I am happy we all have seen the New year and it is a big start for us to see the historical price of Bitcoin for every New year so that we would take a bold step in accumulating more Bitcoin before the next year comes. We did not experience crash as the price is ranging between $42k and $43k. We shall celebrate the start of the with happiness and joy of fulfillment while watching at the market price.

You mean January 1, 2025? Not sure if 6 digits could be reach this month. But if we target January 1, 2025 then it's possible.

There's a lot of positive news already, and it's just like 100%++ on the current price. Our lowest low in this bear trend is $15,500 and we more than double that in November last year.

So if we are in a bull run and the current price is $45k at January 1, then if we do math, it's possible that $100k could be reach next year as we are going to be in a massive bull run 2024-2025.

The market looks like we are in a bull run but i don't think we are there yet. Let us not be carried away by the fast increase in the price of Bitcoin last month and early this year. Although 50k will be attained before the next halving which is to be expected this year.

I will be the happiest if by next year January 2025 the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k. This is because i believe i have reach my investment target for last year. Which i will be expecting some profits. However, i have set a new target for this year and am gradually accumulating the Bitcoin with my dca strategy.

For some reason this doesn't really feel like as good as Christmas one, seems like there were some downs and ups here and there, which caused it to be a bit different. I believe that the best thing we could do at this given moment would be just not look at the historical data to make our predictions, but also be ready for what is about to come as well. I believe that 2024 will definitely a bull year, this is why we should give it some time and see what it does, I believe that we are going to end up with something that would benefit everyone. This should not be a big deal if we didn't really know what could happen, we just need to focus on what we could do with what we see, and I am sure that its going to end up being better.

I do agree that 100k is possible by next year, but at the same time I am not holding my breath over that.
I think we could be somewhere more realistic, like maybe 60 to 70k, barely near the ATH or barely over it. Then in 2025 we could see it grow up a lot more. I think that's the key factor here, we should be considering these type of changes as much as we possibly could. I know that people are not going to be all that convinced that we are going to stay "lower" this year, too many people are hyped about it, but I believe that given enough time, we are going to slow down, and we should be careful.

I think 2025 is a much better year for a big big bull run, like 150k+ maybe, and that is why I am going to keep accumulating as much as possible. I do not think that it will get too high this year, halving will usually make it stay for a while and go up after a while, that has been the case in the past, it did not go up right after, it waited a few more months before starting to go up.

I believe no matter what, with or without ETF, we are heading to the positive direction.
And also, the likelihood that the price will increase is very high because of the adoption that we have today.
As we have seen, the historical price is quite motivating. Because the price itself can give you the notion that this market is very promising.

I have to check if it's like this for straight consecutive three years. For 2021 and 2022, you're right.

But with 2023, it's not $46k but it's just around $16k+ so that should be corrected.

If you mean 2025, this could indeed happen. Because considering that the halving and bullish market will occur soon, there is a possibility that your prediction could be correct. Because from January 2020 to 2021, the price development is very clear. So next year too, I don't think it will be much different from 2021. Because in 2025 a bullish market will definitely be underway.

That's possible. If it is below $100,000, it would be near that price. It is either the price is approaching $100,000 or has already corrected from hitting $100,000. Probably the former because the halving effect to the price could still be fully priced in during that time. It could take more than a year for the effect of the halving to be fully absorbed by the price. Regardless, what's important is that it would be another New Year with a higher price.

The New Year after January 1, 2025 might have a lower price though.

seems like bitcoin still following its past cycle, i think this time around it will peak at $100k considering the start of the year like this the price already so high.
best case scenario the ETF get approved and we will see much sooner bullish which is to be expected to be honest if things went smoothly from here, I believe ETF will be approved since the ones that given proposal is not some measly investment firm, its a big one.
despite some recent fud that make the price plunge, im sure thats just a fud for effort to get in to bitcoin, regardless i will keep accumulating bitcoin anyway, my target would be $100k, im not selling before it reached that target and surely i believe it will.

If I were to venture a guess on the price of BTC on January 1st 2025, I would say $84,000. I think we’ll likely hit a peak roughly half a year later somewhere closer to $150K.

What captures my eyes is the price back in 2014-2015 because there are only 91 cents difference
from those 2 January firsts  that seems to be almost significant in 2022-2023  with only 567 dollars
difference wondering if this is not a sign of manipulation instead just a coincidence .

another thing is that 2019 is the only January that made a too low comparing to the recent Year starter.

This year first of January really surprised many people in the community because, they didn't expect the price to rise from $35k to $42k first of January and the price is still rising to alert people that bull run is very close to those that prepared well some years ago.

Nice one OP, i believe this will be useful for those who seeks for such information, I don't expect anything less than 150k for Bitcoin on the long run, but right now I have my whole mind on the probably last accumulation opportunity, maybe we will see Bitcoin go down to 30k, it will be a perfect buying time.

I'm also sure that BTC this year will reach a new ath, but I think 100k$ is too far, maybe it's at 80-90k$, only at the beginning of 2025 will it start to rise again.
