How lucky are the people who have prepared to invest in bitcoin because the road to success is getting closer to the next ATH period and where we will stand.
Therefore, when it is not too late, it is better to try to think of ways to collect and even though this period we cannot make big profits, there is hope in the next period when we have started.

Aside from not getting proper knowledge, they also become more greedy and maximize altcoin investments than bitcoin, knowing it’s cheaper plus there are also high promising profits, that end up with too good to be true and certainly fall into scams. Trusting in altcoins more than bitcoin makes them burn, and taking some risk that are not worthy of their rewards, since they all end up losing their funds.

I also prefer Bitcoin for my investments; it's my main one, accounting for over 85% of my total cryptocurrency portfolio, and is aimed at long-term holding for the upcoming 5 years. I agree with you, bitcoin is the safest and best choice for us but it is not the only choice. Bull season is approaching and we all know that there will be a lot of altcoins doing well and it would be a waste if we stuck with bitcoin and wasted the opportunity with altcoins. Like atlcoin called INJ, quite a few people missed it but I bought it for 10$ and now it is trading for almost 40$ in just a short time. This is just one altcoin among hundreds that are bringing significant profits, why are people so stuck with bitcoin and ignore good opportunities to increase capital?

Investing in altcoins during the bear season is very bad but we are gradually entering the bull season, let's not miss these great opportunities but make the most of them, the opportunity will not come many times if we do not know how to seize it.

It all depends on the market. For example, in 2017 there was a strong growth of altcoins, you could earn a lot of money. ICOs of new successful projects were also held, on which people earned a lot of money. But, I realized one thing - you can make money on Altcoins, but not in the long term. If we consider long-term investments, then you need to choose bitcoin.

No matter the talks and advices, there are still some people or should I say persons that actually do have little leverage when it comes to investing in some altcoins and I believe they also are part of the reason why most newbies or ignorant old timers still fall for this particular actions of buying altcoins and  regretting when the altcoins decides to drop drastically in market value.

The facts of the second paragraph are undeniable and on average their ability is only up to 30-50% and the rest will fall again and yes OP this is where the defeat of traders, especially those who do not invest in BTC, lies. For the latter, maybe if someone withdraws capital and takes some profits for those who have done DCA after the previous or previous correction at a price of 50K, I don't think there will be much this time and I'm sure this technique will continue until it's time to harvest.

Bitcoin is incomparable, most of all these altcoins struggle because they lack good foundation and fail to sustain in the market unlike Bitcoin. As someone who is new in the crypto space, I keep seeing different forms of advertisement projecting most of these failed altcoins and their are so many individuals falling to their antics and scams but thanks to the knowledge in this forum. Most of these developers create altcoins with short term intention.

They don't know  that altcoin fall more than they rise, and most times it will totally refuse to return back to the price you actually bought it, and you will be forced to sell at a loss.

That doesn't happen with every altcoin, even though most altcoins are considered to have such a nature which is why they are mostly recommended for only short-term trading. Those who trade altcoins are supposed to buy them when they are low and sell them immediately when they go up a few percent because when you keep holding them hoping for further rise, they might go the other way and then you won't even be able to get a few profit percentages.

One more point is that one should only buy altcoins that they trust and know that even if they lose value, they are going to recover their price again if they are held so that they aren't forced to sell their assets at a loss after buying them and they should keep holding them until the price gets back up.

Yes you are right that mate if we loss our money because we are investing shitcoins then we should not blame others cause they don't know what's really going on cause it's our decision to invest in shitcoins. Anyways let's moved forward as we know that shitcoins cannot give us a good profit consecutively. So it's better to invest with a good coins sush as ETH,BNB and BTC this three coins are already proven by other other investors  which is for sure we can make money in the long run . Seeking profits through altcoins and then using them to buy Bitcoin is the very right direction because in the end everything will lead to Bitcoin without sacrificing more capital after the profits from altcoins are obtained. Because for some people, altcoins are just a joke that are only chosen when some people are having fun to make short-term profits before using them to buy Bitcoin at a later date. And if you, as someone new to crypto, already know about how Bitcoin is still quite dominant in the crypto space, that means that almost the entire world of Bitcoin is already known by many people.

