Argentina is moving on, but it was an insanely dramatic match. Even during the group stage, the Cape Verde players showed they know how to get results against top teams, and the Africans put that skill to use against Argentina as well. I think the Argentines thought they would comfortably beat Cape Verde before the match, as their play after scoring the first goal was somewhat complacent. And the Cape Verde players punished them for that attitude. It seemed like Cape Verde would be able to drag the match to a penalty shootout and defeat Argentina there. However, the fairy tale didn't happen.

With the number of saves that the Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha had made in the game, many of the Argentina players would have been very intimidated having a penalty kick out against him. Even if Lionel Messi had gone on to score his own goal, the other players would have fidgeted because they may not have the same balls as Messi knowing that they have not faced as many prolific goal keepers as Lionel Messi has faced in his career, they may be intimidated by the figure of Vozinha and the saves he has made.

This is good and I must say the World Cup tournaments has been really helpful. I see a lot of tickets being won and people are making something out of it. People who didn't participate might actually be missing out. I and my team has won a couple of bets too, let me share with you our latest won ticket in the round of 32. It's really fun.

I think all teams will have 1 or 2 bad games. Luckily some of them used up the bad games in Group Stage. This was Argentina's bad game

Meanwhile, I should just learn to tell myself to trust my most confident picks and go for it instead of taping dumb things like 1.1 Spain (vs Cape Verde) or 1.2 England (vs Ghana like you showed!).

I could say the same thing for me, and I have many regrets playing on silly low odds like 1.15 or 1.20.
Favorites dont always win and we always see big surprise results in competitions like world cup.
Only good option for me in taking low odds is if I pick double chance or asian handicap, because chances for winning are much higher.

As much as the chances of winning are higher, I've personally never liked betting on favorite when the odds is below 1.8, when odds is below 1.8 on a favorite, doesn't matter how sure I am the favourite will or would win, I will find another closest market with odds at or above 1.8 on that same match to bet on, and if I don't find any market that has a high chance of winning with the expected odds, I will forget about betting on that match and look or wait for the next match to bet on..

The reason is simple, I don't like risking money on odds where the chances of losing is higher than the potential profit if won, like for example, some one risking $100 for just $5 to $10 profit, not my thing, I can't risk losing $100 because I try to make $10, who does that..? I will rather lose $100 chasing $200 or much more, reason why I always will prefer parley over single bets, though chances of winning is extremely low, but I can atleast expect alot of profit from a tiny bet 😁

And the latest dumb favorite was Argentina. I am really quite angry with myself here because I had some tickets with everything happening well, and I decided to use Argentina for a 'free' 15% boost to my tickets. So I had some already 4x or 5x, but adding Argentina was like making 5x = 6x. So greedy

Plus I also have them on my outright promo for another bookie so I won't get any freebets from there.

All in all, a really bad week and I'm still thinking why I didn't just leave Argentina out of ONE or TWO tickets.
