bitcoin pumps altcoins will also pump, Gala has been pumping and may reach its ATH by next year. For now, it is trading at a price of $0.029 and I think you will gain a substantial amount of profit if you continue to hold. Bitcoin has been going upwards and after halving it will break its own ATH in 2021. That will also impact the altcoin market as it is impacting now, it is risky according to me to accumulate more of this coin.

Everything will be realistic if BTC has gone up. I think what the OP has to do is just keep buying and when it goes up, just wait because the pump you want from the coin will slowly come by itself. So. Calm down and just keep accumulating if you really love these coins and have already bought them at the top.

Perhaps OP also has his own research with GALA, so let everything go according to the plan you expect with this crypto. To me, GALA has its own special things, but it also comes with a fair amount of hype. Looking back at the previous price increase, the ATH level is a threshold where I don't expect similar things to repeat, but with this market, anything can happen. And all speculation is just a hypothesis until everything happens. Sometimes that trust is only based on unclear buying behavior, ask yourself,  What made you buy it since the beginning of 2022? And in fact, you have gone through a long period of market decline. In this market, patience is always rewarded, but that does not mean that rule will make you satisfied

If yes I think it may not acertain the price of $0.50 soon. because total supply is very high. With 50billion what of coin and the demand for is is not high.  Though the market cap is huge but it still needs to increase more, because high demand of coin increases the potential or value of the coin.

I can still remember this project back when I was active at NFT games. I used to have fun playing their free game Townstar but when bots/scripts started to conquer the game, that's when I stopped. Then, it's a long wait for their next game Mirandus and I think that was one of the mistakes their developers made. It's too long and could be a reason for their investors to start to find new projects that would make their investments grow faster.
I sold my Gala coins back when it was at their peak at $0.5 (I think $0.8 was the highest) and after that, I never went back again. I am still joined in their Discord group but I cannot find a reason to go back to investing with them.
If there's a dispute with their developers then you might want to think about selling but this is a big project that has been running for a long time and I think you are also at a loss if you sell now. It's up to you brother and I hope you can find some reasons to continue on keeping that asset.

You are absolutely right that it is very challenging to predict the future price of any crypto currency including Bitcoin. However, in the bull run of 2021 GALA was one of the leading coins in gaming sector, reaching all time high (ATH) at $0.84, but unfortunately ever since it has been in bearish phase, and even now when market is in mini bull it didn't demonstrate any impressive performance and trading around $0.029.

The future performance of GALA coin in the next bull run will entirely depend on overall trend in gaming sector, and there is a possibility that it could break its previous ATH, provided its team continues making efforts to introduce new features that can attract investors in this coin.

Gala is potential coin ; Game trend is not far in this bull run which is the best time for Gala to rise in Gamifi trend period. Gala is also in my buying list because the price is down much . Gala is still doing partnership with many big gaming platforms..  I view some tweet that Gala is going to bring GTA6; Don't know it is true or not but at current price I think it is still a worthy investment. 0.5$ is not big but we have to lower the target.. I think 0.3$ is best target for selling and securing profit.

I guess you should be patient. Gala is a potentially good coin imo. But you never can tell.
