Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season

I'm surprise that only few have voted on the poll on, "spending less" this holiday.

Come on guys! This is a holiday season, we are suppose to have more fun, and as a gambler, we cannot forget betting more so we will entertain more. I mean, more bets, more fun, that should be our motto.

BTW, we can replace the word "spending"  to "gambling", as using spending doesn't imply we have a chance of doubling our money.

Me neither, not because of money issues to be fair, I do not really have that much money anyway, this month I got some help from my family because I had literally zero money left, I wouldn't be able to survive if they weren't helping me and thank god for them, yes it feels terrible as a grown man to get help from the parents, but I had no other choice, I had to get some money, I was forced to do that or I wouldn't have money to buy food.

But that's not the issue why I gamble less, I am already not rich, I gamble very little normally as well, if I really wanted to, I would have gotten 50 bucks more and just kept gambling, that's not it, during this period I am super busy, so it means that I do not really have any time to gamble at all, I just have to end up gambling normally when I get some more time.

In my case, as I only do sports betting, so I spend little time at the casino, but even so, in this December the football games haven't stopped, at least that's what has happened with the big league games, they've been playing Even during this Christmas and New Year period, that's why I continue to place sports bets during this period if I have the funds and time. because there are times when the games in the entire round are not interesting games, they are games in which the odd value and the risk do not compensate me. If people look at gambling as a way to make money, then when December arrives, that person will not be focused on Christmas and New Year and their holidays, they will be focused on playing a lot. Time will go on and the wheel will always turn, maybe now is the time when you are unlucky with your fate or that means now you are experiencing a  decline in life, especially in terms of financial and financial insufficiency. This was the year end,So many of us have good money to spend on the holidays.If you are the gambler want to spend money on gambling site,this will be the better option.But from the vote,it seems many gamblers like to keep the money for the new year expenses.Holding money for the future was the essentials one,but if we have the chance to multiple money for the future we should ready to take the risk.Because the gambling was based on the risk taking and risk management to make the big money in the gambling site.

Another reason why I'm not filling this holiday season with more gambling. If we do more gambling activities than usual, it is feared that this will become a bad habit. Because the longer we play gambling, the more we will feel at home there. But for our own good, it would be better in this season we play as usual. Like me who only plays once a week, then no matter the holiday season arrives, I will only gamble once a week. its not just the christmas that made me not spend more on casinos but because i'm looking forward to the bull market next year. i have to sacrifice some of the stuff that i want to buy.

i was up to renovate my kitchen and move it to the back of our house but i was thinking of the bull run which i have to make more money and just postponed it for now and also i'm becoming a prepper already after watching some wars and inflation going on.

Yes, I am going to spend more money on casino this holiday season. I have been looking forward to this time since the past 2 months. I am have a little high school reunion with 4 of my best buddies and their spoused. We found that they hotel we'd be staying in has a casino. So, we would be playing slots, and I'll be at the table watching them play poker. This is on me. I am spending a slightly higher but it has been already budgeted. This my situation.

I have read some of the people posts in this thread and most of them prefer to use less money to gamble even though they get a bonus at the end of this year and I personally will definitely do the same thing, namely use less money to gamble because there are still many needs what I have to fulfill, going on holiday is definitely my main goal because where the children are on holiday from school and spending time with family is more useful than spending a lot of money on gambling where we will actually lose the bonus and not be able to get any profits even though we are losing the same thing money but it is better to spend it on having fun with the family rather than having fun alone for gambling.

It's terrific that you do so. Spending time with family is always a good use. It's only wasteful when we spend too much money gambling. When we have a family, family expenses are always the top priority.
If you're single, you might spend much money at the casinos during these holidays. It will be interesting to use that money to bet on gambling. The end of the month every year is what everybody is waiting for throughout the year, because this is the time you get your Christmas bonus and other bonuses like 13th month pay from other countries, because of the huge money coming in this holiday.

Why add more? this is the only time of the year that you have additional funds why not enjoy playing more time with more funds if you get lucky you're holiday season will be merrier and prosperous.

Why spend less? This is the time of the year that there's a lot of spending and you have to buy a lot of gifts for your loved ones so I don't want to spend more on gambling I don't want to face this holiday losing money.

Since the start of December, I wasn't able to gamble as usual due to my schedule. December means peak season at my work, have to do extra work to earn extra money, and I have to do holiday preparations as well. I can also say that I spend more on buying gifts, and this is the only time when I spend a lot of time with my family and other relatives. It would be a waste if I spend my time focusing on gambling, because of our schedule, we can only have time to see each other during this season. I guess, no one wants to miss these happy moments with their family.

we can't really expect people to do what's best for their family as they have their own approach on this matter. there's no problem to splurge on gambling if you are financially capable but if not, better think twice of how much you can spend here because it is you and your family who will suffer of your actions. no one else will be responsible but yourself about the aftermath of your actions.

on my end, i guess we all learned our lessons during the pandemic period. just spend what you can really afford. it means, you are only touching your extra extra funds as much as possible. give yourself a room to move around when it comes to your funds. so you won't regret when you are caught in an unexpected situation.

hence, it means, i am not spending much in casinos these days. i will still play but not to the point of chasing my losses. i usually have that route whenever i am on the losing side. i tried to recover my losses, at least half of it. but more often, it usually ended up bad for my bankroll.

Sometimes you can spend a sufficient amount on gifts for your family, it will not necessarily be very large, but the gifts will be very good. On the contrary, you can buy very expensive gifts, but it will not be what the family members wanted. I say this because we don't necessarily have to spend most of our money for this. Yes, I agree with you. Playing gambling is only about spending the money we can afford. Apart from that, we don't need to use more money. It's not because it's a holiday that it makes us spend more money, it's not like that because it means we will spend money beyond what we can afford.

And regarding the bonuses we receive, the bonus money is better used to buy gifts for family members or save for our needs in the future. That would be better because we make preparations for our lives in the future rather than just using it for gambling, especially since we already have a budget for gambling that we can afford.

My gambling finances will still be usual regardless of the season. Simply, I will just gamble whenever I feel it.

Whatever the budget, whatever I have as my extra money and anything, it's always my practice to just gamble if I want to gamble at that time. Maybe it's not the budget for gambling that will be affected this Holiday season but rather my time. Since this month is full of busy activities, I might spend less time gambling now and actually, it's happening currently.

IMO, it's not a happy season to spend more only on gambling, but well, it depends on you and your family preferences. Your kids might want to go for gaming, a picnic, or something more intriguing, and you can only spend more on gambling when you actually have enough morning money to spend on the needs that matter more. I have some budgets that are filled and more important bills to settle; gambling has only a small budget, and family got some more percentage, so also the next-year budget has been put in place.

it makes more sense to buy something that is more useful for the family and can feel pleasure together without having to be selfish in feeling pleasure yourself.
I mean if a gambler gets a bonus and uses the bonus to gamble on the grounds that holidays only come once a year but in the end he will only feel the sensation of pleasure alone because he is the only one gambling while the family doesn't know about this and the family also needs fun together. even though gambling sometimes brings good luck, this effort is not very good because if you use a larger budget, if you are not lucky, it will trigger high emotions and even the family can become an outlet for their emotions because they lose all the money.

and the best way is just as you said, it's better to use the bonus money to buy something that the family can enjoy together and actually the family doesn't need a lot of money to be happy but being able to gather together during the holidays is like happiness that doesn't need to be paid for with money. so that the bonus money you get can be saved for future savings or for your child's future.
