Did you say hodl it for 10 years? I wouldn't even advise anyone to hold Shib or any other memecoin beyond this bull run. For me, the end of this bull run should be in 2025. Anyone who plans of keeping their hodl of altcoins beyond that should be careful. Some altcoins will dump and will never recover from the cataclysmic fall the next bear season will bring. Already, I hope you've noticed how the market is dragging now since the news that Mt Gox has started repaying the Bitcoin it hedl to its customers? Have you read about that? This is causing the Bitcoin market to slump a bit because of the uncertainty that surrounds what the actions of those customers would do when they eventually get them. Will they dump or continue to hodl? No one knows yet.

No one knows what will be the price of Shiba Inu after 10 years but there is a possibility that it could reach 0.002$ however, since it wasn't created for adoption it's very risky to hold such a big amount 1b Shib is around $10k and take note it's not a coin but a token, unlike Dogecoin.

If I were you instead of investing all of your money in Shiba why not diversify your investment and not focus on Shib because there are lots of other options that have more potential compared to Shiba Inu like Solana or Cardano.

If you are sure of what you think about the Shiba inu, be it, there is nothing wrong with it, and in the end, you will be the one who benefits from the result of your belief in it. You must also be aware of the risk that exists in meme coins, right? Only a few of the meme coins we can really say have the potential to make a profit.

In the short term, like what I am currently doing, I can actually get a profit here at SHIB at the same time as PEPE because they can give me the same profit every day. As long as I hit my target percentage immediately one day, I stop immediately the next day.

1 Billion Shiba Inu correct price is $10,780 which is not a big amount for many people who has enough earning source and financial status enough strong. so if op is like that then i think he afford to invest this amount. there is a high risk to invest in Meme coin but it is also high profit potential. so if op can take the risk then he/she can invest. but i am agree with you that he think twice to invest in meme coin this amount like $10.7k+

Many people are discussing this coin but it doesn't seem safe to me. It is doubtful whether the coin will even be in the market for 10 years at current coin prices. Buying a billion coins and holding them for 10 years is a big deal, I wouldn't do that at all from my place. I would have bought bitcoins with the amount of money that would buy 1 billion of these coins and held them for a long time.  Shiba Inu Coin will be in a good position for a while, we think by looking at its market volume, but even if its price changes, it will not last long. Investing in this coin seems too risky. I would definitely invest in Bitcoin without taking this extra risk.

the thing with shiba inu is that its already peaked so long ago I think, there's just no way its gonna be increasing that massively again in the future, after all shiba inu is quite similar with doge already have too much of a market capitalization.
if you are thinking for holding long term then I guess it will do at least hold until the next bullrun but the thing with meme coin is that it might not long lasting you know shibareum does absolutely nothing to the price nobody anticipating it therefore the price didnt move a bit, the only thing that drives meme coin like shiba inu is just the community driven hypes that helps a lot in increasing the prices.

That would probably be the worst way to invest 10 thousand dollars ever. I am not saying that you shouldn't, because that is not even a suggestion, it is not even an advice, it is literally common sense that you shouldn't. It's like should I set my money on fire, in theory are you allowed to set fire to your own money? Of course you are, nobody will stop you if you do that, but at the same time why would you do that? People's interest in meme coins is always high because they expect more profit with less investment. It peaked in 2021 which was may 71 cents but that doge coin could not go above 15 cents in these two years and it is not possible to say whether it will reach that high in the future or not as there are more meme coins in the market which have created huge hype in the market.

When Shib first joined Binance there were no meme coins compete with it but many meme have already entered the market which now has much bigger competitors. But if you are determined to invest here long term then I must say do better research. I won't discourage you, but before investing in meme coins, review its various aspects logically.

There is an endless supply and all the demand comes from the fact that it will rise in the future without a real project or user base. 1. Making a custodial wallet and holding up assets for long years isnt advisable.
2. Store SHIB into those wallets which you do fully have access or possess its keys

The only one that can answer this question is yourself since its your own money you are investing. But if Shiba will reach $0.002? No I doubt it, it's to many new project coming and already more attractive meme coins.
So IMO it would be a stupid decision. I would dig deeper for a better coin/token to invest in. But nobody knows and if no risk no reward, so if you feel it's worth a shot, go! Don't listen to others it will just make you insecure about your decision.
