It's called gambling right?, so it sure happens to everyone once in a while, I am actually not a regular bettor, so, let me say that I have never really experienced this which you said, but then, I have friends who are hard core gamblers, sports bettors and so on, and almost on a regular basis, one of two persons do come around complaining of how he or she feels so so very bad, and when I ask why, its always about a bet that he or she was very very close to winning, but either the other team, or the VAR spoiled it for them by either canceling what could have being a winning goal for them, or crediting a goal that isn't supposed to be credited.

I have experienced what you are narrating here and it is not a good feeling. There were times the last selection always cut my bets and I was thinking I was being monitored by the bookies. It can actually be frustrating.

I think this is somehow obvious given that most people view gambling as a means of earning extra income or profit. Given that most gambling ads advertise the chances of winning huge amounts of money (e.g. jackpot prizes, cars, etc.), no wonder that most people feel frustrated after losing due to this hope that they failed to achieve.

While this may be true, I do think that this happens also to people who gamble rarely. They just want to attempt and try their luck, checking if they can potentially beat the significantly low odds of winning the jackpot.

Sometimes this situation can cause insanity. especially when you are about to win almost $30000. that is true, a sure win is when the game is over and you got your winnings on hand. otherwise, the chance of losing your bet is always there. this is why don't ever celebrate early because you can still be on the losing end even if the odds are in favour with your bet. maybe it is only on your mind that you feel you are very assured with your bet winning.

I've actually had this particular experience before and trust me, it's one of the most annoying thing in gambling, or sports betting rather, I've had a multi-bet of 8 solid games, a game my mentor researched so well and we were very confident, like over confident that we will win it, I staked almost every thing I had on that game, and same goes my mentor.

All the games played in our favor except the last one, at a particular point, I was going to actually cash out since I already made a good profit from that bet, but on a second thought, I decided to leave it since it was just one game remaining, as I thought that if the other seven played on our favor, why won't the last one as well do the same.

And all were going well, Infact, it was just about 3 or 4 minutes remaining for the game to come to an end and we will win our multi bet, the other team scored, and that was it, the end, that was how we lost the bet.
