The last time i played PvP game was on Wintomato, in the chat there was a player sending a slots challenge to other players, if you play the buy in each user gets the same amount of free spins and the winner takes all. However, I agree on what he said about these PvP games. There should be someone on the other end that's going to be your opponent. If there's none, the boat won't be moving and you can't play because that's how PvP's are made.

That's why it's easier to just go with the typical and classical PvE games that you don't have to wait any longer to gamble.

There aren't a lot of PvP casino games I know of, as most of those I knew before didn't really caught off to the tastes of the gamblers and were just quietly retired. I think you are wrong about Stake having any PvP games, the link that you provided from the Stake forum... are simply a wish list from one of the players.

There are some games where the seed are shared, but the players are not competing against each other. Eddie have been hinting that PvP are coming to Stake, but it's been months and there are still nothing being implemented.

I would like to see a penalty shootout PvP gambling game. There's a penalty shootout Player vs. Player game available as a mobile app on Google Play, but it's not for gambling. How cool it would be, if we add a gambling element to a penalty shootout game. Both players bet a certain amount, they play penalty shootout(5 penalties each) and the one, who scores more goals wins everything(minus a casino fee).
I've never seen such game implemented in a casino and I would definitely play it, if some casinos decides to offer such game.

These games was probably new to me and I think it's worth a try to know these games considering I'm just into poker and similar traditional PvP games across casinos. I think they aren't that difficult to learn but I think it's worth attention considering it's still new for some I guess. A new game will probably peak some interest to those who may want to try it.

the common dilemma for this type of game is how the casino can sustain the interest of the players in the long term scenario. as we have noticed, very few survived having this kind of service. normally, players are only interested at the launch of the game while it is still new to their eyes. but as time passes by, and there's no more rewards or anything, these players will slowly go away as well.

It depends on the mindset and the point of view you could have on gambling and the rest of the people who partake in gambling on casinos. By the way, PvP literally stands for "Player versus Player" , so as long as both of the people involved are gamblers/players in equal conditions in the eyes of the house, then it indeed qualifies as a PvP game; regardless the game is supposed to be based on the skill of those playing or not.
Though, I won't deny that term "PvP" has been long associated with MMORPGs on the internet, where people usually combat each other using avatars or characters created by their own and using their skills to try to defeat their adversaries. Well, the only PvP I play is Poker, a few casinos have it in their arsenal. PvP in other casino games could be fun but it'll be hard to verify the validity and integrity of the said games, unless you know who you are playing against.
