When #Bitcoin goes up to $200,000, what do you think the #decred will be？

this is my first time hearing about decred but upon researching even though it tried to basically replicate bitcoin fork i see that the two does not have any correlation with each one of their prices of course the rise of bitcoin in price affects all altcoins but the decrease and increase of bitcoin does not necessarily affect the price of decred and the increase and decrease of decred’s price of course does not affect bitcoin’s price

Also my first hearing about Decred, seems like it made wave like most of these other Altcoins as it may have been compared to Bitcoin at that time. So bad how it has become very outdated and of no use to everyone, this kind of projects lacks the potential and often pump with the influence of trend.
If Bitcoin should get to $200k probably it may pump but how far can it last even after the pump whereas it has no potential for better continuity in the market.

In the last bull run, it went beyond $200, now it is trading at $14 which is a sharp downfall. If Bitcoin goes up to $200,000 then it will pump like it did in 2021 and most probably it can break its own ATH. Altcoins in general follow the path of Bitcoin, you can expect a good pump with this coin as other altcoins will be doing. Developers are working on it as a new version was released in October this year which is a good sign.

Certainly, It was perceived as very promising project when launched in 2013, as it was tied to Bitcoin Block chain, but unfortunately the team failed to meet market expectation and it lost all its initial allure with its price dropping from $200 to just $15. With the release of its new version, observers are keen to  see how it will fare in the market once again.

While I am in favor to see Bitcoin goes $200,000 soon, I am familiar with decred like this was one of the popular coins during the 2017 bull run.
While it's known that most of the cryptocurrencies are going to be bullish whenever Bitcoin is bullish, so you probably are expecting or waiting for some people to tell you that it's going to be bullish. If so, I am not that person that you're waiting to say but I'd speak for general market if Bitcoin goes $200k. Btw, I truly like whenever someone says something like this for Bitcoin. 

Many are in favour of of course because many of us has a BTC on our bags and we all know what it means when BTC reaches that high. That's it, we can also earn massive. We aren't only sure for now if $200k is truly possible. We haven't even reached $100k yet. About that Decred, like others, I also haven't heard of it before, even though I was also already active in the year of 2017 and I was also joining lots of airdrops that time. But IDK, maybe I've also stumbled upon it but I just forgot it eventually.

The OP already expects that Decred will be bullish, so there is no need for us to tell him about it. But what his only motive here, is to ask us if what we think the price of Decred will be, if ever BTC reaches $200k.

I love this thread, just because it has made me get familiar with something new. I'm hearing Decred for the first time in my crypto journey. I've gone through the thread and observed Decred was made to compare with Bitcoin but since it has no use case like someone has said, I don't see reason for Decred when Bitcoin can solve our problem. When BTC reaches $200k, I think Decred will also pump up a bit with due to the effect of the BTC pump..

Nowadays it is very easy for good or bad projects to easily pump because there are lots of influencers who are ready to take the Money and promote any crypto projects they like. The market is turning to different thing that is why it is very easy for most meme projects to keep having increase in momentum and liquidity. We should always work on what will give us the profits not staying in the market for so long with the mindset that we want to make profits and finally not making anything. Profits should be our first goal but we don't have to be roo desperate.

Well that's a blast from the past. I am not the only one who forgot this existed and there's a good reason for that. Decred is outdated and boring, it's like a computer that's running with steam still pretending to be relevant.  I personally don't understand why this dinosaur exists and i don't get the community or excitement. It has a small marketcap so it has growth potential, and what i see is it does react to bullruns and might break $1k if BTC breaks $200K. But i can't see it being exciting enough to break trough top top 10 or anything like that. It's just a generic boring altcoin that makes money like lots of altcoins just because thet make money during an altcoin season.

Exactly. Nobody cares about old coins these days. Investors are looking for innovative projects, especially when if they can make them a lot of money in return. The only exception is Bitcoin because it's the one cryptocurrency that started it all. If a coin isn't a "meme" or doesn't have smart contract features, don't expect it to "pump" anytime soon. Decred (DCR) has been having a hard time reaching a new ATH, so it's likely prices will remain the same even after BTC hits $200k. This coin is slowly dying as competitors take the stage as the next big thing in crypto.

Instead of DCR, why not choose LTC instead? It's as close to Bitcoin as it gets. The crypto market is extremely-unpredictable, so I'd suggest the OP to proceed with caution just to avoid losing it all in an instant.

Due to success of bitcoin most of the people wants to full their bags with it because they know the fact that bitcoin will reach to the top price that we never see in past. The price of 200k$ is very far and I don't think that It will happen in near future but may be after another fours year it attain such value but in coming halving I don't think that it will happen.

First we will wait for 100k$ as everyone's main target is 100k$ and I assume that everyone will focus to sell their bitcoin at 100k$ so if number of selling increases then perhaps the demand reduce and price goes into dip.

How many of you remember $dcr #DECRED

It is impossible to say with certainty what the future holds for the price of Bitcoin. I've never seen a bitcoin worth $100k where $200k is a long way off. I've seen that whenever a coin is new or old, bitcoin is compared to coins that people don't know much about. Why is this done! As far as I know Decred is a cryptocurrency that aims to solve issues related to governance and funding for development and it has similarities to Bitcoin as its code was originally derived from Bitcoin. If Bitcoin goes to $200k, I would never imagine Decred.
