However, a lot has changed recently as gambling has become one of the biggest business here. As a result of that, societal perception has also improved as many testimonies of life-changing wins from gambling has emerged.

That is most people perception about gamblers in general and parents in particular.I can understand them as most of the cases they have only learned for gambling through media and usually the media pumps more the bad things rather than those life changing wins.Most parents are so intimidated by different bad stories thrown by the media so it is only normal that they are worried.Life changing events are rare while bad stories are common and that makes gambling look more hazardous rather than beneficial.

In my neighborhood Gambling is almost like an "I gamble" or "I don't gamble"thing. Although no one would force you into gambling but I feel there's this unseen force of pressure that will pull a non-Gambler with Gambler friends to start gambling. It will be boring having a conversation with a friend or group of friends who are gamblers and you cannot contribute anything to the conversation. This is a reason why youths gamble. At the moment I feel it is a trend that will pass with time but before it does, the scar of addiction would be forever there.

There is not street you will enter in my town that you will not likely see a betting agent. They are just everywhere. In my street which is very small, there are two betting agents there and there are more that want to come but not permitted because of the two that have been there and still there now. If you are gambling, it is nobody's business in my area and that is how my country is.

It’s still based on the culture of the country to change perceptions about gambling like in my country which gambling will always associated as bad image for common people that doesn’t involve in any gambling activities.

Probably your area is already saturated by people that is already open minded to gambling that makes them converted to gambling believer due to the word on the mouth in the street. This is not applicable to all country but I will not be surprised if more country will be open to gambling (except Asian) because of the rise of online casino popularity.

The perception of gambling in the eyes of society is considered as bad behavior, especially gambling is prohibited in the country, so of course parents will tell them to avoid these people.

Because there have been many changes, especially with online gambling which is increasingly widespread, people use it, it cannot be avoided this change even though many have advised it, but I myself, who gamble online, am not considered a gambler by the people in my neighborhood because they don't know what I am doing, this is also the same thing that people around here do because with online gambling they can be private which is not known to many people.

There are plenty of countries that the market for gambling was liberalized very recently.
Of course some will take up the opportunity to gamble and enjoy themselves but this doesn't change the mindset of people.

Indeed back in the village many people will see gambling as something utterly evil, so if you indulge to it publicly and frequently some people might not even let their children look at you. People that follow religion very closely think it's right to judge people instead of just letting god judge... Well no real reason to pay that much attention imo.

If you visit my place, you will not find a single gambling place that has an official license, except for illegal gambling and even that is very closed, only certain people can visit there. Where I live, both by law and culture and customs, my place strictly prohibits all forms and types of gambling. but, still for people who like it, even though gambling is prohibited, they will do it. including me. I personally gamble more often online and if I want to play at an offline casino that has an official license, then I have to go out of town which is quite far away.

Most of the people around me are still fanatical about gambling, they are strongly against gambling, but there are some of them when they come home, they secretly gamble online, and stupidly they tell me about it. And I do not condone all forms and types of gambling... whatever the reason, we cannot force other people to like the same things we do. namely gambling.

This is so because most of the influencers that stream their games often win, hence the connotation that there are a lot of gamblers that also win a lot on their games. For me I think that the dynamics of the way they see gamblers now is changing and that is because of the economic situation that I think job scarcity has caused. To start with there are so many apps enabling gambling online and offline, so that has actually led to the awareness of gambling. Gamblers do not have a good perception in my environment, either within the village or in a wider scope. Wanting to get a good perception from the environment regarding gambling activities for reasons that can be accepted by common sense, is just like hoping in a dream.
If gamblers don't get a good response, especially when they become business people.
There is no acceptable good place for a gambling business.

You can see gambling everywhere in my country, whether it's indoors or outdoors.   But there is an opinion among the people around you that once you start a habit of gambling, there are 2 possible outcomes that will come to your life. Ethier, you will be successful if you win big, like in the lottery, which is one of the most well-liked bets in our nation. I've been to different neighborhoods with gambling stores and I can categorically say that their views about gambling differs. To some neighborhood, they see anyone that wants to gamble as someone who isn't responsible and shouldn't be associated with while to other neighborhoods especially the developed areas, they see gambling as a normal activity that any adult can engage themselves in. So as a gambler, whenever you find yourself in a new environment, try and know their own perception about gambling as that will help you to know how to engage in your activities.

if you are a gambler, there may be people you don't wanna know you gamble especially your inlaws but this changed my view as well when my inlaw himself shared his experience about his gambling spree.  he told a head-shaking story i almost don't believe because he doesn't strike me as a gambler.

he said once upon a time, he didn't have enough money to buy milk for his newborn daughter, he watched the game "Hantak" in which 3 coins had to lay heads or tails together to win. he won every time that night and went home with a bunch of diaper boxes and a huge powderedmilk can.

I live in environment not take care more about our activities or job, almost my neighborhoods not care yet what your business and how many hours every day spend in gambling because many of them focus on their self only just take care or communicate with daily activities only.
I don't think with have many cryptocurrency gambling will make your neighborhoods know you are gambler, hidden your self from gambling and make it  in your house only without show them about gambling as your side activities.
But if you not comfortable with neighborhoods around your environment, not bad ideas moving to hidden place where not any one know about your activities about gambling.

In my country, things are quite similar. In the past, people who gambled were often viewed as irresponsible and without a proper job. This created a negative perception of gambling, with many societies considering it an illicit activity. If someone was caught gambling or became addicted, society tended to distance itself from that person.

Today, in my country, the younger generation has elevated gambling to a new status. Many youths now make a living from gambling, which might be seen as wrong and irresponsible. However, in the challenging economic conditions of our country, the money they earn from gambling is often used to support themselves and their families.

Until now, it seems that gamblers are seen as bad by the people in my area because once there was a case of a young gambler who killed a grandmother because he was caught robbing her house, since then in the eyes of the community, gamblers are like a disgrace, where sometimes people act wildly when they are addicted to gambling such as robbing and committing other crimes. Since then, I prefer gambling outside the house rather than gambling openly in public, visible to the people in my neighborhood.

I don't think the societal perception improved just because of testimonies from gamblers about their life-changing wins or because gambling has become one of the biggest industry. what I think helped improve people's perception about gamblers a lot is that we know more about the mentl issues gamblers can experience, their struggles, how can it happen, etc...

Actually, here in my neighborhood people do not actually care about what other do with their money, in that sense, this is a good place for people who would like to keep their privacy intact, as long anything is done behind the walls of one's home.
This is the kind of city where gossip is not a big deal, or at least, that is the impression I have got with all the years I have here, I may be biased because I am not personally interested in partaking in gossip myself, though.

Now, if we imagine an hypothetical situation where my neighbors somehow encountered my in a casino or gambling in any establishment I assume there would be so minor gossip about it, but it would be forgotten quickly and people wont pay much more attention about me being a gambler. My family trust me enough when comes to managing money and they won't get frightened by rumors.

Though, if your society is different and people around you would make a big deal or those rumors I would not be surprised, keeping in mind the big stigma gambling carries on countries in the east of the planet.
