Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

I have condemned this action of discussion before because the objective of everyone who is into gambling is to make money is not to gamble to catch fun but to ensure that you make money through,so those people who do say that gambling is all about fun I think that those people they are lying to their people, like me, I don't gamble because I want to gamble I gamble because I really wants win money, so if I tell anyone that the reason I'm doing such is to catch fun I'm telling them false information, because every gamblers have target and is ready to make money through gambling.

I get your point mate but the truth is that, there are still people who gamble basically for fun and I don’t want to dispute the fact anymore but just as I’ve said in previous time that, even if there are people who gamble for fun, that doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in the profits as winning a bet has its won special joy and feeling and that’s why it is always very difficult to say and argue that some persons gamble solely for fun.

And from my little research, I’ve been able to realize that most of these people claiming to gamble for fun aren’t really frequent with winnings and one major excuse to scale through with, is to claim they’re gambling for fun which I’m sure deep down they already know the reason why they’re gambling.

It depends what approach you are taking to gambling and whether you are participating in a skilled game, or at least one that does not have a pre-defined advantage to the house. Take poker for example, you might consider that losing money at the beginning is the price of admission and education to the game, over time your goal is to refine skills then close your leaks. Once you reach a tipping point of experience in a skilled game you can eventually weigh it in your favor. Other people honestly just don't mind losing, whether that is because they want to while away some free time and/or they have a big enough stack of money that they can do so. However a large portion will simply be putting on a brave face and be in a state of denial that about their winning track record.

This question you've just asked only reminds me of the last female World Cup when the Nigerian Supper Falcons played against England. What most Nigerians around me did was to stake that England is going to win Nigeria in that match
 And can you guess their thought process for making such prediction? They did that so if at the end of the day Nigeria wins, the excitement alone won't make them look at the money they had used in the gamble and if England wins, they know they've won in the gamble and will go back home with their money as a consolation for the loss in the world cup so you see that It was more of fun rather than literally looking for money. Some people just want to place their money on a particular team because of the faith they have in that team and regardless of the outcome, they don't take It seriously. 

I’m sure you already know that at the end of day what they did was prediction and analysis as at the long run, they wanted to hit two birds with just one stone which wouldn’t be possible but whatever the case might be, I’m already on the opinion that more people are majorly into gambling to make profits and that can’t be over emphasized and no matter how much fun we claim we’re having, if we sincerely analyze the whole system m, you’ll notice that winning a bet comes with its own excitement which can’t be overlooked.

There's no fun in losing and this is why it would really be that important that you should really know about on how to dealt on with up on the time that you would be able to experience

Gambling is hard. The game favors the house. However, smart people can turn the tables, and I know. Information and discipline are qualities I admire highly. You can enhance your odds but not win every hand.

Maybe for lossing a small nominal according to each of them (because this small amount can be different for each player), they will consider losing money as if the money fell on the street. For me personally I haven't found any fun from gambling except winning. LOL

But imagine those people who go into the casino who are really there to lose their money. Like they are really happy losing money for the thrill and excitement. When they win, they feel ashamed or undeserving of the success of win they've got so they give all the credits to luck. No one is ever happy while losing in gambling because the core essence of taking risk is to have a successful outcome. gambling is actually fun when you are winning, and it is quite interesting when your predictions are accurate but if you are losing in gambling there is this ugly impression in your face that shows that you have lost a thing of value. gambling ordinarily is two sided either you lose or win which invariably implies that you celebrate your winning and endure your loss.

sincerely speaking i feel very bad while losing in gambling because it makes me feel very discouraged, depressed and mental stressed but when you are winning in gambling it gives you the impression that you are making an improvement, and you will feel very relaxed to select other games and stake. lastly losing is inevitable but can be ameliorated in gambling and there is no one above loss anyone can lose in gambling however, if you win you celebrate it and if you lose you take it like that.

The pleasure of gambling is gained in the process of gambling or during winning, not from losing. We are all used to paying to watch a movie in the theater, but we are not upset when the movie ends. The process of watching a movie allows for different emotions. In the process of gambling the same thing happens, only the emotions are much brighter.
