As far as I remember, the first batch was already out of stock, that's why I asked what's the difference (e.g. material, design)

Design and inside of the cards should be exactly the same, and only difference in all four card series is the different quotes from Satoshi ^{(written above in OP)}.
To be perfectly honest, my idea was to have small color change on the backside with logo, to easily differentiate between different card quotes, but guys from Satochip didn't follow my suggestion about this.

I wanted to pick up one of these cards, but the fees were around $20 in bitcoin. I could wait for the fees to drop or, if possible, pay via Lightning to you?

Fees are crazy this days.
I think Satochip is using Coinbase Commerce for processing all cryptocurrency payments, and this is what I found on their website:

We currently support ApeCoin, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DAI, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, SHIBA INU, Tether and USD Coin.
We also support MATIC, USD Coin, and Wrapped Ether (WETH) on Polygon.

If you don't have any LTC and other altcoins, maybe you can contact Tibu or someone else from Satochip support and ask them to pay directly with Lightning.
I think guys from Satochip should use btcpayserver.org in future for BTC and LN payments.

A few weeks ago, I was one of the people who ordered the previous series of cards. However, I received an email stating that for an unknown reason, I was able to "backorder" the card which was already sold out. Later, I received an offer to receive the first one of the new batch.

Finally, the card has been delivered, and I am grateful for it. I liked it so much and wanted to thank you for this wonderful card.

After carefully analyzing the situation, we realized where the problem lay. In fact, you ordered cards and made a payment in Bitcoin, which took several hours to be confirmed due to network congestion. Meanwhile, the cards were "reserved" but not paid for. The stock was not reduced accordingly and in the meantime, someone paid for the same cards by VISA. These were the last cards, hence the backorder.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
