When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved?

 Well, we've got ten days for this year to be finished. So if the SEC wants to do such, they better get started already.  If this gets done, it would only mean that the SEC have finally decided to give in to the numerous requests and finally cryptocurrency will receive mainstream adoption in the US.

Do you think many big whales will start accumulating before ETF approval or after approval ?

Because of what you are seeing? Just like those tweets on X and what you are reading on the news. Making it to look like spot bitcoin ETF will soon be approved. People are expecting the approval to be in the first quarter of next year. But as for this year approval, I do not think that is going to happen, spot bitcoin ETF is not going to be approved this year.

It's very certain that it can't be approved within this few days left in this month of December even till the first week of January is over.

Everybody says what's on their mind inorder to get attention so most of the posters are attention seekers. Sometimes we should get concerned about somethings rumours are too much.

Anyways I have nothing to do with the ETF approval because I'm not a whale so why would I get worried about when it will be approved.

I think Gary Gensler and the four other commissioners can answer this question correctly. Maybe Joe Biden and some members of Congress might also have a glimpse of when it will be approved because the SEC reports to them. The first final deadline will be on 10th January 2024, which is the Ark Investment Management application. The SEC can choose to approve or deny this approval citing more concerns. Which means that we have to wait for the consideration of other applications.

Currently, there are concerns that the SEC is insisting that these ETF providers should use cash to buy shares of the ETF instead of the preferred "in-kind" transactions. However, some ETF applicants are pressuring the SEC to allow them to offer both in-kind and cash redemption. There have been several meetings between the representatives of the SEC and these ETF applicants and several issues have been discussed which have necessitated most of these applicants to adjust the provisions of their applications. My advice is that you become less expectant because it can happen slower or faster than you expect.

If it happens at the same time, then the price of Bitcoin will skyrocket. But I am certain that next year will be a good period for bitcoiners with or without the approval of ETF.

You won't have it soon. I believe there will be no approval for Bitcoin Spot ETF before the USA. President Election ending in 2024.

I believe we will have it in future but not too soon and I am not saying I am right about it. You have to think that if my thinking becomes true, what will happen with Bitcoin, will it be correct a lot because its current price reflects the market anticipation for Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals.

I am not spreading fud here but it is one of scenarios, if it happens, don't feel bad about it if you already have plans, reserve money to catch Bitcoin dips. Halving will be in April 2024 and any dip in next four months will be great chances for you to get profit.

I do not have much hope left for an ETF approval.  Nor do I necessarily see it being a great achievement for Bitcoins purpose.  I think there are better things to be much happier about.  Maybe if they decide to finally get rid of Know Your Customer or such thing.

Every body seems to be positive on the ETF yet it has always been like this every year.  We will probably have the approval when every body expects it the least.

However I’m not sure if the current trend will continue once the hype on ETF approval was already over since we all know how crypto investors think, buy the news and sell whenever there’s already the result. Same scenario during Bitcoin halving and other positive news.

The only thing that we should care about is that we should be buying more bitcoin right now and that no matter what happens we hold on to that bitcoins and wait for the price to go up because there's nothing we can do in this ETF approval besides waiting and speculating, we will definitely see bitcoin go up in prices when this happens and I do hope that it's going to be because of ETF and halving, some people will definitely not be ready for the next ATH and about how high it's going to be and I for one is one of those people that I've mentioned.

In the next three more weeks we should have an answer already, it's possible that the ETFs will be approved and few times already the Discussion of the approval have been talked about with the SEC but I just believe that if they plan to crash the market first, this ETF approval will be a very good opportunity.

I said this because too many people have now rely heavily on the ETF approval, you can't fade the fact that peoples emotion is what shapes the behavior of the crypto market almost all the times.

Also have anyone think about what will happen after the Approval? The buy the rumour sell the news event will take place, this is my own believe, there will be some massive sell off and the price of Bitcoin will still dump, either ways dump is expected to happen.

I do not think within the next 10 days, the SEC will approve a Bitcoin ETF. Holiday season has already started and would continue till the first week of January next year. A lot of speculated news are being circulated, but they are only speculation. If I am correct, only 113 days left for the next halving, so if there is any positive news it will come after halving. That will surely help the market, and we can expect the start of a bull run after it.

I don't think that Bitcoin ETF will be approve this year, as the tear has come to an end and it is time for holiday. According to the the rumor that it will be on January 10th, but nobody knows if SEC will approve it on that day or still delay the approval. One thing that I know is that ETF approval will be next year but I cannot say when exactly.

What I know is that whether ETF is approved or not bitcoin will be doing great next year since the bigger event is taking place which is the halving because it is the halving that will lead to the bull run. The approval of ETF will only make the price to skyrocket more than 100k to maybe 200k. The important thing now is dor us to keep on stashing our bitcoin portfolio for the next bull run and worry less about news in the market.

Bitcoin ETF may be approved by January, but there is no specific timeline. However, even if Bitcoin ETF are not approved in January, the price of Bitcoin will increase. Bitcoin ETF is totally dramatic. But I think it will never be approved in December.

No one knows when the ETF will be approved, but there are filings to that effect and the time to decide the fate for now is on the 10th of January. That is at least the last updated news I read about the ETF. Mind you, it is still subject to approval or rejection as the case may be and not the view of only approval as you think. It will disappoint a lot of crypto dealers if they reject it and the crypto market will be so negatively affected. But if it is approved, it will continue to help the market to appreciate as we see now. However, the chance of approving it is so high judging by the appeal court's verdict about it. Yet, the SEC still have the final say and I believe that it would be reasonably approved this time.

Come to think of it, if Crude oil, Gold and others could have the ETF, why not Bitcoin even if they will not approve other cryptocurrencies? I hope the SEC will consider it wiser this time and do the needful as this can't hurt in any form more than how it is already but is just a further advancement in the crypto space.

Do you care about ETF approval or bitcoin accumulation? I think accumulating bitcoin is more important than continuing to pay attention to this news that is still continuing whether or not it will be approved. I think it is still focused on buying before the price is high because it is influenced by the ETF or the Halving that is coming soon. Focus on that with bitcoin purchases.

"Buy the rumor, sell the news" and it is rumor only, no guarantee that SEC will approve Bitcoin Spot ETF applications before or after January 2024 or even in a next year. All we have so far are simply rumors and Bitcoin has a very good rally in 2023 that is good enough for a correction and I will not feel surprised if it has a deep correction in last few days of 2023 or in Q1 2024 before the halving.

Because I don't know what SEC. will do with those applications, I won't make my investment decision or trading decision because of SEC. I know one fact that Bitcoin halving will happen in April 2024 and I know by history that a halving event helps Bitcoin to make a new all time high. It is true with past three halvigns and I believe it will have similar effects in 2024.

I decide to hold my bitcoin and wait for the halving as well as a bull run in 2024.

I don't think it will happen so soon since maybe they just want to create a hype on it so that they can manipulate the market. But you know what will happen next to it when it gets denied again? For sure we can see a price fall since this is usually what happen to bitcoin when ETF submission denied news will spread out so I guess we need to be careful on to much believing and just monitor how this case go so that we can do good actions if certain good or bad effect will happen if ETF will really get approve at that timeline or get denied.

Really great if all officials will agree to accept it since I think we can see bitcoin reach to another level and might for this event we can see the demand rise up and it can help to get a huge bull run especially that year 2024 is possible a good year for bitcoin since many think about more positive to happen when halving season happens.
