Yes, it wont really be that an issue if you are really that willing  to spend and to lose all the money that you had thrown out on purchasing tickets. Literally speaking when it comes to math about the odds on winning then
having more tickets will really be increasing your odds on hitting up the jackpot but if we do really tend to zoom out and look at on the bigger picture on how it do looks like on which you would really be able to realize

Lottery ticket is cheap and I think everyone can afford it. And we all know that this is luck base game so maybe others will just go and buy a single ticket and hope that they will win the lottery just like that. I've done it a couple of times before when I was new to lottery. Sadly it brought about zero changes so I just gave up on trying to win (though I do every now and then buy two or three more tickets) and just spent the rest of whatever I planned to spend with scratch tickets since they give out immediate gratification, which is kind of addictive tbh but hey, it is what it is. I’m not buying more tickets because what difference it can make to increase my winning chance rate. Winning a lottery is much harder than being struck by a lightning twice. It’s game of hard core luck and the only time buying more tickets to increase winning chance rate make sense is when you are pouring out tons of money until you cover at least 70% above winning chance rate.

Buying a single ticket is enough for me to enjoy this game. This is PCSO which means we have same country. BTW I bet on all of those draw with huge jackpot but failed to even hit 3 digits above on my tickets.

Lottery is totally based on luck so if you are lucky then 1 ticket is enough for you to win.  But if you are unlucky, even a thousand tickets won't win you.  So I don't think buying multiple tickets is a good decision.  I never buy more than 1 ticket.  I don't know what others think but this is what I think in my thoughts. Just for an update about this lottery drawing, it has not yet hit, so there, is an additional 14 million pesos or $251k, total pot is now $10,561,610.05 we'll see if the winner of this lottery bought more tickets or just relied on one ticket, I bought 2 tickets today, unfortunately, I did not hit any number  I'll update this thread on Saturday if there's a hit.

That's my belief, everything is controlled by the government. Here in Brazil, this year we had the biggest prize in history in the country's main lottery. This certainly motivates many people to bet, and I was also one of them, as I bet much more than I should have, and I didn't win anything

However, here the main difference and motivator for betting is not so much the amount drawn, but rather because the last lottery of the year is special... the prize does not accumulate, that is, there must be a winner. This means that if no one wins with the 6 dozens drawn, then the prize goes to whoever got just five right.
Then the chances increase.

But this year, 5 people managed to get all 6 draws right and I only got 3 right in a "pool" (collective bet) of more than 2000 bets.
