~snip~
The gambler had their own winning and losing story, but he need to motivate himself on the losing story begin.Because when the losing was possible in the gambling, the gamblers should accept their will be the next story of winning. The gambler who able to control themselves with the game can able to make the biggest money in the gambling site. The gamblers who can control to the temptation of playing more game after the big winning able to withdraw the funds from the gambling site. The rest of the gamblers will lose their money in the gambling site by the greedy on the gambling game.Greedy was the enemy to the gamblers to get satisfied with the dollars which he won based on their ability.
Most gamblers who lose are unable to motivate themselves and will instead continue gambling because they think they can still win the gambling game even though it will still be difficult for them. When they lose, they should be able to understand that it is a sign to stop their gambling activities before the loss becomes even bigger. They must be able to control themselves from the temptation that will come after they lose, and that can make them return to gambling. That is why they must continue to exercise self-control so as not to be tempted by the offers they see at the casino. And when they win, they also don't need to tell anyone they know about their win because that is the gambler's privacy.

From your point of view, telling success stories in gambling is very important. You should be happy about your wins, but you should also think about how they might affect other people. Getting hooked on gaming is very dangerous, and people who are already hooked may use success stories to keep gambling instead of getting help. Be aware of the different things people around us are going through and be careful when we talk about these things. People can make the gambling community more helpful and understanding by being aware of what might happen if people share their wins and tell others about their good luck.

It's like for example Instagram: people share perfect images about their apparently perfect lives. The problem is that, many times, it is all fake and, even if someone managed to get such a perfect life, sharing it so other people with normal or even miserable lives see and compare them is not very ethical.

With gambling, I can understand that people who win big can be eager to share their victory with others, but remember that people who lose don't often talk about it, so only sharing these good news creates a false impression about a very different reality that can be devastating to sensitive people who often lose.

Don't confuse the exception with the norm.
In gambling advertising especially social media post like stake.com doing they talk about both winning and losing to grab people's attention. They want to make it exciting, so they mention the possibility of getting prizes but also say that sometimes you might not win. This way they get both people who like taking risks and people who are careful about losing money to pay attention. It's like telling a story that makes gambling seem more interesting to a lot of different people.

Yes, I completely agree with the OP. Even if you wanted to show off to your friends, relatives or other people, they will probably think about the game and they will definitely have an irresistible desire to play. They will do this with thoughts like “why am I worse than him or other winning players” or they just want to test their luck. And even if the player starts to lose, he will bet more and more furiously with each bet, trying to make the winnings higher than you told him. Behind these stupid actions will be human envy, depression, anger that a person has accumulated, whether at work or anywhere else.

The main thing I want to say is that even when telling someone about our victories, we seem to invite the person to play, but at this moment we don’t realize it, because we just want to show ourselves higher, increase our worth, or just show off like a little boy, and not an adult and reasonable person.

I don't think we need to boast it big here yet just because of the euphoria you get when you hit a huge win it is normal you want to publish it somewhere where it will get glorified, like this forum. However I agree that we should not overdo it and it would be enough to just share the bet slip that you won it.I don't like sharing the replays anymore as it can have bad consequences on people watching the replay who can go and try to get that huge win themselves.

Well, you do have a point, but sometimes it's not bad to share your achievements. Let's put it this way: you are a humble person who is gambling and suddenly wins a jackpot. Now a days, people have the habit of posting on social media about great things to them, so it can't be helpful to share those experiences, just not in the form of flexing or showing off to the people or viewers of your post or story. Also, be prepared, as many people might have different views about you doing gambling. It can't be helped because we are in a social media era where discrimination and saying bad stuff to others are scattered or are becoming a norm or habit for many people. So if you want a quiet life and you are winning at gambling, it's much better to stay low-key and do what you want without someone judging you.

That's right, I have the same view as you which is that I think bragging about winning in gambling is not really necessary, I understand that it is a great achievement especially if the amount of victory is very large which makes me think it is natural if you want to brag by publicizing it to others, especially some of your friends who are also gamblers, it doesn't matter because everyone always wants to look superior to others, but it is unnecessary to brag in an excessive way. One of the disadvantages is that it is very likely that some of your friends who are also gamblers will eventually ask for or claim the right to the amount of winnings that you have won, no problem if you are willing to share it, but if it turns out that you are one of the stingy people then obviously this situation will cause problems in your friendship with them. And besides that, as you said, there is a possibility of adverse effects that can be experienced by people who see it, there is a possibility that they will try to pursue the same winnings as you get with the aim of bragging back to you, but the worry is when they are not as lucky as you in the sense that they will spend more money.

