The value of shit coin is much less than the value of other coins that's why if the value of this coin changes a little there is a good amount of profit. But we have to think in such a way that we will lose a lot of money if we dump a small amount without thinking that it will be a profit only. While trading we only think of positive side and therefore we can't take right decision whether we are investing in sheet coin or good coin. It is better to invest your money where your money will be safer rather than investing in coins that will give relatively high returns. If there are trusted coins in the market that give relatively less profit, I would still consider it safer to invest my money in such coins. Some people think the bitcoin price is already high, and even if they invest in bitcoin currently, they won't be making a high return. They will end up going for shitcoins without knowing that they are setting trap for themselves. I never consider Shitcoin as a proper investment. There are many people who especially newbies are looking more towards this kind of shitcoins because they expect more profit in short period of time.  But eventually all but a few shitcoins fell in value so much that at one point they disappeared from the market. Although Bitcoin is worth more, I think it is more risky to invest in Shitcoin instead of Bitcoin. Currently the market value of Bitcoin is very high. DCA method is good for Bitcoin investment. This year clearly confirms what you said, Bitcoin outperformed most altcoins and it was a great year for everyone who invested in Bitcoin during the bear market. The DCA strategy also worked great for me.

I also saw some altcoins that showed much better growth than Bitcoin, but I did not have them in my portfolio (actually my portfolio consists only of Bitcoin), and that's all I had to say about it, there will always be those who can grow better, but to find these tokens you need to have very good luck.

I do agree that Altcoins is far more risky compared to Bitcoin, it's not automatically suicide when a person invest in Altcoins. For early investors sure, it's not good, even Bitcoin is still risky for early investor and altcoins is far more risky. But there are some people who actually knows what they are doing and doing a thorough research before they are investing in altcoins and they can actually make a sustainable profit.

Recently, bitcoin has not been particularly volatile and investing in it has been a boring activity for those who like fast-changing numbers in a block portfolio. Such amateurs are more likely to invest in shit coins, but the fact is that if you keep them for a long time, the deposit amount decreases rapidly. But bitcoin has been showing excellent volatility lately, I don't even have time to get used to the new price values. Recently it was 25k, then 19k, then 34k and now 43k. I think new surprises will come to life for the new year.

There is an opinion that there is no point in holding shitcoins for more than one cycle (often even less), after which almost all shitcoins depreciate by 99%.

Some people do compare bitcoin to other cryptocurrency es, however, if we invest in bitcoin, no matter how the price fall it will still rise again. As said the price of bitcoin is currently around $40k, so we cannot compare it to the same price from last year. Those who hold their bitcoin for more than a year now will have made huge profits, while those who have hold other cryptocurrencies that market crash would have had to sell it because they have no choice. When it comes to cryptocurrencies, I only feel secure investing in bitcoin because it is the best. I can advise those that haven't purchased bitcoin yet, now is the perfect time to do so because we are expecting a bull run in the coming year, so take advantage of this opportunity to buy bitcoin.

I don't really agree that all altcoins are a scam and will dump at the first opportunity, we just have to distinguish technology-based price from hype-based price. Some altcoins are really technologically advanced - using PoS networks, low fees, high TPS and much more. It basically means that these coins have real utility, which ultimately forms their prices. On the other hand, we really do have some hype coins that cost what they cost just because of some Twitter hype and don't really have any utility.

Because of the amount of altcoins out there, most of them are just not really worth to invest but if you are really good enough you can pretty much find the hidden gems among those shitcoins because they suddenly get pumped for some reasons (due to the community, updates, or bots). It's quite interesting sometimes to look into that but if you are newbie then you should definitely be playing safe.

Sure, the amount of Bitcoin you get by doing DCA is lower every time the price of Bitcoin is rising but if you are doing it consistently then it will really worth it at the end. Consistency is the key.

It is Bitcoin’s popularity that ironically forces people to use other chains. For example, right now it costs like $50 to send a Bitcoin transaction. What if you owe someone $5? Is Bitcoin the right tool to send that value? I would say no, it obviously isn’t. People doing actual business can’t stand around and wait for Bitcoin to be less used. I wish more people understood this. It's okay to invest in other coins but do that with understanding and know that Bitcoin is the safest among all cryptos. Bitcoin price goes down and you know it would go back up, but with shit coin, there is a very high percentage it won't come back up again. Once investors of a shitcoin see the price of Bitcoin dropping, they immediately sell off what's left of their shitcoin and don't think about it again, that's why it's easy for shitcoin to die off after a dip or bear market.

But with Bitcoin, we know that people will always buy again and this would make the price go up. The speculation that Bitcoin might go up again soon is one thing that makes investors buy Bitcoin again or more Bitcoin when the price dips and this in turn increases the price of Bitcoin.
There are too many shitcoins out there and choosing which to invest in seems more of a gamble than an investment.

This is something that other people would really be thinking on which they would really be that having those chances or odds on having those huge profits once they do hit up the right shitcoin. hehe
If we do try to visit out those decentralized exchangers then those coins would really be generating multi millions of marketcap on which it something that not everyone is really knowing about.
Those volumes would really be much greater compared into those coins which are listed on CEX. This is why there are people who are really that a fan on

Actually, what drags some people to invest in altcoins is that they are looking for a quick profit, while others are not too knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, so they end up investing their hard-earned money in some shitcoins that might not return any profit.
