So lately, no be new thing say the gas fee for any bitcoin transaction don increase wela and this one don push people to looking out for alternative ways to reducing this fees with people even opting to be paid in other means. But my interest here no be for bitcoin transaction oh, na the charges when our local banks de take from us on a regular.

Almost every morning when I go wake up I go de see this charge of 6.9 naira and no be just for morning oh, sometimes I go just see some alert when be say na small money and I no de too reason am but if you look at our frequent this money de comot, e fit amount to something big oh.

I never de talk of the one when if you de receive money, them fit send you 3k make you go check your balance de see 2800 and those other charges when de follow de the ussd transaction we de do.

This has been normalized by the Nigeria Banks since the 80s and the Central Bank of Nigeria is not doing anything against this atrocities commercial banks are doing to their customers but I don't  see where this is close to the fee Bitcoin is asking. 6 Naira na small thing for where Bitcoin dy because na in Naira and it is way more cheaper than Bitcoin. You don Imagine say you want to send 200,000 thousand naira to another bank and your bank wan charge you 5,000 naira, you no go vex live the bank, that's almost what you might be charge using bitcoin to send from one wallet to another wallet.

To avoid this bank palava, kindly look for OPay and other Micro banks that are free and they don't charge you for using ATM cards, unlike the commercial banks that charge you for everything in this country, you should try and unsubscribe from banks notification to your phone and emails, and stop using their ATM card and machine to avoid the maintenance fee if you want to be using the banks for large transaction, this is how you can avoid these banks charges.

I no say banks dey very wicked when it comes to charges sometimes but when you compare am to the bitcoin transaction fees, you go still prefer this small small charges daily because even after one month of the charges, e no go still reach 1K wey dem go don charge you in total. But with bitcoin transaction as fees don rise, even though $50 you wan transfer and na $5 dem wan charge you wey small be dat as the market take be now, e no go better make bank charge you 1K to transact 500K out of your bank sef?
Banks dey charge unnecessarily o, but their rate still good pass bitcoin transaction fees own for now using our traditional bank.

I notice say dat charges wey dem dey comot if dem send money to you na for charges wey you don owe before and you never deposit any money to clear dem, so even before the money come the balance fit don dey read negative balance, so if dat one enter dem go just comot am automatically. Although some people own fit be another case sha and maybe them dey deliberately comot am as you claim. I am only speaking for my own bank that I use and not on a general note.

Technically speaking, bitcoin no they use gas fee, u fit just call am fee or your refer to am as SATs, nah altcoins Nia they make use of gas fee.

The charges way some banks they charge really they too much eh they raise concern because most of the charges no really worth am and them no they get solid explanation to why them charge person for some kind debit.

If you wan they free from all this there rubbish debiting I go advise you use more of micro finance bank than this commercial banks na them they kill person with charges even with there poor service way them dy provide.

Despite the fee of bitcoin is high it can still be reduced by using an accelerator, I don't think their is a problem using Bitcoin.  The bank charges can't be compare to fee in bitcoin transaction. The bank charge their customers for fee which you can't even  give account of what could be the reason for charge without any transaction.  The fees banks collect is very high , they do not just collect charges based on just transaction but they collect different fees like maintainance fee which you can't what exactly they are maintaining.

I don't even see the comparison here. Fiat and Bitcoin has there big differences. Bitcoin high charge started few months ago and it won't be like this forever. Banks has been charging excessively every since banks came into existence and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

As you can see, na first bank I dey use and this nah the kind of charge dem dey collect from me on every transaction way I dey do.
Just like yesterday nai me and my brother dey talk this matter about this high transaction fees from bank, although, no be every bank fit dey charge that kind of charge.

No be lie, di way wey our banks de take nack us charges no get mate at all, you go see bank alert for your phone, you go come happy say money don enter, only to check am and na bank charge you go see, dem no go even bother to send you alert for some of them, you no go even notice the charges unless say na very small amount you get for your balance. But you no still fit to compere am to Bitcoin high transaction fees, especially as mempool never dicongest, transactions de take days to confirm if you choose to use small transaction fees. Banks no fit to charge you that kind transaction fees, infact banks de more convenient for transaction matters pass Bitcoin, dem de faster and cheaper.
