[Raffle] Betnomi branded Ledger Nano X

Hello!

I would like to raffle a Ledger Nano X branded with Betnomi. It's brand new and sealed.

I won 3 such Ledgers from Betnomi and I need only one. For those wondering about its hardware integrity you can find here a post of mine where I performed such a check on my Ledger. The result was that Betnomi Ledgers are not tampered with. I also know that some may simply not trust Ledgers after their last decisions but you can consider the wallet as a rare Collectible. I am no raffling it for its use as a wallet but for those interested in a Collectible item.



Inside the box you'll find a Ledger like this one:

After all places are filled I will choose a block. The last character of that block will choose the winner.

Ticket price: The price for a brand new Ledger Nano is ~157$, which is ~X 0.00165 BTC. I set a price of 0.0001 BTC for each spot and I included the shipping in this price. Payments can be sent here: bc1qgnazx6jf5nudz2pdrgrpcw99luzrwljfzl8ll5.
Shipping: Worldwide shipping included. Winner is responsible for local customs/duties.

Hey Elipse, I understand your point of view... It is unfortunate what happened with the Ledger company's policy lately. However, I understand that many people share this view. This is why I added this in OP:

I am not sure what you are asking here. Can you elaborate, please?

From the pictures you posted the box looks the same as any regular Ledger Nano X. Other versions have different boxes to be able to tell them apart without opening them eg. the forgotten runes box looks like this. I'm guessing only a small number of these were made and they didn't make custom boxes.


The barcode is the European Article Number, it's a number used to identify a product. Unfortunately, it only shows as a Ledger Nano X. See here.

I understand your point. And it makes sense. For such cases (involving trust / lack of trust) an escrow can be used too. I don't mind working with an escrow, if it's one from this list, as I trust most of them. So in case you are interested in this product we can work things out in a way or another. Please let me know.

I won one, and I even contacted ledger - they said there was no way to tell without opening it. This is the case for several of the variations that were made where the box is not any different.

I also won a Ledger from that giveaway, but it just reported a battery problem. Although I haven't used it much, I've only tested it a few times and made a few transactions.

@GazetaBitcoin, sorry if this is off-topic here, although I would join @minerjones in suggesting a simpler model for this raffle. Some parts of the device may have a limited lifespan regardless of use.

Well, I won 3 of them. I sold one to ajiz138, as it can be seen at my Trust page and he never complained, thus I believe that one is functional. The second one is sealed (the one I am raffling here). And about third one, I tested its integrity and posted my results here, but I did not use it afterwards. However, since all these devices were from same lot; and since other winners of these Ledgers offered by Betnomi did not complain, I tend to believe they are fully functional.

I've always wanted to use a HW but couldn't because of this crypto ban in my country. Would have ordered one from overseas but didn't because of the uncertainly regarding customs and government authority.

Well, as you can see in the link from OP, which redirects to Ledger's website, the price for a brand new one is around 157$. However, considering that this item I have is a custom build (being branded by Betnomi), this makes it a rare collectible, thus its price should be greater than the one from the website.

In any case, I am open for offers, in case you are interested.

It kinda fills my heart with joy to see nobody wants this after 1.5 years. I can only hope that's because of the fact that Ledger uploads your seed phrase to their server, and not because of the branded collectible. How to fuck up your company that had one single purpose: to keep your keys offline.

Thank you for the offer, but I am not willing to sell it at a price lower than the one from the Ledger website. This one is also brand new and, since it's a special edition, the price should be even greater than the one from the website.

I am not concerned if I am not selling it -- as we say in my country, it doesn't ask for food it only sits on a shelf in my house. If you reconsider though, and you are willing to pay the price from the website, please let me know.
