Airdrops speculations thread

After Monad, I stopped working on Airdrops because I wasn't eligible there. Congratulations to those who are still able to work on Airdrops today, and who are still consistently working, despite the difficulty of screening potential Airdrops that can provide decent profits. At least, it adds to our betting bankroll. It's quite good, or it can be used as additional funds to whatever funds we have.

If you have any information on pursuing potential Airdrops, please share it here. Even if there's a reef, I don't think it's a problem for me.

^  Let me guess...  You're one of the testnet users who were using it everyday..?    Yeah, I feel for you guys.  But the thing is, airdrops are already being gamed and sybilled to the tits.  We really can't blame the devs if they decide not to include the activity at testnet for airdrop eligibility.

As for what I'm farming now, I stopped trading at Variational and Ethereal.  Focusing all my trading on Hyperliquid whether it be the regular perps dex or HIP 3.

And there's one protocol I'm waiting for that could give a good airdrop...

Because there are so many bots and they often go undetected by developers, it's easy to manipulate, and the dev community is often the one to blame.

Now I don't do many airdrops, because too many disappointments just won't leave, so I will look for the ones that I think are worth following.

^  While I'm pretty sure there will be future airdrops from the Hyperliquid devs, I'm not sure if it's gonna be as huge as the one the gave the other year.  That was something rare so I don't think an airdrop like that would be happening again soon.

And remember when everybody was so sure that Layer Zero would be this huge airdrop and everybody started farming it?    The LZ devs were cheap af.

As for protocols that might give decent airdrops, it could be the perp dex's.  Look into Ethereal and Variational.  I stopped trading in them because I'm spreading stables in many places, I'm burning out.

I'm late to the party in farming USD.ai, just started a couple of weeks ago.  But if some of you guys have gotten into this, the airdrop is coming tomorrow Feb 18 then there's gonna be some kind of gimmick and you'll be given a choice to boost your allo if you lock your tokens...

It's basically giving you a choice to get your airdrop asap, albeit a smaller one, or lock your tokens and get the full allo.  I think that since I'm late, I'll prolly get a small allocation and I'll just lock all of it.

I'm fully doubting it. The hype for the perp after hyper liquid would never be the same. It's caused by the rest was just a copycat tried to get the same success as hyper liquid. So it's not possible when we had a pioneer for a new trend, then we expect the projects released after it to be another hyper liquid.

This is pretty much the same like when Arbitrum being released as early L2 for ethereum. People tried to chase the same trend by farming the newest L2, but they never get the same as Arbitrum.

So i guess the hype only worked once, then it's only working when a new trend is being discovered.

TradeXYZ is not that far behind Aster and Lighter. Considering how much fake volume there is on some of these perp DEXs, it wouldn’t surprise me if the amount of organic activity on TradeXYZ was higher.



If they launched a token, it could reach a decent price with buybacks. Lately, it seems like platforms would rather keep all the revenue to themselves so there is some uncertainty about what will happen with regard to a token launch. I don’t think they even have a points campaign. With everything going on in the world, it’s still a great place to trade, even without a potential airdrop.

A few months ago from Polymarket representatives have confirmed that there will be tokens that they will make, now there is still no news about this, I just wonder how about you guys, do you still continue to increase the volume of bets on this platform?

^  I'm farming Polymarket but I'm late in the game...  And I'm starting to feel like the airdrop won't be a good one if they do airdrop.  I think I'll start withdrawing all of my stables out of there.  I mean what's the use.  I'm just losing money in there.  Lol.

But one prediction market that could give a good airdrop might be one of the HIP-4 ones at Hyperliquid.  It hasn't launched yet tho.

There is a theory in X, about donating to Defiunited.eth will get an airdrop in the future? Yeah this is not wrong, because many wallets are almost 70% more than small wallets by sending a small amount of ETH to that address to donate.

defiunited.eth --- currently $315M collected and will continue to grow. Is this theory going to be like the old days, we donate to gitcoin, then it will fulfill the airdrop eligibility? We really don't know about this because it's part of speculation.

Is this a sign of a bearish market, and are you still optimistic about Airdrop farming?

If any of you are still actively retro for farming Airdrop points in several DeFi projects, DEX and other ecosystems I recommend to immediately withdraw or revoke it. Because now almost every day there are many new hack activities, which take millions of dollars.
2 hours ago hackers stole over $5.5M on ETH, BASE, BLAST, and BERACHAIN networks. So far in April alone there has been a total loss of $633 million.
Is this a sign of a bearish market, and are you still optimistic about Airdrop farming?

Yup.  And include Sui in that list.  They had around 6 protocols that got hacked, exploited and assets stolen from them.  Look it up which protocols those are.  Lol.  I don't think it's worth knowing anymore.

Anyway as for airdrop farming, the only ones that could be worth your while are Hyperliquid and Tradexyz.  If you guys like to trade tardfi perps then Tradexyz is for you.  For crypto perps, it's HL.  But be on the look out for HIP-4 launch.

There were also plenties of hacked case that happened during the bullish trend last year. So it's not right by calling so many hacked cases this year as a sign of the bearish market. In fact, market is alreayd dumped even before the hacked cases happened last month.

So i think i'm still optimistic about airdrop. The fact that we have some airdorp such as MEGA, CHIP or even Billion that were successfully launched. These tokens were also giving me thousand bucks of profit.

I think the result of airdrop is totally depending on the project itself. I admit market trend matter, but it's not really as significant as people said.

$BASE token coming soon? Many people are speculating on Telegram channels that the $BASE token is coming soon.

Well we will not be curious anymore that Base will create its own token even though it was previously denied that there will be no token.

We'll stay tuned --- but we wouldn't be surprised if there is disappointment in this airdrop.

It's only related to the benchmark and its token standard (B20). It has nothing to do with the launch of base token. I know base already confirmed they might launch a token, but this totally depends on the coinbase itself.

So the better to have low expectation over this. I see any telegram airdrop groups posted it, but they don't know what it means.
