What about asking the people to share a screenshot of their fully synchronized Full node every three months? I don't know if something can be offered in exchange, maybe you can offer some merits, which may motivate the participants to run their node for a long time. How is that? Moreover, it would be good to have a spreadsheet of the participants who completed the challenge. I can help you maintaining the spreadsheet if you want.

The problem with asking for screenshots every three months is that most of them have probably abandoned this thread by now.

not gonna lie, i tried to keep the node live for as long as possible when i joined this, but once i needed some space as i was running a full node with +550 GB, i just nuked it and never bothered to set it up again once i had more storage. 
so yeah, people probably not only abandoned the thread but also the node unless maybe they were running it pruned.

I'm definitely "out of the game".
After almost a week, I discovered (sadly) why the synchronization was going so slowly (see my fifthy day)

Today when I got home I noticed my desktop computer was on a "screen of death", because my HD had died... it couldn't handle the intensity of the blocks' work.

I don't have any other equipment to keep running 24 hours a day at the moment, so I'm going to abandon the "project" for now and start over after I get things sorted out.
