Do you know if it is possible to access ChatGPT anonymously?  Or any other similar GPT model.  I have tried signing up via tor but it blocks me.  If there is such a model or service, I am looking to pay for it with crypto.

Use a throwaway email for signing up and then use any VPN to mask your IP then you successfully hidden your real IP address.

I recommend you to use Nord VPN after reviewing a lot of comments from the Reddit platforms for similar queries.

I do not want to simply hide my IP address from OpenAI.  I want to go completely anonymous using tor browser and its filters.  I cannot use a VPN for that purpose.   

Maybe there is a service which rents ChatGPT credits and which lets the anonymous clients access a custom prompt via OpenAI's API?

Have you tried deep.ai ? I haven't used it via TOR but it doesn't require registration if you want to use the free version.

Just tried it.  Does not work via tor.  The website loads, but once I click "Go", it does not do anything.

I don't think there is any service that rents GPT usage but usually chatgpt works well via TOR browser too and there is no need to usu any special methods to access open ai via TOR browser, probably you can try reinstalling TOR browser and let's see if it works.

It has the free version, so usually we are the product and that is why they are blocking TOR access.

Well, you're right.

That doesn't make sense at all since you're still required to provide all of the details of the CC company that you're going to use for paying.

How about exploring with other AI websites that have the same feature as chatgpt and probably they have this feature, I don't know. Do the searching, friend.

Well this is some bad news for people who like to use ChatGpt. The NY Times newspaper is now suing Microsoft and OpenAI and filed a fedral lawsuit against it.
It is accusing ChatGpt of stealing Billions of dollars worth of work from its journalists. The newspaper and the companies did talk about this already but now NY Times is going to take them to court.