Almost all shitcoins are created to scam people, and I have seen a lot of them in the cryptocurrency market, so we should just know that investing our money in shitcoins is just like gambling. So investing in shitcoin is all about luck. When someone is lucky enough, there is a probability that they can make it through shitcoin. But let us know that luck doesn't work on many people; it works only on a small number of people. Because of the game that most of all those shitcoin founders are playing, they will put more money into the project just to hype the project to attract the intention of people to invest in it, looking like a long-term project with good profits, but in a few months when they get a lot of investors, they will just make their profits and dump the coin, and the project will gradually die.
 
Why will someone looking for a big profit that involves higher risk investing in shitcoin? Why can't they invest in bitcoin, which may give them small profits in between short-term and huge profits in long-term investments with less risk?

Let's take a look at the market today, Bitcoin is trading at $41800-42500, but almost all the shit coin as the name implies have fall drastically from grace. They don't know  that altcoin fall more than they rise, and most times it will totally refuse to return back to the price you actually bought it, and you will be forced to sell at a loss.

Bitcoin is not that safe too. Bitcoin is risky as well but altcoins are more riskier than bitcoin.
We have seen time and time again that bitcoin recovers from the dump and comes back stronger.
On the other hand, many of the altcoins from last 3-4 years cannot be seen even in the top 100 coins' list.
There are many altcoins whose developers have just left the coin as it is and enjoying the profits they made.

Well, this advice can only be valid if you do not know what you are doing. Till today, I do not think there is an investment advice that states contrary to diversification. Investment diversification is so unique and has helped a lot of people in the past. You can't just throw that away simply because of Bitcoin. And when you label coins "shitcoins," you should always know that it is relative, it doesn't apply to all coins. As a matter of fact, if it could be counted well, you will still count more than 100 altcoins that are not shitcoins, so the shitcoin tag is so relative. Talking about the investment opportunities and return as well, altcoins have it, it is all about what you want and how you are trying to get it. I wonder the person that will love Bitcoin all for the context alone, and not for the money.

If such fellows say that, they are liars, they love Bitcoin for the money. And for the fact that it is the same money you want in Bitcoin and altcoins, why not maximize your earnings through altcoins that is more promising if you are smart? This doesn't stop you from investing in Bitcoin as well, but for the more money-making sakes, you will diversify your portfolio and you will make more money. Even diversification can save you, anything bad can happen, and not even Bitcoin is 100% immune from issues, so we should always plan our safety and not only have one single asset when others are there and can hand us more returns. I've seen enough good altcoins, once you can invest in them at the right time and liquidate them at the right time as well, then you get to be successful more than when you deal with Bitcoin alone.

I have learned a lot of lesson from shitcoins investment, that make me to vow never to spend plenty money during the bear run because I thought that the same way we spend plenty amount of money on BTC during the bear run and achieve plenty money during the bull run is the same thing with shitcoins investment until i lost my capital.

 Since I have succeeded to invest in BTC last year, I think I will experience another bull run shortly because the BTC price has reached $52k this week before it started reducing back to $50k, which I know it will not fall more than $50k before the real bull market will continue for investors to earn well from their investment.

Bitcoin is incomparable to any altcoin, especially if you compare it to memecoin which some people generally consider to be trash in the crypto space. Because there are many memecoins that immediately disappear on the market after their value or trading volume no longer exists, so there is no more important reason than continuing to choose Bitcoin as the best investment available to date. And now that you know about Bitcoin as the best asset for investment, of course you no longer need to continue to care about any altcoin if it's not for profit.

I'm not comfortable with the statement that shitcoins give higher returns. Using the word "since shitcoins givers higher returns" is misleading and actually negates what you are trying to advise in this thread. Well it is English and I don't know your background but the record must be set straight. Shitcoins does not give higher returns, they are shitcoins that leaves investors angry, frustrated and depressed because they are prone to risk and loss of money.

All the people that have bad things to say about cryptocurrency are mostly investors in shitcoins. I am yet to see early investors or even long term investors of bitcoin cry and regret their decision to invest in bitcoin. The records even shows that bitcoin investments even gets better with time unlike shitcoin that that reduces to nothing with time. Investment in shitcoins is not really encouraged and anyone who must do it must only use the money they can afford to lose.

The mind-boggling gains on some altcoins naturally attract gamblers. Those who buy coins not with the mentality of making a smart long-term investment, but with the aim of making a quick buck in a short period of time, often don't realize that they are taking a big gamble. It's hard for them to realize how rare altcoin stories that make people rich in a short time are. In such a market, Bitcoin will always remain a safe haven.
