What do you think about Solana tokens? Are they worth it?

Several coins that did well this season got mentioned which I believe is kind of seem like it due to the season we are in right, and already have some like (Eth and Link), but this coin, JTO has gotten my attention not just the coin alone but the massive airdrop and some ongoing giveaways is what is attracting me to the coin. Aside from that, the features behind the project as well fascinates me. What do you guys think about this project? Do you think it will be good for a long-term holding or is it just the hype around it that is making the coin feel this important.

You know what makes me confused is that the coin came in has an airdrop, so I can't pinpoint if it is worth to be an alt or not. Unlike other coins I know they started as presale or just launched in exchanges (like Binance, Bybit and the rest) I could easily just know whether or not if this coin would yield something tangible in the long run. Because they don't have any hype, I can't say the same for JTO. What do you all think?

Maybe if are solely interested about airdrops for using Solana, then, just maybe. But otherwise it' a weird question. Like a question that are erc20 or Bep20 tokens worth it? Obviously most of them are not, just like most of SOL tokens are not. You are just trying to ride with the trend and use blanket for everything sol related. Some of them have made me money. But not because they are sol. But because i bought early and sold when they peaked. It might have totally gone to different route, and i would have just lost money.

This token JTO is not looking long term project and current hype is just due to Solona trend. When Solona trend will over or start dulling, Jto will extremely start dumping. SOL projects are performing well now and JTO is first best project which listed in big exchanges recently. All airdrop token already distributed to the winner wallet and there is no bad news so might be best investment fot short term I. E two or three months.

Solana is a central and dead currency, and all the noise that is being raised around it at the present time aims to pump its value, either through announcements about any quick profits that will come from Adrop, or that there are investment opportunities, all of which are temporary solutions that may make the price rise within a week or a month, but the long-term outcome is that the price of this currency continues. Declining due to it being central and the presence of many alternatives that offer lower fees.

You need to check that not all of them are going to be worth it. Because it is like that ethereum during its early stage but we do not know if they will be right just because of the hype. Be sure that you have done your DYOR before you commit into any sol tokens and just because they are all pumping, it will be permanent but no not.

Yeah, I see what you mean and to be frank, I do that a lot and with this airdrop I think you're making sense with this hype here.
 Probably that must be the reason behind this JTO pump. Then looking at MUBI another coin in SoL ecosystem, I have seen how it is growing organically due to its features. So, I think when a coin comes in not just an airdrop, it makes much sense when it pumps

Yeah, I'm already looking into other coins that are listed. I can see the difference. people don't joke with their real like they do with free money. Coins like ZERO and MUBI are something I might look into as a long-term

i would instead resort to investing into solana than the token I mean yes there might be some worth it to hold token thats inside solana blockchain like JTO and maybe JUP in the upcoming future but to be honest, such coin aren't really long lasting to be invested but its good for those with relatively smaller capital that want the profit faster to invest in those two but I would personally wait until the hypes surrounding them to subside first to see the real value of the coin then start investing.
i do agree that its like the initial stage of ethereum when there's trend about tokenization every token are being released there regardless of quality resulting in many people losing money because so many get fomo'd into investing in some random coin that honestly exist for the sake of money grabbing so anyone investing should also remember this history.
always invest in moderate even if many token in sol showing good sign of increasing who know if this trend ended along the way but with good token with strong fundamental we can just wait it out even if our trades and investment went wrong.

Solana is not a new project in the market, if you can do your research to find out how popular the project are in the community and many investors have achieved a lot of income from that project in the past. With the look of the market price now, it show that those that will invest in Solana will have every reason to celebrate themselves when the price increase higher to satisfy their investors before the end of next year. Ethereum and Solana are good project that has caused long term investors and short term investors a huge amount of money from the projects and they still believe in that projects in this bearish season to invest more so that they can receive more when the price hit higher.

There's been a lot of talk about Solana, and some believe it could outperform Ethereum in this bull run if Ethereum doesn't address its gas issues. Personally, I don't see why gas fees should be the downfall of ETH. Ethereum is already a solid investment token. I'm not dismissing the possibility of other blockchains taking its place, and I'm not claiming to be an expert on the matter. I suggest DYOR!
Anyways, having been in the Solana ecosystem for a while, it seems like a good place for short-term gains.

Dear friend this is the Crypto Market and there is anything can happen. The coin just catch the attention of people by its hype. Like we can see that Binance also listed this coin in innovation zone.
If you want to invest in this coin so I will recommend make more research about this coin. About its team. How it is developing and what is the purpose of this coin. And what are the plan of this project in future.
These are some points which you should keep in mind before investing in it.

That's right, I agree with your opinion. In the crypto world, anything can happen. No one can predict for sure that the market will go down or up, therefore we have to do our own research before entering the world of crypto currency. Avoid buying or investing but you don't know. what you invest

This seems to be go with the flow as the popularity of Solana those days are indeed climbing all the records so for this Hype will come to those connected to Solana Name .

I remember when EOS bullied back in 2017-2018 that so many projects have connected but now look where they are? so try to invest only when you think there is a perfect timing.

I’m not a big fan of Solana but the support behind it is strong. I wish I had stacked some and staked it when it was below $10, but I don’t really have any use for SOL so I don’t own any. It seems like most crypto newcomers end up buying Solana, so I can’t criticize those who buy in. As far as shitcoins go, Solana’s performance has been impressive.

I haven't invested in Solana Coin till now. But I have heard many people investing in this coin and many people getting profit from this coin. As far as I know it has been almost four years since Solana coin was launched in the market and it is a very well known coin in the market. I see Solana Coin price at $84 at the end of 2023. At today's market price of Solana at $133, that's really high. I think this coin will be good for long term investment. Hopefully Solana can show better performance in bull run later this year.

Of course it's worth it Solana tokens have the potential to rise in the future because many have built on this network and many have switched to this network because of the fast network and other features and Solana has proven that within 12 months it has managed to return to its prime. and now Solana has become a token that is being looked at by the crypto community. That's my view on Solana. Correction if im  wrong

Altcoins in the Solana ecosystem are currently in a period of hype. So it is not surprising that the increase has been so impressive. Following its parent, Solana. But hype always lasts temporarily. And as time goes by everything will end. Holding for the long term may not be the right decision. But if the project offers a very promising roadmap then it might be worth holding for the medium term until the bull run comes. It's just that I prefer to hold the parent directly (Sol) rather than the coins on the network itself.

Correct, SOLANA was all time high 260$ back in 2021 and this time who's investors bought this coin and they lost big amount of dollars, and i was also investors it at 120$ and i sold it only around 30$ as far as i can remember. So, it’s true that hype is not for long time, and you see after 2 years now going it’s another hype, it’s current price is 131$. So, need to DYOR before invest in any altcoins not only SOL.
