That one don be Normal thing  For my country Naija. we dey always take advantage of any problem wey the economy dey face. Just like during the scacity of momey, you no see wetting happened to banks? The money wey CBN bring make them shear people from different banks the bank managers keep the money, dey shear am among POS Marchants. E  come make the naira dey scars that time. we go go bank to collect money na problem. Highest Dem fit give you na 3k. Dem dey sell the note to only POS people. This na no tell you say the curruption dey everywhere because if financial institution no ft maintain there dignity by making everything equalibrum, that is to tell you say if the common man do desame I no go too blame them.

the government wey we dey look up to don fail us naim they cause all this things. had it been the government dey produce public transportation with better price tag of transportation fee before them they put all this law e for better. But Dem dey put law without providing proffer solution to it. If you know the cost of 1 keke and how the youth dey manage to make money from am, you go know say e no easy for them too.  No be say I dey support them, but I dey talk base on putting myself in their shoes, you go also know wetting dey make them do those things. Me I bellieve say wetting go cause that price hyke na that ban wey Dem place on tryciclis. And anywhere such thing they, e be like a forbidden zone, and anybody wey dey run am dey at risk and the price of the risk them take naim be the price increase.

Dis wan no be something of surprise for dis country again, many of us don witness dis tin for other part of the country. The tin just dey like demand and supply, how the bitcoin functions wey dey lead to rise and fall in price depending on the way people need am and vice versa.

For situations like dis, na strict regulations government suppose put in place for dis people because without dat regulations, everybody go just dey put any price wey dem like and e go really affect the people wey dey live for dat region. That could be an opportunity in the sight of the transportation guys and for them it's there opportunity to move the market prices upward at a particular time. But as it is an opportunity for the transportation guys , it will not be to the travelers or commuters since as a passenger you're always looking for what's favourable to you and within your budget.

This is where the government is supposed to come in, to ensure there is a proper checkmate of the rates and that such rates are standardised and monitored by the related regulatory bodies including that of private car owners. The same issue is what we face with commodities, because there's an increase in the exchange rate and fuel subsidy removal, prices of some commodities have skyrocketed and still increasing by the day and no government body is taking a leadership role towards salvaging the situation for the benefit of the average and poor Nigerians. We are indeed the architects of our own problems.

How was the policy of the law restricting means of mobilities suppstto be necessary or contributing to the good of the societies knowing that people are still out there that is to be convied back home or their respectable places with the mentioned conveyable means Keke (motor bike) even at their awareness that there are some areas motorcycles (Bikes) are restricted and not even the cars that running along some of the axis and yet the government ignorantly makes the situations hard for the masses on such notes.

I don't blame those Keke drivers for over charges of the transportation fees by the nights because they are operating in services of going against the laws of the authorities and orders.
So they have to charge the passengers higher on a high risk violating the last order. And they are believed to have some money saved aside for bribery of caught. We all knows how corrupted the country is and also, the risk of their lives and their Keke has them the reasons for such a high charge fees. This is not something that they are taking chances by over charging for their transportation services. @ OP, atleast you denoted it that they don't change such a high about of the nights during the day.

Normal the billing no suppose be the same
You have to first understand that working at night is riskier than working during the day, particularly in this country.Do you know the number of bike and taxi drivers that have gone missing while working at night?  I have no doubt that you won't feel at ease strolling at night either and not that I'm happy with the prices some of them requir but there is nothing we can do about it.

To be sincere we Nigeria's we always put all the blame on our gov't which is not always right because we self are to be blamed at times. There are many things which we do most especially about this uncontrol price of a thing. na we dea kill each other sometimes. Abeg this money racing dea much if Una no forget if you do good you go see good.

When we get opportunity for naija everybody they become thief, everybody will like to use the opportunity and make money, all this things na from our governments e take start, because when we vote them finish immediately they get to that seat all they will be thinking is to steal money they don't care about us anymore, now you want to blame the bus driver for increasing their fees because they have stop Keke driving in the night, i did not blame them all it is their turn, for this country God just dey favor everybody when it's their turn let them use it, no be say the opportunity go last forever nothing should be new to you in this country, if there's no transport money to dey spend if it's not necessary for you to going out in the night, i think you should stop it for now to avoid spending money anyhow.

Firstly, op you should know that there's no humanity anymore in the world. Almost all humans have lost the touch of a feeling of humanity in them, we have all bind our conscience so bond that the conscience have died to repelling us from doing immoral and inhumane things and actions towards fellow human.

I keep on telling people that in this country the poor are the problem of the poor even before the rich politicians that we abuse and blame for our sufferings and economical harshness we face in our  society. It's only when humans stop taking advantage of situations in an inhumane and without conscience that's when live can get better as we wish it to be.

We all know and  remember the issue of cash scarcity that happened early this year... Imagine how Nigerians were suffering fellow Nigerians, I don't want to even mention about  POS operators you all know the rest stories.

I Dey familiar with this situation from a time and it’s not only when these no movement within a time range Dey imposed, even when it rains in the evenings and people are in a hurry to get home, you will find drivers monetizing the situation with a demand and supply scale.
If na the curfew situation, I no go too blame the transport agents because, both themselves and you are breaking a law to be out in times where you’ve been remanded to be indoors as a form of regulation. In the events that your found outside, the transport agent is likely to be more punished than you the passengers. In most cases, these passengers will just leave the driver to carry his/her cross.

In the case where e Dey due to the weather, Omo, the focus should be in the number of turns you can do but no, these guys no Dey reason that one. Na less turns and more profit be their focus thereby, allowing the population to suffer through exploitation. Na there the thing spoil. The funny truth be say, what goes around comes around. Na Bayelsa State this thing happened. Na because of change of #50 Aboki man used knife stabbed the Ijaw boy to dead at the middle of this year. The boy just came from Abuja and and he was paying #50 a drop at Abuja so when he came to Yenagoa, according him, before he was stabbed to dead and when the argument was going on, the place he entered the Keke was not even reached the placed he entered the Keke at Abuja. And the Aboki said he would not give him the change so, they argued till Aboki brought out the knife from the Keke and stabbed him to dead. So with that anger the Ijaw youth burnt down the Keke instant and all the Abokis at the area ran away. And the governor heard the news so curfew was used to ban the Keke driving for Night so taxes took over the night movement.

And according to taxi drivers the way Keke used to drink fuel is not the same way for Keke so they have to charge high to meet up the expenses. Because where Keke is using 2Ltrs of fuel the taxi can use 5 ltrs of fuel therefore if they charge the same with Keke then they would drive at lost. And that is why they are charging higher in the night.
