What ?  A big club like Corinthians having this problems ? They were in Copa Sudamericana with real chances to actually winning it and every year they have a presence in either Copa Libertadores or Sudamericana so I'm really surprised a club like this are having massive financial problems. Hopefully , someone will jump and help them because if they don't , I think Serie B is the next step for them to actually rebrand , regroup and form a new team.

They were in Copa Sudamericana with real chances to actually winning it and every year they have a presence in either Copa Libertadores or Sudamericana so I'm really surprised a club like this are having massive financial problems. Hopefully , someone will jump and help them because if they don't , I think Serie B is the next step for them to actually rebrand , regroup and form a new team. 

Vaidebet's sponsorship contract with Corinthians was worth around 60 million dollars, an excellent contract, by the way (the biggest sponsorship in the history of Brazilian football)... The problem is that there was corruption in the intermediation of the contract involving Corinthians directors... The club currently has a debt of around 500 million dollars and many bills to pay in the short term (70 million dollars)... What was helping was the sponsorship,  it now ended... the club practically has no more money to pay anything.

The problem is that there was corruption in the intermediation of the contract involving Corinthians directors... What was helping was the sponsorship,  it now ended... the club practically has no more money to pay anything.

So, the mule that some folks call the president of brazil is a Corinthians fan, let's see if help from the federal government will come, nothing surprises me anymore. I knew Corinthians was in a bad situation, but not that much. A club must be completely private like Palmeiras for it to truly function, it has to be remodeled at that club.

Yes, they were smart about it. They left a completely precarious management to sponsor the club's large mass and still have access to the Gaviões da Fiel samba schools. So, they ended up being much better in my opinion.

In a way it was an intelligent solution, they leave the club due to problems, but continue with the full support of the fans, after all, it is the fans that generate engagement for the club and thus avoid having a strained relationship with the fans after the termination episode.

The great Operario from Ponta Grossa is in third place. It would be great if they could qualify for the first division of the Brazilian championship.

Santos is going through an endless crisis. At this rate, they will remain in the second division. 4 games without a win is really worrying.

I should also mention Sport. This is a team that I hope will be relegated to the third division. What this team did to midfielder Everton Felipe was an attitude of the lowest quality.

In my opinion, since the first division, Santos has not shown themselves to be competent in management or on the field, and it seems that things are only getting worse. They urgently need to change in order to become a top-level team in the country.

I imagined that when they were in the second division, it would just be a turbulent time and that they would overtake everyone else. But apparently they are not ready yet.

The games in this round had a lot of goals and the big surprise for me was this game:

Cuiaba 5 - 0 Fortaleza

Since the beginning of the league, Cuiaba had problems with scoring many goals, but since they beat Criciuma in a game in which Cuiaba managed to score 5 goals, they have improved a lot in attack, because after beating Criciuma, they lost in the game against Cruzeiro but they managed to score a goal and in yesterday's game Cuiaba managed to score 5 goals, this means that in the last 3 games, Cuiaba managed to score 11 goals, which is something very good for their attack, but they need to improve when play against teams in the middle and top of the table, I would say that Cuiaba is on a good path to avoid being relegated if they continue with this performance

It seems like I'm seeing the same scenario as last season in which Botafogo was at the top and with a big points advantage while Palmeiras was in positions below the top 4 and it couldn't even be thought that they would improve much to the point of near the end of the league they manage to overcome Botafogo, who ended up with more than 13 points of advantage, I don't know if Palmeiras can repeat the same thing this season, but I highly doubt that Botafogo will be champions, I hope that Flamengo can become champion

Exactly, both in selling these players and training them in the main team and using them as a starter or selling them after they have a lot of experience. I just wanted Leila Pereira at Corinthians to get her act together.