It should be noted that not all gamblers share success stories because they want people to gamble. Most people who share success stories on their pages want subscribers so they can make money. This person can go to the length of fabricating stories just to make gambling so lucrative. Even when we consider the bookies it is still their mode of advert. They make winning so easy and this is so because they want more players so that they can make more money.

-snip-

Oh, I totally agree with you, that was not what I meant. Of course, most people share their victories not in order to sell anything, but as a protection mechanism like another member answered before or, imo, because we often like to pump our selfs when we are successful by showing these moments to others. This behavior os not specific to humans, but there is no doubt that our species behaves that way too.

Here in my country I have seen many people who, when they don't have money, don't post anything, they are completely anonymous people, it seems like they aren't alive because they disappear for a long time. but these same people, when they earn a lot of money thanks to some business or job, they start to carry out a wide campaign of exhibitionism on social networks, when men are posting photos with very expensive clothes and in luxurious places, they post a lot of cars and women and luxury food. I honestly constantly wonder what the purpose is for them to do these kinds of things, although I suspect they do it because they want to be admired and loved in society. but the problem with that is that the thieves, the criminals, the kidnappers when they look at this

They are seeing a great opportunity to steal from the house of that person who keeps posting luxury things, when they are women, when they don't have money they don't post anything about themselves, but when they have money they start posting photos with exaggeratedly short clothes. and they post food and luxury places, because the rich will invite them to travel to luxury places and give them money, in other words, they are prostituting themselves. The problem with this is that when they are old, they no longer have that beautiful body, and they go looking for a man to marry and will only end up with a man who is characterless, violent and a liar and who every day will be condemning them for their past. That's why, in my opinion, people shouldn't focus on showing off on social media. should live without showing off

Which turns out to be that always a part of us eh? on having that kind of moments on which we do really just focus on sharing out the winning moments and not on to those who are losing on which it is really just that normal on having that kind of behavior on which people would really be that having those kind of approach when it comes into this specific condition.
Going back into the thing about trying to tell on your winning moment then its none others business on how you would really be making out those sayings into public.
It is really just that depending into someone if they would really be finding out themselves to be that getting inspired into the moments that someone do make out
those winnings.

Of course gambling wins are exciting and come sometimes with logical celebrations. However it is not a proper practice to make ones gambling wins drive him to gamble more or gamble less. Yes some gambling activities are based mainly on analytical skills and experience but it still always has a percentage dedicated to luck.

Now when we make some money whether through gambling or not, most of the time we can get so excited we tend to break the news to a whole bunch of persons. But the truth is not all of these persons are happy when they see you happy especially when it comes to you hitting a jackpot. Due to this reason some of this persons may want to harm you directly or indirectly because they envy you. Therefore I think it is best that when sharing news of your winnings if necessary, you try as much as possible to keep the circle small.

Showing off our winnings to close friends or co-workers will only trigger them to gamble like we do, they will definitely think that they too can win if they try continuously and without realizing this can give rise to a gambling addiction because they are too ambitious to win big, they should aware that gambling is full of risks and it is not easy to win large amounts of gambling if they are not lucky because gambling is a luck-based game.

But someone who wins at gambling will definitely not be able to keep quiet, they will definitely tell their friends about their win because they feel that something is missing if they haven't told them about their win because they are proud of the results they got which are not easily achieved by many people. This doesn't need to be said because apart from causing envy, this can also make people who are addicted to gambling give up their intention to stop gambling.

I have never really understand why people boast about the profits they got through gambling, since it is not as if they got those profits through their skill, and instead they just got lucky to win in that instance.

And even if the win was the result of your skill, it still makes no sense to boast about it, as you never know who may be monitoring your account and they may target you now that you know that you have some money at your disposal and they may try to steal it.

In the process of adrenaline and joy of a player who has just won a lot of money, of course, you can commit light, rash acts, this is completely normal. I don't see anything bad for a player to write about this on the forum. And if he doesn’t take his money back to lose it, then he will have a lot of wonderful things in life. Of course, he will not think about those who want to repeat his success, but there will be hundreds and thousands who will not be able to do this.

