Okay, today I was actually out for a little business and it happens that I almost spent all my time wasted without me even having a smooth deal, but along the line I have few games that I have placed a bet and was wanting to view my games from my phone since gambling is now mobile, what I meant by mobile is that you can access your account at any place provided that you have an internet connectivity you will login to monitor your matches.

So when I logged in, someone close to me easily peep from my left hand side and noticed that I just opened my account monitoring my games, at this point what he said is "ahh you don join dem"? Meaning you have also belong to the groups of people that gambles?

On a lighter note, I just smile and asked him if there is anything wrong while gambling or while monitoring my games and he said nothing but just that few people he knew that are gambling almost turned useless.

This now triggered me to come ask here whether you cares about what people says or sees you as when gambling, I know there are people who don't know you from time or who doesn't believe that you are a gambler and if it happens that you came across such people and their reaction towards you goes other way round would you care about it or you just totally ignore them?

I don't care, I don't care what others say because I'm not addicted to gambling. There are many people who judge others. People who judge others will never disappear from the world, they are scattered from side to side.

But if that person will help you or give you advice because he sees that you are struggling, why not. he's just being kind so you don't run out of money and you don't end up addicted to gambling. But if your gambling is okay and there's no problem with what you're doing, that's a different story.

True, we should not be ashamed of our gambling as long as we are not affecting other people around us. I personally am not ashamed if my friends or someone I know will find out that I do gambling, but as much as I can, I'm not flexing or flagging to anyone that I know that I do gambling.

But if someone knows that I do gambling and has a violent reaction to what I do, I will listen, of course, but I will not take it to heart because I don't want to offend someone who doesn't know what I'm doing, and as long as I don't involve other people, then I'm good. In short, I will ignore them. Maybe they will give advice, but it's up to me if I will take it because I know myself and I know my limit. Even if they think that I'm addicted to gambling, I don't care because I know more about myself.

I just ignore them if I don't own them money they have no business questioning my gambling activity, we are better off gamblers not to let anyone knows about our gambling habits to avoid criticism and backstabbing and to answers useless questions from ignorant people, because not everyone will believe that we are just having fun there are some people who had a bad opinion about people who gamble, and its not our obligation to explain to this people so they will change their way of thinking.

There countries where gambling is well accepted and there are countries where gambling is taboo, but you can always find people who have a bad opinion on gambling even if its legal to gamble, so to avoid stress just ignore them.

Social media bloggers are advertising it now, articles are filled with gambling advertisements, and even popular sports are also letting gambling platforms be advertised while the game is running. If there are people who will say they are "useless" then perhaps they should look at how much tax is being received by a government through gambling.
Don't be triggered by it, it's not worth discussing it with people who cannot open their minds to how entertainment is being provided in this era. And if you know to yourself that you are a responsible gambler then I don't think you should worry about that.

There is no harm in listening to other people's advice if it can give you an idea that what you are betting on can lead you to gambling that will ruin everything. But usually gamblers will not care and continue betting, I will not be offended due to the fact that some uncontrolled gamblers become useless. I don't agree. Yes, it's your money and you can burn it or throw it away or wipe your ass with it if you want because it's yours, but there must be better ways to spend it. If you are stubborn, you think highly of yourself, you want to be left alone all the time, etc, you don't need other people's advice and suggestion. But you must think that your friends, family, relatives, loved ones could just be concerned of yourself. They could just be thinking about you. Some are saying this is my life, I can do anything with it. I don't agree with this kind of argument.

I think majority of us gamblers have that kind of attitude, again, in the first place, our money, our decision. They can give advise, but I wouldn't take it seriously, I mean how can someone gave advise to us if they themselves haven't went into that kind of experience?

Sure, others might argue that you are just wasting your money on gambling, but each of us here are very different, there could be real gamblers here who put bet on sports or play in casinos. But there are still haven't even place a single bet in their lives and yet giving us advises.

Assuming I'm a gambler, If there should be any questionings and cautionings, it should be backed with extra funds to be able to wager on the said principle - if not, then it's invalid.... Exactly, like some persons are just somewhat very stupid to tell others how to live their life as if they themselves are living a perfect life when if you check their life you will find out that they do worst things than you do, okay let's assume if the person that's condemning what you're doing is a womanizer that spends money on random women isn't such a person worst than a gambler? Because most time womanizers spends so much money on women just to woo them and can possibly get infected by these women and might transfer these infections to their wife so in so a scenario wouldn't you choose a gambler rather than such a person?

I have my life to live, and regardless of what you do in life, people will always talk, firstly I will consider my benefits before what other people would talk about me as gambler, am I gambling for fun or to earn money? These are two things I'm very much concerned.
lastly the way some/most gamblers behave when they're into gambling has made the society to look at them in such a way, in the sense that they end up achieving nothing and because they don't apply moderation, many gamblers don't control the way they gamble, some get addicted, while some borrow money or go extent to steal money to gamble. We should gamble for fun and not with the aim of becoming rich, so you don't get screwed as the society sees gamblers.

Since gambling is an unspoken taboo in our society, those involved in gambling are generally looked down upon. I belong to a Muslim family so religiously gambling is against religion in my society. Moreover, my family members do not support gambling and according to family law, participating in this activity must be punished by the family. He's not lying, we have more individuals losing than those making profits from gambling therefore there's going to be more individuals getting useless from gambling. Gambling is destroying more individuals than it's making them financially sound. Gambling shouldn't be the only thing we depend on if we want to make money as it'll disappoint us always. The society sees gambling as a waste of time and they're not wrong but we can also enjoy gambling by been disciplined.

Before gambling, we should have a budget and always make sure we're using that budget to monitor how far we have gone in gambling. I don't care about what the society thinks about me as a gambler but I won't open myself to the society for judgement so I'm always careful to not let anyone that's not my family or friends to know that I'm a gambler. No one has ever said that to my face, though it might be said in my absence. When you started gambling, no one told you to do so because you are an adult and understand the risks involved. Therefore, no one has the right to speak to you in that manner because you gamble with your own money, they haven't see you going to someone else and begging for money to gamble. As long as you have self confidence on you and you are an adult, no one could stop you from gambling. Yes, people may advise you to limit your gambling activities or do not to gamble too much so that we might become addicted. Yeah, I care about what people say about my gambling activity. This is why my gambling activity is not exposed to some set of persons. The kind of job I do is a sensitive one because I deal with young children. They see me as a role model and are not old enough to gamble, that is why I care about what people say about me. Most people in my area don't have a positive view of gambling, so it is common to see them criticising teachers who gamble.

Another reason why I care about what people say is because of my religious beliefs. My religion doesn't forbid gambling but many people see it as immoral. To avoid confrontations with some of these overzealous religious people, I prefer to keep my gambling activity secret because I care about what people will say.

Besides all these points, I don't care what people think about me because I am a responsible gambler and gambling is not affecting any part of my life negatively. Whatever they say or think about me is irrelevant.
