AI still new thing in crypto space. There is a lot of talk about AI without blockchain or cryptocurrency few years ago even elon musk litelary said he was afraid of the harm AI's capabilities would bring
But when crypto project develop good AI to help bussiness, i think it will be bigger than before

We've seen the AI hype, but it didn't take long before it wore down.
Currently, we are seeing AI evolving every single day. I will not be surprised if AI will be the one that will be hyped in crypto.

I mean we've seen NFTs getting hype in 2021. We didn't expect it right? TBH, I don't know if it's AI that will be hyped next because we might see another thing in crypto that might get hyped. What is that? I don't know, but we'll see. This is what gets me excited when it comes to crypto. One week, nothing's happening. Another week, we will see a project getting hyped, and then many projects will copy the project, and then many developers will make their projects that are related to that project.

AI? Metaverse? Blockchain games like what happened in 2021? Or something that we aren't seeing right now might get hyped in the future. I guess we as investors must set aside a few portion of our money for us to have a  position.

Just like the way Metaverse was able to dominate doing 2022, AI tokens might go the same looking at the market and what is possible with the use of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is currently trending everywhere and having a token that is more of artificial intelligence would make a good road and have use cases. This is just the beginning of the year and we might have something new in the market again that would attract people's interest and make crowd go for it.

Predicting the next hype token may seems difficult as this is just the beginning of a new year. No one knows which project can be out tomorrow with people's interest. But for now if I'm to say, I will pick either Defi or AI to be the next hyped token.

I think CBDC's and constant blockchain tracking will scare a lot of people and they will want true privacy something that monero can bring. Privacy by default is what will be highly desired and needed in the coming future as it will be highly beneficial. Nobody wants to be tracked 24/7 of everything they do.

In my opinion, the next hype in the crypto space for this year and in 2025 could revolve around crypto projects that aim to surpass Bitcoin. Take for example
 a blockchain that focuses on sustainability and environmental friendliness. I mentioned this because bitcoin might be on the rise now due to the approval of the bitcoin ETF and the awaited halving. Some people may feel that they are late to invest in bitcoin, prompting them to explore new blockchain crypto projects that share similarities with Bitcoin but offer faster transactions, enhanced security, and environmental friendliness.

I believe that this year will see a shift towards a more serious approach in the crypto world, potentially sidelining meme coins for a while.

The market of meme coins thanks to their nature will most likely remain relevant for decades to come, as the profits people imagine themselves to get thanks to those coins will always cause a coin or two to have a good performance, but such performance can only last for a few weeks or months and after that it is unlikely that a specific meme coin will keep itself at the top, as it can just as easily be replaced by any other coin, since there is no reason at all why people should keep supporting a project that succeeded just because of the hype it generated around it.

It is now impossible to say what will be the next object for hype, if nothing new is invented, then it really could become a new meme coin. The year has just begun, but many already have high expectations for it, perhaps it will just be a passing year, we still need to wait and be aware of all the events in the crypto industry.

I don't see it as a problem - but if you believe you want to hide from the government with the anonymity of bitcoin or something else for not paying taxes, then maybe you need to know what the consequences are too.

I don't think we can hide from government anymore. There is not many non-KYC exchange in crypto space like few years ago.
I believe when someone avoid tax, eventually they will get caught especially with bitcoin they can track your bitcoin movement

Only those who are trying to hide on them, shows that they are shady. Will you like to be called like that? I'm sure you won't. So just obey the rules & regulations, and pay your taxes promptly. We shouldn't be paranoid and think that the tax will only be pocketed by them. I think that's not easy to do because there might also be officials that are watching them and I believe many are still loyal with their positions.

But, about the non-KYC exchanges, there are still plenty of them actually, if we are only talking about the DEX. While for the CEX, it's true that they are slowly complying to these new changes. It was only for their safety and maybe for their customers too.

Yes, I agree, no one wants that, it's still a transaction between two people without a third party and remains anonymous and our privacy is protected. One of the factors I like cryptocurrency is that. Do you agree with me?

agree, it seems the development of this concept took quite a long time and I think 2024 AI and metaverse remain at the top. but we don't know what concepts will be top in 2024 because 2024 is a bullish year. Apart from that, NFTs and meme coins seem to be continuing to increase recently.

totally agree that DeFi will continue to grow and especially if combined with AI. surely these two things will become an undeniable hype. so it is very suitable for investment in this area.
If for the coin meme, it actually rises quickly, it also sinks very quickly. just for fun, not for long-term investment.

Lets not forget about the NFTs hype. Ordinals are still very popular on the Bitcoin blockchain. With L2 networks gaining momentum, it should only be a matter of time before NFTs take advantage of low fees and fast settlement times. L2s like the Lightning Network, Arbitrum, and Optimism could obtain new use cases in the long run.

I'd suggest you keep buying and holding top-tier coins to reap massive profits within the next bull run. With BTC spot ETFs approved in the US, we should expect the crypto market to grow bigger than ever. Who knows what the future holds for the crypto/Blockchain space?

There will always be hype, I'm sure a new coin or technology will be invented. But now as I observe the hype around AI, but it will also quickly disappear after everyone gets used to it. As for me it's better to follow something more stable and interesting like fairspin, they have a stable token with high APY and they also hold various contests.

im really doubtful with AI though when the AI topic was so heated for discussion there's nothing about AI in crypto market that truly attracts people.
right now even more apparent with many AI coin losing its value being overshadowed by the presence of defi protocol and L2 even L1 right now are hottest topic to discuss.
but with AI coin, well even no whales seem to be attracted to it, but we will see maybe in the future there will be something but considering the fact that AI out there are heavily funded by large companies

When ChatGPT came out, it caused a massive hype to appear regarding AI on all its facets, and while this market was not the exception and a massive hype was generated, the hype could not last forever and some actual results were needed to keep it going, and I do not see any kind of breakthrough when it comes to those coins, as there is not really any advantage on combining both technologies, and this most likely suggest that AI coins will just be another type of meme coin on this market.
