Not that people can't make money in trading but the use of their right trading system (creation and blending) and plans, and with the right psychology are difficult for them, so it is better to stick to the investment which is less risky and tasking. If done, you might not need anything for the rest of the year or in years but to watch your asset grow. About the altcoins, well, it is an option, and a very good one at that. I do not think it is wise to have Bitcoin only in all your arsenal now. This is unless you have struck it at a very low price. This year should bring in even more highs, we have see nit go up to a price it hasn't been for a long time already and we are not even two full weeks in, so it's obvious that it is going to be a good year. The year 2023 ended well and the beginning of 2024 was going fairly well but lately there have been a lot of losses in the trading portfolio. Since there is no bad news in the market and Bitcoin has not fallen too much, we can look forward to something good. But I still hope to get through 2024 very well. This topic is about Investing, not about Trading. They are two different things too as Trading can not be Investing and Investing can not be Trading.

You can have success easily with Trading in 2024 and 2025 because the market is bullish, if you buying low, selling high with patience to hold for a while, you will get profit easily.

It is possible if you only trading with Spot market, because if you trading with Leverage/ Futures markets, you will be liquidated by using high leverages. Even 3x leverage can be risky enough for market liquidations.
