What's wrong by gambling for fun? It is okay if you assume gambling is for earning money but you can't blame people who gamble for fun. 
Each person gambles with his own purpose, we can't expect all people to have the same ways in gambling.

Anyway, we are playing gambling in online sites. Many people don't show their gambling activities. So how you can conclude that no gamblers who gamble for fun? Even if you didn't meet someone who gamble for fun, it doesn't mean no one gamble for fun.

I’m saying it so we can see that the average (even more than the average) gambler gambles for money. The percent of those who gamble for money is so much that it is possible to neglect those who gamble for fun when discussing or writing about it.

We can't deny that we also have the purpose to earn money from gambling. But how percentage the gamblers who have the main purpose for money, is something difficult to know. It is not easy to get the data for online gamblers, especially for the main purpose of them in gambling. However, I think we mostly gamble for both entertainment and money. Just assume most people do the same way since it is very reasonable!
