I've said more than once that losing in gambling is as natural as winning. It is an integral part of gambling, so you need to learn to lose and not get depressed. Lose, stop, analyze what you could do wrong, rest for a week or two and only then you can gamble again. Besides gambling, I am also fond of trading, where losing trades are quite normal. The main thing is to follow your risk management and then everything will be fine.

If you are gambling for fun alone and not for profit, then it's possible that you can still have entertainment despite losing some. Although for sure disappointment will be felt along the way. But you can easily shrug it off because you don't mind about it so much unlike other people. It will just be a bonus and a reward if you will win. As someone who gambles for fun, I would like to answer this question. Yes, gambling is a form of fun for me but I cannot deny that I always think about the possibility of making big winnings when I gamble. Although, as I mentioned, I think about the possibility of making big winnings when I gamble, I can easily say that I never get upset when I consume my entire balance since I always gamble with an amount that I wouldn't be upset about if I lost, depending on my budget.

Matches left to the last minute in sports betting, the excitement of the roulette wheel spinning, the adrenaline I release when I approach 21 and ask for a card and the spin of slot machines have never been more than a form of fun for me. As I mentioned, when I gamble I play knowing that the chances of a big win are very low and I just have fun with the excitement of this process.

I think if you take gambling too seriously it will be detrimental to yourself.  I do have fun gambling even when I lose.  Putting a small amount of money on a sports game makes it real fun to watch and be able to cheer for one side when you otherwise wouldn't have watched the game.  Key is knowing you can lose the money and be OK with that.  Not saying it's not better to win but I use gambling as a form of entertainment.

When doing gambling then it would be always best that you should only make use of the amounts that you can afford to lose and never ever make spend of the hard earned money that you do have

I would make this argument on multiple thread topics because the game is separate from the money, dont be all about the money and nothing else as you will be easily played out and will frustrate yourself imo.      You can lose and gain at the same time, lose money gain experience, gain knowledge of how better to play in future this can be said to be a positive in sum total despite costing money perhaps consider it a lesson.

Yes it's obvious that there are lots of people in this condition instead of to back off they will consider how much they have spent how far they have gone backing off is like accepting defeats , and yes, I will rather accept that defeats than going further to lose all my money and pretend as if I am having fun. I had to quote your entire post because I love the fact that you were seeing things from my angle and not just trying to argue and most times when I rise an issue, I try as much as possible to avoid arguments but rather a peaceful deliberation and people have been writing as if I’m against the fact that gambling is fun which I’m not but rather what I was trying to say was that people shouldn’t act like they aren’t concerned about their losses especially when they are much simply because they claim they’re having fun when there are several activities one can do without having to risk their hard earned money and still get more entertained than gambling.