Thanks to social networks, tens of thousands of photos appear every day with the beautiful lives of people, and sometimes it seems to me that nothing can surprise me anymore. Probably if I were swiping and came across this photo with a win, I would devote 5 seconds to it and no more, and then I would simply forget about it. This concerns me, but there will be those people who will be interested in this and they will just want to know what gambling is, register and start playing. Then they will be sad when they find out that behind that beautiful photo with a win, there was a lot of lost money.

So gamblers who are out there and having fun to share their joy with the others could be the suspect of others mishap and sadness because they're not lucky at that day?

That's true, while people think that those that have happily shared their winnings and photos think that it is only it. No, there has been an adventure that gone through with that and that's what they need to understand that it is not only about the winning but also how much losses that sharer/gambler have gone through so just be happy with them if they're happy. It's free to be happy for other people.

I don't see the need to show off in the first place. I don't actually know why people do that because my definition of wealth is that it should be used to help humanity and not oppress them. Flaunting one's wealth is actually oppressive and I do not subscribe to that in any way whatsoever.

Looking at it from another perspective, how you go about with the publicity of your winning depends on your safety. If you are from a neighborhood where disclosing your finances will pose a security threat to you, then there will be no need letting anyone know you have a winning. On the other hand, if such publicity does not generate any form of security threat, then there shouldn't be any problem with sharing with friends and associates. However, in my own case, I love my privacy so all information about my gambling stays with me.

Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed. I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place. You do not know the story of every gambler, and on the face some gamblers may just look alright but in deep down they are in debt, some depressed due to addiction to gambling that is destroying them and has made them plan to quit. Your success story when shared indiscriminately may trigger and motivate this addicted gambler battling to stop to want to keep gambling, having the believe that their time is close. Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.
You are right dear. Your success story is another person sad story. People hate to hear you talk about your success, but when you talk about your sad story they will be claiming they have pitty for you, but deep down they are happy for your downfall. Note people don't want to hear or see your success but always want to see you below them. It's not all about telling them your success story, but also don't seek advice from people on how to succeed in life because they will never advice you on how you can succeed more than them. Rather suggesting a way for you to be lesser than they think of you. So let's be mindful of how we tell people things about our private life because it has a negative implications there after. I watched a video online that say" it's better to Work hard in silence and let your success speak for you" and alway don't post your success on social media rather you can post unnecessary things to get rid of There attention on you. Then when you have finally succeed you can post your success story when they have no time to advise you anymore.

Because they feel proud of their victory which their friends can't get so they show it off, even though this may not be important to their friends and they don't get any benefit other than they are thirsty for their friends' praise because they can win the gambling, maybe they will get praise. and applause, but apart from that, his friends will definitely want to ask him for a portion, either with a treat or just a drink to celebrate. But deep down he was very happy and hoped that his friends would also follow in his footsteps and continue gambling so they could win like him.

Bragging about it is pointless and actually triggers other friends to continue gambling and chasing losses, which can make a person uncontrollable.
This thing is indeed a kind of trick in casinos to attract users by making it profitable for users to continue gambling, therefore, if we can win at gambling, don't ever be greedy, immediately take your winnings and stop gambling for a while.

Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. Yes it much very true and I also have a story of mine that I do win but in trading I can basically earn 100$ in 2 hours I tell my friend and that night I just lost all of it including the first balance that Im using for my first trade.

There some youtube short say if you winning don't tell everybody or you gonna lose after it, and somehow this is very true.

Its just coincidence i would say because whether you do tell or not about something then it cant still be able to assure whether you would be losing or winning into the next one and this is how gambling do works.

If you do hear out someone about their winning then just let them be,we know that it is one of the most common behavior of someone whenever they do able to hit up some wins
and they would really be focusing into that on which they do really believe that they could be able to beat up gambling and make those continous wins. For those who do able to hear out
those kind of declaration or able to read it up. Then to those who arent that good when it comes to emotion would really be having that kind of some emotion boost up
on which they would really be that able to hear it out.

We do know that there are people who would really be that easily get attached when someone does have those kind of declaration and
celebrating that they have won something.Loses would be normally be kept secret of course.

Yes, that's correct. We have to choose anyone who can know about our win so that news of the win does not spread to many people. Moreover, we don't know who will later find out that we have won a lot of money from gambling. That can cause problems for us because they can ask us for money and say that asking for a little money will not reduce the winnings we get. But I don't know if telling other people can make us lose all the money because I just heard about that. Maybe it's just a coincidence. But I agree with the short sentence you said that don't tell everyone about our win. We must decide with whom we will share our win and who we will invite to celebrate it.
