The transaction is not supporting replace-by-fee. Use a wallet that support replace-by-fee next time. Like Electrum, Sparrow and Bluewallet.

But if the transaction is not having parent transaction. If the fee is more than 10 sat/byte (not 10 sat/vbyte) and also if the transaction size is not more than 500 bytes. Then you can use VIABTC free accelerator to accelerate it.

You can make use of free accelerators online like the ones suggested by Charles-Tim.but mind you even those free accelerators have a minimum amount they will accept before adding your transaction to their block .

Mycellium wallet does not support Replace By Fee RBF. It only supports Child-Pay-For-Parents CPFP.

You have to Import your wallet from Mycellium to Electrum wallet and you can use RBF to bump transaction fee for future transactions you broadcast.

With this Pending transaction, you only can wait for it to be confirmed or to be dropped from mempools. To bump fee, you need one condition, the transaction must be broadcasted with RBF-opt-in.

Usually after about 14 days, it will be dropped from some mempools then you can Import wallet to Electrum and broadcast a new transaction with RBF opt-in. Now, if you import it to Electrum, you will see RBF: False.

If the size of trx is less then 0.5 KB and the fee is more than the purging value (currently around 23 sat/vB) you may accelerate it by using ViaBTC accelerator.

Copy  transaction  ID into  required field  

Keep track of the time and at the first second of the next hour press the Free Submission button.

There are 100 free slots for every hour, and currently, they become full during - first 60 secs.

Note that the purging fee rate is different for different nodes and ViaBTC probably have many transactions with the fee rate of less than 23 sat/vbyte in their mempool.

I guess you got the 23 sat/vbyte from mempool.space. If so, that's the purging fee rate for any node with default mempool size.

As newbies, it is always of benefit to be sure of the Pros and Cons of a wallet you want to store your bitcoins in and the features they offer, so to pick the best suitable for you. If you have checked to be aware of the Pros and Cons, you would have known that the wallet Mycelium does not support replace-by-fee, and maybe for that reason would have made another choice. This experience has brought new knowledge to you, it is left for you to now decide whether to continue with your mycelium wallet or switch to another wallet with the replace-by-fee feature.

Yeah, you are correct. ViaBTC sets the value of  10 sat/byte as the minimal fee for transaction to  be considered by their accelerator.

But to be on the safe side I would increase a bit that value because we don't know what is purge value is set (currently) by ViaBTC.

10 sat/byte is the old value that lasts for ages.

I guess you got the 23 sat/vbyte from mempool.space. If so, that's the purging fee rate for any node with default mempool size.

Importing the wallet into RBF supported wallet can't alter the features of an already broadcasted transaction but since full RBF is supported by many nodes then it is possible to bump the fee even if the transaction hasn't been flagged as RBF.

Other possibly ways is to use accelerator service either free if possible or have to use the paid which is too expensive compared to the fees.

If you have sent a transaction with a fee that's less than 10 sat/vB then you won't be able to speed up the transaction but if you have used 10 sat/vB or more as transaction fee then you may try ViaBTC transaction accelerator to accelerate the transaction speed.

I would recommend you to use Electrum wallet next time when you are sending a transaction because that wallet RBF and you can anytime increase the transaction fee to speed up the transactions that you sent via Electrum.

Using the viabtc free accelerator is a hell of work currently. You need to have a faster internet connection, a strong and fast finger to click and solve the captcha, and then you need to do all of this within a second in order to compete with the thousands of people also trying to do the same thing.
 
The recent increase in transaction fees has increased traffic and the use of the free accelerator. A lot of people are waiting to make use of it all at once, and there are only 100 free slots in every single house, which are being used up within seconds.

Go to memepool.space and input the transaction ID on the search bar. After you input it check the ETA time and beside it, you will find Accelerate. Click on it to know the cost. Below is the image that shows the Accelerate button.



The Accelerate screen displays three transaction fees and the time it will take for confirmation. Depending on your requirement you could choose the fee, but you would need to first register to accelerate a transaction. It is similar to RBF but the issue here is that you cannot control the fee for the transaction. Below is the screen that you will see after you have clicked the Accelerate button.



I have personally never used this new system on memepool, I feel it is far better than those BTC accelerators available in the market and the fee is not that bad.

This is my first time of hearing this kind of wallet. But you want to spend up your transaction, either you use accelerator or you bump your transaction fee. Those are some of the options to go about it. And as others have said, you have to for the instructions of the comments if not your transaction will stuck for days or weeks. This has happened to but later I cancelled the transaction.

I'm using electrum and there's a way to speed up the confirmation. With the current average transaction fee now which is very high, speeding your transaction means more transaction fee.

You can monitor the fee here : https://mempool.emzy.de/

That will give you an idea how much fee you need to pay for a transaction based on the estimated period, but it will change from time to time, so keep monitoring it.

Some great suggestions by the posters above. Free accelerators are hit and miss depending on various factors which is why I feel that RBF wallets are a bit better in comparison.

However, my favorite method is posting the TX IDs in Bitcointalk accelerator threads which I find to be extremely helpful.

Have you confirmed this, because not all wallets actually allows spending of unconfirmed transactions.

You’re right but since we have some nodes on full RBF, one can actually double spend a transaction that was broadcasted without RBF opt in, the problem is most SPV wallets do not allow it.

This could have been a better option for the OP to use, but since the OP did not share the TX, it's unclear how much the Op transacted, and as such, we can't determine if the fee is higher than the amount being sent. The best option is for the Op to either use a free accelerator or, better yet, try using a wallet that supports fee replacement and spending unconfirmed transactions. That's a far better option for him.
 
Or still, if not for privacy concerns, I could have also suggested he share the TX so that we can determine how much fee is needed to push that true and the size of the transaction. If that's what Viabtc Free Acceleration can be able to help with, then someone can help him submit it.

There are many ways to speed up your transaction but unfortunately, you are using a wallet which don't support RBF and CPFP, these two could be used to increase the transaction fee and thus it will automatically increase the chances of your transaction being processed earlier than before. But this wallet you are using doesn't support both. And other than this, all you can use it a transaction speed accelerator, there are many accelerator platforms like

• F2Pool
• ViaBTC
• BTC.com

You can use these platforms to accelerate your transaction on your own, do not hire anyone as I have seen many people are giving this as a service in the service section all they are doing is asking you to give them the transaction hash and then they insert that transaction hash in these accelerators, actually these accelerators are directly related with nodes and they don't increase the transaction that much but effective to some extent.

Some transaction will go fast and smooth if there's only few transactions but  if the transactions will go up to 1k plus then it has the priority and you can get that priority once your fee are beyond their minimum in short if your fee are big then you transaction will go smooth and fast but when you fee is too low then there's a chance that if you transact today maybe tomorrow will be successful cause their priority is those high feee.

Let me start by saying your question is well understood but you provided little than the needed information. What did you mean by the you used too-low fee for the transaction? You need to furnish us with the exact amount of the fee even if you cannot provide the transaction details directly here due to privacy.

I partly say this because I could see people suggesting ViaBTC to you which is the only free and reliable one, the others will just be rebroadcasting your transaction. But in layman's language, ViaBTC will only accelerate your transaction if it is about 18 Sat/vb. A little lower than that might still go but I have never used lower than that before. Should in case you use a too-low transaction fee than that, I'm afraid you might want to either wait for the congestion to subside and fees go back to normal or you accelate it with a fee.
