help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025

I have my share of doubt with ORDI with so many people opposing the ordinal inscription, meanwhile solana is good, but the rest are kinda old coin only ethereum that stands out probably the rest Im not really sure.
i would settle with newer coin though L2 L1 thats okay as long as its new coin that also have hypes around it, I think these new coin are better for investment long term until 2025 because as you know they are still in their early stage of growth and if they can grow really good they might become the second matic or something which mean significant increase in market capitalization as well as significant increase in price.
with coin like BNB i have even more doubts because the changing of CEO there can be some drastic decision that might oppose the previous CEO decision like for example minimizing utility for the BNB token. its just possible with the new CEO also the reason why i don't really favour exchange token, if the exchange itself tries to do something to it they can do it easily and the price will drastically change.

I don't think it will be much different from the current L2, they will only develop a few differences, there must be a project that can change a problem, or have a new solution that will become the next boom.

What kind of project should it be? and as i see almost everyone of them are just promising this and that but ending nothing but just to make money from investors .but if we can share ideas to what would be the best solution then we must bring this to the concerned forum.

Sometimes researching new altcoins it is very difficult to detect if there will be any major significance coming to the project, but in my mind just counting on the bull season arriving to be full support for the altcoin in the market. hope the discovery of altcoin becomes a treasure with a 100x increase in the bull run season if only 10x is already good.

what top 1-5 coins of each of the sectors would you recommend ?  which have a good background and solid fundamentals ? would you go for 1-2 top coins with big martket cap and 2-3 with lower marketcap ?

I think it will go down before the halving but I don't predict how deep the decline will be, just a correction. like the most recommendations, namely choosing the top 1-5 or 1-10 which can be recommendations too. but regarding the right time, in my opinion, it is too late, it has already entered the middle price, therefore it is considered too late because the lowest price when the bears came has already passed

Well, i hate to admit it but you do have a solid point on which about ETH. It is really just that one thing that i dont really like with this on that very high fees or simply out of this world kind of fee on which i did really tend to avoid this coin at all cost but somewhat i've ended up on holding it for long term due to that one thing which is on "smart contracts" and this is something revolutionary and cant really be denied that it is one of the main reason on why recognition and adoption is really there. It wont really be sitting #2 in the entire market for nothing or next to Bitcoin for so long. This is why it isnt really that shocking
that there would really be those demand that would really be supporting into it.

The thing i do believe on why people do tend to look up for those altcoins is usually into those low caps since they do know that it could bring out a fortune to them
once they do able to hit up the right project which this is something that we are really that trying to achieve.

To drop in price is normal and all coins can experience that but not all can recover. These are the ones that we must avoid. These coins are either a scam or have weak fundamentals. They can still be high risk if the investor doesn't have a good knowledge about them and then they are also investing with huge amounts of money.

I'm not familiar to some of the altcoins that you have listed, so I think they are new. They can also be old but lacks in something for them to not get popular, so I would be very cautious about them. Some are popular but it does not mean they are a good candidate.

I agree with what you say, most altcoins are not reliable when it comes to long-term investments because they are highly volatile and unpredictable with their prices and movements. You invest in an altcoin today thinking it will give you good returns, and you find out that the coin has rug pulled or the project went bankrupt, etc. I say this because we have seen such things happening in the past and people have lost millions of dollars in such incidents.

So, when someone asks me about which altcoins are the best for the next couple of years, I tell them that I don't recommend any, I may name ETH as it's one of the oldest and most trusted cryptocurrencies, but apart from that, there is none that I believe will stay around for that long even if there are, it's still risky.

Categories that you mentioned are all trend-based in my opinion, which means that some investors in the community hype them and that is the reason why some of the projects among these categories are making it in the list and gaining good momentum, however, for how long that momentum will last, it's unknown. That's why, I believe one shouldn't invest in trend-based coins or tokens because the gains will be limited.

One more thing, it is still not very late to invest in certain meme coins. When you look at some altcoins, they are moving rapidly even when Bitcoin is a bit stable, look at BNB, it keeps going up despite Bitcoin going sideways on certain days.

Also it would really be just that a normal approach you do have to do or consider on doing so and just like on what you've said that not every recommendations would really be getting on the same results because

BNB already faced SEC in the court and it’s true that BNB isn’t believable to like ETH, only a altcoins which is ETH many people’s believe it blindly because it's a king of altcoins, after BTC you can't deny ETH is the most promising coin on the market. Right, it’s pretty difficult to believe all of top 10 ranking coins, if we know that about a few top altcoins was SCAM or collapsed as like LUNA. But people’s' are going to invest with different coins to earn good profits as short term investment.
