Why do you say that? I'm checking mempool.space for the past 72 hours and fees are low. There were only a few moments when I caught fees up to 6 sat/vByte and that's not very high. At the moment it's roughly 1 sat/vByte but even lower is enough. By the way, keep in mind that we are 273 blocks behind. I can't say that I've seen much of Bitcoin but to be honest, I have never seen such a high number before. Being 273 blocks behind means that once these blocks will be mined quickly, transactions will get confirmed very soon and fees will go significantly below 1 sat/vByte.
