Let me start by saying "Happy New Year!" This will be our year indeed.
I must say that I am happy to read this write-up of yours, and the reason is nothing other than I have overcome most of what you wrote here, which could only mean that I have already improved myself. As to what I take seriously, being the better version of myself yearly is what I try to work well on and monitor year in and year out, and for you to advise people of them all means that many might still not work on any of them yet. This is a call for change as anyone who doesn't have any meaningful thing changed for good yearly is not fit to be called wise and mature. These days, I am surprised at how much I have improved in my life, when I flash back 20 years ago, I am so appreciative and I give myself kudos for being sensitive to what needed change and for depriving myself of them until changes happen. Although many things need to be pointed out in this regard if you would elaborate, and if I started labelling them, I would still be writing over 100 points, however, I will limit it to the scope of what you wrote to avoid too much cumbersomeness.
Bad character, Making hasty decisions, Fear of taking business risks and Ungratefulness are the things of the past in my life as I always force myself to do the right thing and be responsible to people, my family and myself, and the same thing goes for being grateful. Without hyping it, I am grateful to fault, it is actually my weakness because if you are good to me, I will multiply the gesture. While the fear of taking business risks was overcome in a few years ago. The first issue I had then was a scarce income source, but immediately that ended, I took business risks and I must say that it has been good so far. I urge everyone to take risks too, but we still have to be wise in that. It is not all risks that are worth taking, take only the risk that you know is worth it. Don't just jump on the business you do not know much about as that will only amount to risks within risks, which makes it riskier. What to do is to carefully study it, the plausibility of making money in it matters, and so is the risk involved. Also, the challenges that can be faced there must be known and the time of the profit materialization. All these and more should be able to convince the person to do it or not as it is not all risks worth taking.
Making a hasty decision is also not my thing, I think it is for immature and unwise people. But when it comes to Procrastination, I am guilty a little bit. I have been working harder to win it completely, I hope that this year will afford that for me. Conclusively, I scored myself high, can you see the reason why I started with happiness? It means that I have so little to change and shows how progressive I am. Everything is not about money, good behaviour and living go a long way too.
