Maybe GameFi? I know they’ve been there the whole time but for some reason I think they could bring about the next hype. And now we can see how much these AI have been integrated around almost everything, what if they brought it to GameFi? Or what if the next hype will be the direct merging of AI and Crypto? Just speculation but it’s normally about new emergence in technology.

I just wounder why banks are becoming much interested this days on crypto currencies. Perhaps they are gradually seeing crypto currency feature or brighter side of it. They are even going to the extent of even wanting to own there own coin which has always been there desire. But nevertheless if they can succeed from there own coin, they will gradually adopt to the general crypto currency. Because all they need is just t OK have a total control of their own coin.

Privacy coins won't become the next big trend until more people start to use peer-to-peer exchanges. Many centralized exchanges have delisted Monero because they want to be compliant with anti-money laundering regulation. As a result, its price and adoption have remained stagnant for a while. When something like Tornado Cash became popular, government sanctions greatly diminished its usage. Now we have wallets and mining pools that censor activity which is not OFAC compliant. The next trend in crypto is likely to be something which regulators have a positive or neutral view of.

It can be difficult to accept you had dogecoin and you sold it before the hype that followed it, but there was no way to know that things will happen in such fashion, so do not regret it, since the path you have chosen to take now is very risky, and while investing in a bunch of coins that are trending could bring you profits faster than any other strategy you may create, the same strategy can also bring you losses faster than what you can reasonably deal with.

It is not just you there were plenty like you who had huge amounts of Dogecoin at one time and they sold it before it mooned. It is hard to understand which coin will trend next and get the hype. I remember it all started with a trend on tiktok about Dogecoin and then one tweet by Elon Musk everything changed. No one expected a memecoin to pump so much and now we have so many of them on different blockchains. The hype is still going on and every day a new meme coin is getting released.

I also don't agree that it will be CBDC, there are just too many people against them.
Ordinals seem to have negative attention too. NFTs are far gone from the hype. And no, I don't think Monero or Privacy will be the next to be hyped. Every cryptocurrency holder has their eyes on ETF right now but it's not a project.
So, I don't think there will be one who will be the apple of the eye in the crypto industry. Why? They must first finish the hype that Bitcoin will bring in this upcoming ETF and halving or else they won't be recognized if they take part in this time of the year.
The better date will be after all those events when the hype is gone and the FOMO slows down. Well, I doubt many developers could think of something new while they are also busy watching Bitcoin rise.
It would be easier to just watch or invest for now and take advantage of whatever profit we can get from this trend. There will be profits, without a doubt but how long will it be is the bigger question.

I don't think this will be the case because we already have the best solution for this. Bitcoin is decentralized and no one have control over it. It is the perfect solution to keep your privacy safe from the government and yet people are not using it for that reason. What makes you think that something new with the same principle will make the changes?
This could be a new trend but as trends fade away, this will also fade away eventually. Maybe something new but we don't know about it yet. We will know it when it happens. So I like to not think much about it. Just deal with it when it comes to us.

It's not easy to determine a coin that can make extraordinary achievements, especially with meme coins, where from the start, many people are pessimistic and rarely anyone can hype them easily. But you are right in saying that Pepe has proven that, and it is beyond the expectations of many speculators who did not expect this to happen.I think everyone doesn't want to speculate on meme coins like Pepe easily, but quite a few also speculate because they feel the price offered is quite cheap and affordable, so there are those who get lucky and there are those who can only be disappointed because they can't enjoy the results. .because I didn't expect that something like Pepe could penetrate a fairly well-known exchange and increase confidence in its coins.But I agree with you that it is not impossible that this will become a new trend that creates the next hype, so quite a few are currently trying their luck with a new meme coin project with the aim of being able to do that and hoping for a repeat.

Privacy coins have lost their charm and wil not make a comeback. NFT and meme hype will still go as there are a lot of investors who believe that they can bring them financial freedom. I think looking at the present market It is hard to predict the next hype. The only way to know it, is by keeping yourself updated with the situation of the market daily.

I am looking closely at the chain networks. Like Solana or any other layer-2 networks.
As you can see, Solana started to pump, and other Ethereum alternative platforms followed like Arbitrum. So for me, I am still looking forward on other networks, especially layer-2 networks.

AI is a hot topic right now and it will be used by crypto developers to pump their projects and create some hype. Not that projects will have anything innovative, original and unique to do with AI, but they will use this marketing in every cases.

And I guess blockchain games may return bullish again through new titles and game styles. Axie Infinity was a huge success last bull run, and there may be a new game to replace it soon. Gaming industry is wide and has lots of enthusiasts in the whole world. Crypto developers have to focus on this public and awake their interest for crypto aiming players and investors for their projects. Why did you think of AI? Artificial Intelligence is taking over every single industry, and I'm pretty sure that the cryptocurrency industry won't be an exception as we enter the future. There will be more projects and products focused and powered by AI and it will become the latest trend in the market. I know that we already have some AI-related projects in the market, but it is not like other trends and there will be a lot more projects and cryptocurrencies related to AI in the future for sure.

So, in my opinion, for years 2024 and 2025 or even beyond, AI is surely going to be a big trend in the cryptocurrency industry and all other industries as well. There can be other things as well that might take over, but seeing the trends and hot topics of the present, that is the only thing I can think of.

Let me say that privacy is overrated in cryptocurrency, and if you must know, Bitcoin wasn't appreciated this much because of it, and neither is it adopted this much due to privacy. People only saw the investment opportunity in it, and also for the fact that it could be used well for payments and settlements, that helps Bitcoin and altcoins adoption. The business around crypto as a whole makes it enter into the limelight as we see, so it is not about privacy that some people wrongly believe. Come to think of it, with the businesses built around crypto, are they not mostly centralised? This means that they lack privacy.

So what is the privacy concerned that much to the extent that people will now prioritised it to adopt a coin/token? All I know is that people will continue to look for crypto projects that they can trust and are affordable. Such will be the next one we should be looking at. The prominent one now is SOL and few others, they are seriously rising and it is for obvious reason. Why is Monero not rising that fast? As it is, I expect SOL to hit above $1,000 in 2025 because it is a project that is indeed worth it.
